Great car buying experience

I bought a car here earlier this year and I had a great experience. I found the car I was looking for, within my price range, with no hassles here. As a single gal, car buying can be stressful. Dan was helpful, and straightforward. He didn't try to talk me into a more expensive car like most salespeople try to. They fixed everything necessary with no hassle. It was a great car buying experience, I love my car, and I've already recommended Ideal Auto Sales to several people.

Toyota Solara

Test drove the car, did not like brakes. Also, needed hood struts. They put on 4 new rotors with ceramic pads, new hood struts, and sway bar links. Bought car, after a week noticed slight exhaust leak. Contacted them and they had a new flex pipe welded on. No hassles, no cost. Car has new tires, great carfax, ready for son's college. Very satisfied.

extreme repairs

I bought my car end of March 2014...first car I actually got to pick and pay for with no help from my parents...boy what a mistake..late July it started running rough I had taken it for oil changes and all that stuff like I was supposed to the mechanic tells me it's something wrong with the catalytic converter I call the sales guy and he tells me it's sold 'as is' which is understandable but shouldn't I get at least a year before there are major issues like this? He tells me he will contact the boss to see if their mechanic can fix it and I pay him I never get a call back then 2 months after that the power steering pump went out...Ok now I'm getting irritated....then 2 days before Christmas it completely goes out now I have no car at all and a nice hefty car note thanks fellas you have made this the worst car buying experience ever!!!! Never again will I go to a random used car dealership!!!!

I talked to Bob your salesperson about what happened. He said he asked you to bring the car in to make sure it was the converter. We never heard back from you, or did you bring the car to see if that was exactly the problem. We could have probably saved you quite a bit of money on replacing the converter. As far as the power steering, you purchased a relatively inexpensive used car, $4,990, and things like that happen. If you would like some help with the repair, we would be more then happy to have it checked out, and see what we could do for you. I am sorry to hear your having a problem, but there is no perfect car. You will always need to maintain them.

Very Happy

I am an elderly women who never owned a used car and I was not sure what to expect. I know nothing about cars and went to a few other places before Ideal. I was actually asked at another dealer, who will be helping me make a decision. The salesman at Ideal was very helpful and respectful. He helped me purchase a car and replaced a head light two months later. I sent my granddaughter to shop for her car and she also is very satisfied.

Bought a vibe and love it.

Bought a Pontiac vibe and love it.The customer service was amazing.He was honest ,not pushy,and very helpful.I recommend this place to anyone looking for a car at a great price.

Great Experience!

As a young woman looking for her first car, the whole process was very intimidating for me. After searching endless big auto dealers, my father suggested looking at Ideal Auto Sales. It was the best decision ever! I found 3 cars that were not only in my budget but very reliable and well kept. The car I decided on is amazing! Dan let us take it to our own mechanic for a checkup and the few problems they found Dan fixed the next day. He never made me feel pressured in any way. So a big thank you to Dan and Ideal Auto Sales for such a wonderful experience-I will definitely recommend you to my friends and family

Great Experience!

After a depressing day searching the big dealerships for a decent car, my husband and I tried Ideal. I can't begin to express what a great experience we had. Dan listened to what we wanted and found the perfect fit for us. He saw that the car needed wipers---after we bought the car!-- and put new ones on for us. He did everything he could to ensure a positive outcome. I will definitely come back to Ideal when we are in the market again. Thanks Dan!

Unhappy Customer

I am a single mom and I purchased a car back in February of this year and I've already put in $45 on fixing a hose for the windshield that he said he'd fix before I bought it. Also now my car don't start now and now I don't know where to take it for someone to fix it and as a single mom no extra money for all these repairs. I won't tell anyone about this place for a vehicle. So disappointed!!! Now I'm afraid for my teenage daughter to take it anywhere as I'm afraid for her to get stranded somewhere. No one is honest anymore today so sad.

Tammy, I am sorry your have an issue with your Malibu. When we sold the car, you had to take it right then. Bob, your sales person said you were supposed to bring it back for the repair for the washers. As far as the issue your having now, we would be more then happy to take a look at it to find out what the problem is. As far as the repair goes, we will repair it at our cost. No mark up on parts, and The shop I use only charges $50 an hour for labor. I'm not sure why you wrote the review with out even calling to see what I can do for you. So far, so good!

First time buying from a dealer that wasn't a new car dealer affiliated with a major brand. Dan is not a hard-sell type of sales person, let me roam the lot, answered questions, was very honest with me regarding any issues when I looked at trucks. Ended up geting a truck from them, and he wrote in the sales agreement a fix around the exhaust manifold w/o asking - he proactively did it since he knew it was an issue (not one that would "break" the car, but one that could affect mileage). Normally buy new, but wanted a 3rd family vehicle, and by a stroke of luck ended up with them. I'd do business with Dan again and would refer him and this place to others based on my experience thus far.
