I have been shopping all over town for a vehicle. I went to 5 dealerships today. All of them said they couldn’t get me approved and that I needed... a co-signer because i never had a car loan before, until I met Chris at McGrath Arlington KIA. He got me approved at numbers that made sense to me! I would highly recommend this dealership.
It advertised a Kia-certified car at a good price. But when I got there, they told me that the car could not be shown. They showed me another car at... much higher price. When I insisted on the original car, they told me that the car was in pre-certification and would cost more.
My experience was great. They didn't try to haggle us. I came there knowing exactly what I wanted and that's what I left with. Manny was awesome!
Chris was phenomenal to work with! He was able to get me in a car when I didn't think it was possible. Thank you so much!
I went in on Friday to see what I might be getting into next as my lease from Napleton's was coming to an end, not expecting to get anything just... yet. Until I experienced the most stellar display of customer service from their salesman, George Res. He wasn't the least bit pushy, and clearly and quickly explained 3 great options for me, not to mention his flawless and extremely thorough knowledge of the product . I chose what I thought fit me best, and then the entire sales team sprung into action. Like well trained soldiers. Removing all my belongings as neatly as possible, transferring my plates, my toll way transponder, detailing the new vehicle and having it up front and ready to roll in under half an hour, with my preset radio stations on the new vehicle. I can't thank George and his team enough. They turned a normally lengthy and tedious task, into an amazing experience that took no time. I am officially a loyal McGrath customer from here on out.
Length of time at dealership was 3.5 hours. Questions always answered promptly. Service was excellent. Never left alone fot to long and Rob always made... sure I was comfortable
We drove out from Indiana and had stopped by multiple kia dealership before we stopped by Mcgrath Kia. I spoke with Ack and also spoke with sales manager... Ken. Wanted to clarify few things before we made our journey out that way. The price they had posted online for a SEDONA sx was no doubt the cheapest but that's just to suck you into visiting the dealership. Once we visited they added all kind of extra fees to our vehicle. We negotiated back and forth with Abdullah and finally walked away. The car was posted online for $21500. They added on almost 5K worth of extra stuff to it. Dealer ship fees and warranty fees. While clearly it's listed as certified on cars.com. Every other dealership we visited they stated the price online is the price including the kia certified warranty. Nedless to say we ended up getting 2 SEDONA SX for 20K each from Thomas Kia in indiana. NO BS and straight up pricing is what we got. I highly suggest do your research and visit other dealerships. They will bring you in the the low advertised prices but will add all kind of unnecessary fees on top of it. They were charging 800 for documentation fees. It was 300 at other dealership. They were charging 780 destination fee it was included in online price at other dealership. There was puke in the men bathroom all over the sink and it seems like it hasn't been cleaned for hours. Please fix your sales process more and more people are getting savvy with car purchases.
Got a great deal on a 2019 Kia Optima S!!! Thank you George, John, and team McGrath for making everything simple and affordable!!! Would highly recommend!!!
Chris Duplancich helped me choose the perfect vehicle. Finally financed my first car after college and couldn’t be happier. Cant wait to show it... off to friends and family.
I had traded in my 2015 Kia Optima in late January. It was being leased and the lease wasn’t up until October, but I was already over on my mileage... by a few thousand. I knew that by the time the lease was up, I would be owing hundreds of dollars in extra mileage fees that I knew that I could not afford, so I decided to trade in the Optima early and get a new car with similar monthly payments. I was weary of trading it in to begin with because I was uncomfortable with how much my salesman Chris was quoting me. However, he promised that they would completely pay off the remaining payments on my Optima including the extra mileage fees, any damages, etc. After some time of negotiations, the finance manager ended up giving me a number I could agree with. They showed the total value and the remaining payments and whatnot. Me, THINKING THEY COULD DO MATH CORRECTLY, signed the paperwork to get a 2018 Forte. May comes around and I get notices from Kia saying that I still owed them almost $400. I contacted the finance department asking what this $394 was and was notified that I had signed an agreement saying they would only pay the amount they had quoted us. After looking at it more carefully, THEIR CALCULATIONS HAD SHORTED ME A MONTHS WORTH OF PAYMENTS FROM THE PRIOR LEASE. I had called and spoke with sales manager Mike telling him they did their math wrong and was hoping they would fix it. I had explained that one of the biggest reasons why I got a new Forte was because they promised to fully pay my Optima off. He said because I signed the paperwork, there was nothing they could do. I explained that I cannot afford to make this final payment because the cost of my Forte was at the very top of my budget and that I am currently practically living paycheck to paycheck. He never once expressed any compassion, nor apologized for the fact that THEY messed up. I straight up asked, “So basically you’re telling me I’m screwed?” and without a skipping a beat he replied, “Yes”. While it is somewhat my fault for not carefully double checking the math from the FINANCE department, their lack of empathy or caring about their customers is saddening. It’s evident that Kia Arlington doesn’t really care what happens post-purchase, as all they care about is making a sale. Because of my financial situation, this $394 payment has gone to collections as I can’t afford this unexpected expense, and it has greatly affected my credit score. I will never, EVER recommend this dealership to anyone, nor am I likely to purchase another Kia again as a result of this bait and switch.
