We tried to buy a used Jeep from Kenny Kent.
We tried to buy a used Jeep from Kenny Kent. I'm no stranger to the dealer, I take my other car there for service quite a bit. Always a good experience with the service department team. Things didn't go like I hoped trying to buy a used Jeep from them. What I initially thought was a good experience didn't stand the test of time. The price of the vehicle is listed $22,697. That price was discounted on 6/9/2025 down from $23,000 according to websites where they listed the car for sale. We made an offer for the vehicle and were presented with a rate sheet that showed an additional $399.00 for "ZapTek coating". Paint sealant by any other name. The price listed for the vehicle on the internet was not true. We told the sales manager we didn't want the ZapTek wax but he wouldn't discount the entire purchase more than $200--clearly above what they advertised the vehicle price as on the internet. This marks the first time I've seen a dealer try to pack a used vehicle with these add-ons. Despite the vehicle being listed on their website for $23, 697 to pique our interest, the price was switched to $24,096 when we tried to buy the vehicle. Even though things didn't work out, Aldry and the team treated us with respect and professionalism. It's refreshing to work with people who genuinely care about finding the right fit for their customers rather than just pushing for a sale. The dealership should be proud to have staff like Aldry representing them.

They kept us sitting for almost an hour and then
They kept us sitting for almost an hour and then pressured us to buy overpriced extended warranties. Gap insurance became an issue over timing and cost. I wish we had bought the car somewhere else. We will never take it here for service.
