Dave and Mike's Used Cars of NJ Inc.

Came up (and over) from Middletown, DE after spending weeks looking for a used, but under 100k mi mini-van with loaded options for family and travel sports needs. The original one I had been scoping out was sold (I waited too long trying to watch the price go down...which was the risk I took on myself...someone else bought it). Fortunately, as that one rolled out, another rolled in, similarly equipped (slightly less options, but no complaints here), yet almost 20k miles less than the previous van. Given my poor choice of waiting it out last time, I called as soon as I was happy with what I saw on-line and exhanged emails with Joe (very pleasant) and then phone calls with Dave (equally pleasant). Give these guys credit for all the questions they handled from me, I had a TON! Among the typical questions all customers should ask when buying a used vehicle, the carfax link wasn't directing me to a 'free' report (there is a delay from when they put the vehicle on-line and when the free report becomes available). Dave didn't hesitate one second to send me an email copy of the full carfax report. So, if you need the same on the vehicle you're looking for, JUST ASK!!! I brought in a high-mileage, but well-maintained vehicle for trade-in (over 165k mi). They were also accommodating with that. Large dealerships and even other used-dealerships won't even entertain evaluating a vehicle with that many miles on it, but Dave and Mike's appreciated my business and treated me and my vehicle with respect. Rather than toss out a junk value - something I experienced elsewhere - they saw the good condition of my trade (original owner and I took meticulous care of it) and there is a market for it, so they offered me the fair market value for the trade-in, which matched my own self-assessment coming in, so I was very happy in that exchange as well. The minivan I bought (one week ago at this point) has overall behaved well. There was one issue with the exhaust system (not part of the powertrain warranty) that popped up the next day, but Dave worked with me in getting it repaired. Since I was down in Middletown, DE, he and I worked out a deal to have a local business handle the repair (after a fair price was worked out) and he handled the rest. The issue was fixed immediately and I am very satisfied with Dave and Mike's response and handling of the matter. I am very confident of their integrity throughout this follow-up concern. I acted so quickly in buying this vehicle, they hadn't even had it in inventory for a full-day before I secured it, but even so, Dave assisted me with resolving this as quickly and painless as possible. Things like this set Dave and Mike's apart! Most important to many reading this review is the price. Dave and Mike's price crushes similar competition. Up to the point of making my purchase last week, I had been evaluating available vehicles for almost six months. Time and time again, Dave and Mike's was at the top or very near the top for pricing. They easily beat large dealership pricing and are competitive and in most cases better than dealerships similar to them. One natural thought when seeing their pricing is the quality of the vehicle. One obvious rule as a consumer is to be your own advocate! They allowed me the freedom to poke around this van independently (they were NOT watching me or standing near me). I may have spent over 30 minutes doing my own inspection. I was very pleased with what I saw and then even more enthusiastic about the price. When the day comes that I need another used vehicle, Dave and Mike's will be at the top of my list!

Needed something more economical to go back a forth to work. Have always liked the HHR's, but never found one that really "stood out" . Mileage, cleanliness, well maintained, and of course price. I found just what I was loooking for at Dave and Mike's. I got a good deal on the HHR, there was no pressure to buy. I took the car home for the wife to look at and get her opinion. When I went back to the dealership, they filled out the paperwork and I was on my way in no time. Very pleasant experience. Would highly recommend them.

I found a car listed online at Dave and Mike's so, I decided to call them up and spoke to a very kind and courteous sales person on the phone, who informed me that the vehicle I was looking at online had just been sold earlier that day.But however, he suggested I come and take a look at their inventory because, they had more cars coming in and ensured me I would find the vehicle for me. So, the next day I showed up and pondered around a bit not knowing the car for me was right there. It was not the car I inquired about nor what I was looking for but, it was me 100%. A Kia Sportage it was in excellant condition and they worked out a great deal for me excellent price.They handled all the paperwork, and I was on my way. I would most definitely recommend Dave and Mike's to "everyone". One very happy and satified customer!

Saw the 2007 Ford Cargo Van on the internet at a great price. Drove over 2 hours to this dealer but didn't make it there before the dealer closed. When Dave received our call he agreed to stay late to allow us to look at the van. With no pressure he allowed us to look at the van and ask questions. Dave was flexable on the price and a deal that satisfied both of us was quickly made. Dave was friendly and professional making the experience extremly pleasant. Stopped in to look at a 2000 Jeep Wrangler I saw on the lot. Went in with no credit history at all, Joe spent the next hour on the phone with the finance company trying to get me approved for a loan. When it was all said and done, I drove off the lot with a new (to me) Jeep and a smile. All the folks on the lot are friendly and focused on making the buyer happy. Everybody was friendly and courteous. Spent a few minutes talking with one of the men from their on site service department just going over the vehicle will he pointed out the highlights and the very few flaws. They're upfront and honest with you every step of the way. At no point did I feel pressured from them. And they treat you with respect which is hard to find anymore these days. I will definitely buy from them again, when the time comes.

Went to Dave and Mike's looking for a dependable used car for my daughter. Woody was exceptional to deal with he understood my needs for her safety and balanced that with her wants/likes. Got a great vehicle at a price I couldn't match anywhere else. I can only recommend one thing Do NOT DELAY in making a purchase. They have a ton of foot traffic, I watched 3 vehicles be sold that we looked at in the same weekend we purchased the vehicle of our choice. It was worth the trip over the bridge from Delaware, my wife said she wants to buy her next car from Dave and Mike's.

It was a pleasure to end up here at Dave and Mikes to purchase my used car. The personalities of everyone there was friendly, honest, and wreaked of integrity. They never pressured me into a purchase and were very open about their philosophy and operations. In the end i bought a car that was exactly as advertised for a more reasonable price than anyone else out there. I will absolutely go directly to Dave and Mikes first when i'm ready for another car to see what they have in stock. Its absolutely worth the time to visit or call them, they are a "what you see is what you get" operation without fancy banners and all that other typical used car lot glitz.

I went to Dave & Mike to buy a use car for my daughter . I see this blazer there I like but was a little out of my price range so I turn to this Hundi accent that was more my price rangeand not a bad look car...I talk to Joe Hartman who came right out to help me out and he show me a few more different types of cars but decided on the Accent..so I put a down payment on it cause the still needed to put on a power steering belt..They called me a few hours to tell me that they found to many other problems with the car and decided not to sell me that car and gave the Blazer for the price of the car which was a much nicer car for my daughter,,,This place will not sell you anything that is not safe or falling apart they will help you get in a good car at the right price

We found a car listed online at Dave and Mike's. Called them up and talked to some very courteous and helpful folks on the phone. Showed up a day or two later and the car was right out front, in great condition (as advertised) and with an excellent price (better than anything we saw elsewhere by far - even compared to some private sellers based on the condition of the vehicle). Went out for a little drive around and decided to buy it - we were out of there in about 45 minutes, they handled all the paperwork, we got a great deal on a warranty, and we were on our way - completely hassle free and easy and friendly to work with. Definitely recommend Dave and Mike's.
