I purchased my vehicle from Cole Valley only about a year

I purchased my vehicle from Cole Valley only about a year and a half ago. The car recently stopped running and I had it towed back there. They called me after looking at it and said that the engine was bad and needed replaced. Cole Valley advertises their "warranty for life" program and failed to mention when we bought the car that in order to honor this we had to either maintain it at their location or call in to notify the warranty company each time we had maintenance done somewhere else. Long story short, the warranty will not cover replacing the engine now. I asked the service advisor if there was anything they could do to help me. He in turn asked the used car manager who just basically told him to have me refer back to my warranty contract. I then asked to speak to the service manager to see if he could do anything to help me. He ended up telling me just about the same thing concerning the warranty contract and proceeded to tell me that they did not "owe" me anything to help me. Frustrated with the results, I asked to speak to the owner. For a third time, I was told that I did not follow the rules of the warranty contract and that they would do nothing to help me. Not a one of them showed any caring or compassion for my situation nor offer any sort of help whatsoever. Now after owning vehicle for only a year and a half I am stuck with the full bill of putting a new engine in it. What a terrible way to treat a customer and make them feel not appreciated at all. My wife and I both love driving our Cadillacs but I can guarantee we will NEVER go back to Cole Valley to purchase a vehicle or get them serviced.

Ask for Sebastian!

Grace & Sebastian were super helpful! They made my buying process simple and quick. I love my new Cadillac! I have not yet used their service department but I was able to pre schedule my first oil change and they gave me free car washes for life! BONUS!

Great service department

wonderful people and very friendly. Honest pricing and fair. Newer vehicles are very difficult to service and understand for everyone even the expects. Honesty and great communication go a long way

Many mistakes in service.

Many issues. My new tires were not put on correctly. A lugnut was missing. Was not told on another occasion they did not see anything was wrong after being towed in after complaint of wheel bouncing. My husband found it was spring plate broken. Someone there became upset when I said the punk who worked on my car. They defended the person who made the error. I am sorry I wad upset and called a name. But I was left riding around in what could of resulted in a wreck. I no more going back to that dealership.

Service center needs to be retrained

This is just based on a service experience and not the sales side of this dealership. Simple oil change on a sts, left after a couple weeks (I work from home and my car sits in the garage days on end) I backed out of my garage and saw a puddle of oil. Took it straight away to my neighbor who is a retired Pontiac tech from the old Tads shop in girrard. Anyways, he put my sts on his lift and the dealerships service at cole valley did not put a crush washer back on my drain plug. Simple mistake but could have caused major problems if left unchecked. Looking through these other reviews it looks like cole valleys service needs to go back through basic maintenance training. I just moved to the area but won’t be taking my classic sts to this dealership anymore. I’ll take the drive back to the selling dealer of downtown Cadillac of Cleveland.

New Tires!

Was in Warren for a short weekend, the weather was bad and I wanted new quality tires. Cole Valley Cadillac got me new tires the next day. What a nice courtesy gal that picked up my car and delivered it. Got a good price too. Thanks for the fast service! I highly recommend this dealership.

Worst SERVICE ever

Ladies in the Service department were rude. Months later they realize they need help from me to receive payment from my insurance and call me only for Christie to hang up on me. (which is unfortunate as I just paid off my SRX and wanted to trade it in) SWEENEY it is! I wouldn’t buy any air freshener from that place.

Skip Mark Cole Valley MVP Retired, I Will Miss Him

I have been a Cole Valley customer for over 27 years, since Barrett Cadillac on Wick Ave. closed in 1995. Soon after that I met Skip Mark. To me Skip Mark was the face of that dealership when you pulled into service. Skip Mark was more than a Great Person at Cole Valley, I considered him a dear friend. Skip was always there for me when I needed help. I was in a car accident in 2012. After I called my insurance company I called Skip Mark. I told Skip of my dilemma; I told him My Cadillac DTS was being towed to Cole Valley Auto body in Warren. Skip called and told the body shop manager to wait for me. The body shop manager told me he was driving me to the dealership where Skip Mark would be waiting for me. It was late, Skip asked if I got a rental yet, I told Skip I would have to do that in the morning. Skip Mark gave me a 2012 Cadillac ATS for the night until I got my rental the next day. God Bless You, Skip Mark. Skip was always helping me. July 5, 2022, the air went on my 2019 Cadillac XTS, one awesome Cadillac. Still under warranty I called Cole Valley for a service appointment. I was told they were booked up until the end of August. My God I am going on vacation in 3 weeks, THIS CAN'T BE TRUE. Fo the next 5 days I was trying to see what a vacation might be like in July with No Air. I couldn't take it. I called Cole Valley and asked for Skip Mark in service. Skip answered and I told him my plight. Skip told me if I ever hear that response again, You Call Me !!!!! Skip had me come in the very next day. They had to order a new compressor. The shuttle to me home and picked me up the next afternoon when my XTS was ready. I made an appointment 3 days ago for an oil change and tire rotation. I asked the lady where's Skip at. She said he retired in November after 25 years at Cole Valley. OMG, I will not be seeing my Friend Skip Mark anymore. Skip Mark, YOU WILL BE MISSED. Mr. Cole, can someone let Skip know how much he will be missed. God Bless You My Friend, enjoy your well deserved retirement !!!!
