Dave is our favorite carr salesman of all time!

Dave is our favorite carr salesman of all time! (We're 75!) He was so informative, personable, hard working, and fun! We left with a great car, beyond what we were expecting. Dave spent a lot of time explaining all the amazing features of our car. He patiently answered all our questions and concerns. We will definitely recommend Dave and Hyundai to anyone looking for a new (or new to them) car. He is amazing!

I also miss Lisa Andersen and Anthony, the past general manager. Honest, bright, and cannot say enough about them. They were a great asset to Hyundai in Attleboro. It is not the same without them.

Our brakes in our Santa Fe were squeaky and we took the car to First Hyundai. They told us to replace the brake pads. We did, to the tune of $700. The squeak did not resolve and we took the car back. We were told it was "road grit" and the brakes were fine. Squeak never resolved. We took the car to another dealership, where they found damage to the brakes so serious, I was not allowed to leave in the car until it was repaired. The front brakes were never assembled properly (the original reason for the squeak) and in the course of replacing the rear brake pads, the rear brakes were damaged. Parts were missing. Other parts were bent and punctured more parts, and the parking brake was damaged. So, First Hyundai missed the initial problem in the first place and damaged our brakes in replacing the pads. Then they either missed the initial problem again plus the damage they did when we took the car in the second time and got the road grit excuse or they lied about checking the second time. And now we have to pay $800 to get things repaired correctly and are lucky we aren't dead in a ditch somewhere.

Service is terrible and service telephone operator is rude. They wanted me to wait 3-4 weeks to have my car checked because the engine light went on. Took it elsewhere and found the thermostat to be bad and they expected me to drive it.

Dealer response

Based on the code that was in the system, the diagnostics determined the column was the recommended repair. If another dealer was able to correct it with another method, we are pleased to hear that. Our intent was certainly to give you an accurate diagnosis and based on the outline in which we used to determine the failure the column was the correct repair. Mark Lacallaide, Service Manager

Gave me a quote for work on my eps system that ended up being 1800 dollars more than another Hyundai dealer because they are inexperienced and perhaps not very knowledgeable.

Only go here if you don't care what you will get

If I could give 0 stars I would. I went in they wanted to sell me a call that was on a lift with no tires without a test drive. Car was gone by the next week. No big deal found another, they said it needed to go through the final inspection, and sent me a picture of it on the lift. 4 days later and only because I have been bugging them daily, I get a call to tell me there is $2400 worth of repairs to be made on the car. They will not make them unless I come in and buy the car upfront before the repairs, then it will still take another week or two to fix. The will sell it to a wholesaler if I don't buy it before the repairs. On top of that they only wanted to give me a 30 day warranty. So it took them almost a week to tell me they don't think the car is worth fixing, but if I pay for it up front they will sell it to me. UMM I think not. The Salesman Dave Sacco is just trying to get a sale and could care less if the car dies 2 minutes down the road. As long as it isn't his problem.

I was interested in the 2019 Hyundai Sonata Sport they advertised and would have purchased it. However, after 2 separate attempts with no response from the dealer I assumed they didn't want my business!

First is the Worst

To be fair, I did not have an appointment. But I was the only customer in the sales department with plenty of sales people doing nothing. 2 smoking at the entrance. I had to introduce myself to Josh. Told him I wanted to compare size of Kona vrs. Ioniq. He pointed me to the Kona and then went back to his desk and looked around on Google. Didn't help me at all. Trunk wouldn't open because the car wasn't charged. Asked about Ioniq and Josh said he didn't have one, but the Ioniq is smaller than the Kona. I'm not sure if it was because I am a women, or if he thought by my shorts and T-shirt that I didn't have enough money. But this guy would barely give me the time of day and them the one thing he answered was false. Can't even say it was horrible service, because it was no service. Went up to Norwood and had great experiences with the 5 other dealerships I went in. First is the Worst!
