I purchased my vehicle from Cole Valley only about a year
I purchased my vehicle from Cole Valley only about a year and a half ago. The car recently stopped running and I had it towed back there. They called me after looking at it and said that the engine was bad and needed replaced. Cole Valley advertises their "warranty for life" program and failed to mention when we bought the car that in order to honor this we had to either maintain it at their location or call in to notify the warranty company each time we had maintenance done somewhere else. Long story short, the warranty will not cover replacing the engine now. I asked the service advisor if there was anything they could do to help me. He in turn asked the used car manager who just basically told him to have me refer back to my warranty contract. I then asked to speak to the service manager to see if he could do anything to help me. He ended up telling me just about the same thing concerning the warranty contract and proceeded to tell me that they did not "owe" me anything to help me. Frustrated with the results, I asked to speak to the owner. For a third time, I was told that I did not follow the rules of the warranty contract and that they would do nothing to help me. Not a one of them showed any caring or compassion for my situation nor offer any sort of help whatsoever. Now after owning vehicle for only a year and a half I am stuck with the full bill of putting a new engine in it. What a terrible way to treat a customer and make them feel not appreciated at all. My wife and I both love driving our Cadillacs but I can guarantee we will NEVER go back to Cole Valley to purchase a vehicle or get them serviced.

Many mistakes in service.
Many issues. My new tires were not put on correctly. A lugnut was missing. Was not told on another occasion they did not see anything was wrong after being towed in after complaint of wheel bouncing. My husband found it was spring plate broken. Someone there became upset when I said the punk who worked on my car. They defended the person who made the error. I am sorry I wad upset and called a name. But I was left riding around in what could of resulted in a wreck. I no more going back to that dealership.

Service center needs to be retrained
This is just based on a service experience and not the sales side of this dealership. Simple oil change on a sts, left after a couple weeks (I work from home and my car sits in the garage days on end) I backed out of my garage and saw a puddle of oil. Took it straight away to my neighbor who is a retired Pontiac tech from the old Tads shop in girrard. Anyways, he put my sts on his lift and the dealerships service at cole valley did not put a crush washer back on my drain plug. Simple mistake but could have caused major problems if left unchecked. Looking through these other reviews it looks like cole valleys service needs to go back through basic maintenance training. I just moved to the area but won’t be taking my classic sts to this dealership anymore. I’ll take the drive back to the selling dealer of downtown Cadillac of Cleveland.
