Friendly,honest,worth the drive

We drove from belton to look/test drive the Equinox. As we were returning from the test drive they were unloading a new vehicle to put on the lot( not completely ready) we asked to see it then test drive it and they were happy to let us do that,just explained some cleaning and small repairs were still needed. We loved the vehicle and bought it!!! Most places would not even let us look at the vehicle before it was on the lot . We would recommend this place to everyone the friendly,honest,helpful owners make it worth a drive from anywhere ?

Excellent Experience

My wife's car has 220,000 miles so we started cruising lots and calling dealers about cars we'd found here at cars.com. I was pretty put off by the whole experience. A few seemed decent enough but most seemed less than reputable. My wife found a listing for a 2007 Malibu at Lansing Auto Mart and when I called I could instantly tell this wasn't a shady place. I bombarded the salesman, Travis, with a slew of questions and he wasn't annoyed in the slightest. I can't emphasize enough how different the experience was versus other dealers I contacted. Long story short, we bought the car, Travis saw to it that everything was in order, and went above and beyond to make certain we were well taken care of. I definitely believe this is a reputable place. You always take a chance on a used vehicle, but I don't think these folks would try and sell you junk.

Super Deal!

We don't like cars....& we tend to drive them until the wheels fall off. With 1 dead car and 1 needing a transmission, it was time for a different vehicle. After a lot of searching & discussion, we really wanted a newer Ford Escape, but not the $22K price. We found one at Lansing Auto Mart for way under the sticker price. Great deal and they were very upfront about the car. Travis listened to us and did whatever we asked to make sure the car was to our satisfaction! Absolutely no games! He was genuinely very nice and was definitely all about customer service...but not in an "in-your-face-slimy-salesman way." This was the first time I bought a car from a small dealer and it was a great experience.Thank you Travis & your shop for being so accommodating.Great small, family-owned business!

Great deals, nice people

We purchased a Mazda3 that had been given a salvage title but only needed the bumpers replaced- airbags hadn't even deployed. We saved thousands by purchasing a "rebuilt" and it's running fine two years later. The front "bumper" doesn't quite fit right so it looks off by a few millimeters on one side, but it's no big deal to me and is only noticeable if you're looking at it. The family that runs the place are very polite, helpful, and no-pressure. We'll be purchasing another vehicle soon and keep checking their inventory for what I'm hoping to find.

100 % satisfaction

I purchased my latest vehicle (2008 Chrysler Sebring) from Lansing Auto Mart. I say latest because I am far from a first time automobile buyer. My salesman Travis provided me with the best auto buying experience I have had to date. Not only was the car in immaculate condition, and the vehicle documentation compiled by Travis and Lansing Auto Mart perfectly presented (they provided details on my vehicle far beyond that which I have ever received on any vehicle I have ever purchased from other dealerships), Travis actually kept the dealership open over an hour past closing time in order to allow me to drive the 150 miles from my home in Missouri so that I could test drive the vehicle. I have had the vehicle now approximately a month and it is 100% everything that Lansing Auto assured me it was. I strongly (STRONGLY) recommend this dealership to anyone seeking to purchase a vehicle. I can assure you that I will return to them when I am looking for another vehicle in the future. Thanks Travis for your honesty, and GREAT customer service (and I loved The Dave Ramsey book that you sent home with me)!

Great Car Buying Experience!

We came in looking for an inexpensive dependable car in great shape with low mileage. We were pleasantly surprised that the first car, a 2002 Buick Century, they recommended was the one that we liked. Our mechanic checked it over and found one leak that the dealer was willing to fix without a price change. It has been a couple of months now, and we are still very pleased. They will be our first stop for future car purchases!

Not the correct engine

The 283 listed in this specific posting is an older Chev engine, . . . never a "stock" Olds engine as quoted by this dealer.

This vehicle does have the stock Oldsmobile engine. We were incorrect quoting that it had a 283. We checked the Vin # and it does have a 350. We apologize for the mistake. We would also like to thank the author of this review for correcting us. Have a great day.
