We emailed ahead to make sure the Buick we were

We emailed ahead to make sure the Buick we were interested in was still in stock. She set a appointment up and said it was there. (Drove 160 miles to look at it) We got to the dealership, a man dressed in a suit met us inside and ask what we wanted. Told him we had a appointment to see the Buick, he said we sold it yesterday. No offer to help, guess he thought we couldn't afford to buy anything. We were so upset by the way he treated us. We went next door and paid cash for a really nice suv, at a better deal, and treated us with respect! Payless will get our business from now on!

We had my daughter’s X3 in for oil change and check

We had my daughter’s X3 in for oil change and check engine light. Was charged $240 for oil and ‘inspection to reveal oil leak. After second appointment valve cover was replaced and transmission linkage seals replaced. Total cost $2500. Daughter drove back to Fairbanks and transmission became very rough half way there. Barely made it and now transmission shifts down randomly, then upshifts and bogs down. At idle the whole car shakes while in drive or reverse. Not satisfied.

Thanks Nicolas I am in the lower 48 flying now but I will contact you when I am able. We have the car at an import repair shop now as it is not drivable. I will let you know what they find. Steve Jones

Thanks for the reply Nicolas, We had the car serviced in Fairbanks and found out the problem was a bad ignition coil pack. I had all 6 replaced and the car is doing good now. I don't think BMW of Anchorage was directly responsible for the problem, however I had requested a diagnosis of the 'check engine' light and that was ignored or forgotten. The ignition problem caused the light and it could have been repaired at the Anchorage shop. Steve Jones

Felt very at ease shopping for the vehicle. There was no pressure and the sales person, Phyllis, as well as other staff were friendly and accommodating. A slightly longer vehicle orientation would be welcome as there is a lot to know about the X5.

Great service

I had two tires replaced. They were able to have it done the same day. The complimentary shuttle service was quick and efficient. The service advisor was friendly and helpful.
