Reviews
PLESE READ THESE REVIEWS BEFORE TAKING YOUR CAR FOR SERVICE. (Please i hope i can help someone) Dishonesty in Service Service advisor (Steve) displayed dishonest behavior throughout the process. Misrepresentation of work performed and parts used. Unnecessary Charges I was charged for parts that were not installed or used. Inflated billing for services that were not required. Poor Quality of Service Technician left fluids leaking under the vehicle after service. Work performed did not meet acceptable standards. Cover-Up by Management Dan attempted to cover up mistakes and refused to acknowledge wrongdoing. Lack of accountability and transparency from management. They offered for my husband and I to bring the vehicle back, but I declined due to this being the third bad experience at this dealership. I would rather pay and walk away than waste more time dealing with poor service quality and management.

DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS DEALERSHIP! * This is long winded but necessary for context. And I am so upset with myself for not getting the Boss (LOL) & BIG Boss (LOL) names I actually waited a month to write my review, not wanting to go off emotion. Well, today I am still baffled as to how and why they conducted business in the manner they did. And, evidently I’m not alone based on some of the other reviews I have read. I was in discussion with Brandon White for approximately 2 weeks (Christmas holidays prolonged things). We agreed on pricing and scheduled my test drive. I drove the 1.5 hours to the dealership. I had a paid off trade-in and check from my bank for difference (I rejected their financing because they would not have been able to beat my rate). Upon my arrival Brandon came out exclaiming "They say they are selling the truck to someone else!" I was taken aback, but he assured me that we were going to do the deal. He gave me the key to test drive the vehicle. During the test drive, Brandon calls me to say "My boss has your keys! I left the dealership because I don't like what is going on." Shocked, I return to the dealership and ask for "Brandon's Boss" (his name escapes me). He comes out and asks me to come to his office. He tells me that someone had come into the dealership that morning 20 minutes before I arrived and they will be purchasing the vehicle. When I asked if it is normal for their salespeople who are agents of the dealership to renege on their word? His response was "First Come First Served". Now at this point I am getting incensed, and I may have let him have a few choice words. So, another guy comes rushing out - I guess he was the Boss' Boss (BIG BOSS - LOL). He says that he wants to make it right and offers to sell me a different truck. He says, "It already has the big rims & tires on it!" I told him "I am a 57-year-old man, why would I want that? And do you think all Black people want BIG RIMS?!? I stated that I was feeling there were some type of undertones in our interaction and his response was "Most of our salesmen are Black." Honestly, that was the response - I can't make this up! Let's be honest - we all expect a certain level of "nonsense" when buying a car. But the microaggressions/subtle racism should not be a part of that expectation. Neither should a total disregard for another's time, effort, and money (gas & had to comfort myself with lunch afterwards - can you blame me?!). Luckily, I regained my composure and left the dealership. This isn't about not getting the truck. It's a Bronco, there are literally thousands of them out there - and I purchased one the next day. It's about common decency, consideration, and respect. None of which I felt I received from the moment of entering their lot. A very disheartening experience. And, sad in today's social climate.

Absolutely horrible business practices. Terrible customer service. And mistreatment of certain demographics. Don't let the makeup of the staff fool you - be aware!

Integrity is what this company needs.
I recently purchased a certified, like new S 500 from Mercedes-Benz of Fredericksburg, and I can honestly say I have never felt this good about buying a car. I’ve been driving Mercedes vehicles for over 30 years, and this was the first time I was treated with such genuine care, kindness, and respect throughout the entire process. The car was inspected thoroughly, and every detail of the sale—and how to operate the vehicle—was clearly explained to me. They were more than fair with the trade-in value of my BMW, and they even promised an upgrade before I left the dealership…which they absolutely delivered on. I arrived about an hour and a half before closing, so some preparation steps couldn’t be completed beforehand. Even so, I was the last customer in the dealership and never once felt rushed or pressured. The staff was patient, attentive, and followed through on every single promise. In fact, instead of me having to call them, they called me. Jake Huber, Justin Van Hoven, Mike in the Service Department, Whitney in Finance, the finance manager, and even the receptionist—everyone there was outstanding. The entire building is filled with caring, professional people who truly stand behind their cars and treat customers like royalty. Let’s be honest—Mercedes-Benz isn’t the cheapest car on the market, so being taken care of at this level really matters. I’m extremely picky, and I won’t be going anywhere else to buy a car. I genuinely love and, most importantly, I TRUST the staff at Mercedes-Benz of Fredericksburg. Sabrina

STAY AWAY!!!!!! SHADY. STAY AWAY. They lie and sell cars with coolant issues. Was going to buy a Miami Blue BASE 911. Started it up and threw a coolant code. Asked to have it sent to Porsche for PPI. They said it was “ALREADY THERE.” I swung by on a Sunday and SURPRISE IT IS STILL THERE! Stopped by today & they said it “self resolved.” I’ve owned Pcars for 25 years and these people think the consumer is not knowledgable. They had me wait 20 minutes to look at the car for a second time, and this time they didn’t bother to come out and let me start it up. WOW. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE DISINGENUOUS STEALERSHIP. Also, they said they had an appointment for this car at Arlington Porsche, when I called Porsche Arlington they said NO ONE CALLED TO SET UP AN APPOINTMENT! THEY LIE. I am also reporting this experience to the BBB>!

Mr. 987.2Guy, The Porsche 911 you looked at was inspected and cleared before being shown and there was no coolant issue present or unresolved at the time. Our staff was fully transparent about the car’s condition and inspection status, and at no point did anyone misrepresent contact with another Porsche dealer. Mercedes-Benz of Fredericksburg has earned Mercedes-Benz “Best of the Best” honors, ranking 3rd out of 169 dealerships nationwide, because of our commitment to honesty, professionalism, and customer satisfaction. We do not tolerate or engage in the kind of conduct you’ve described. We stand behind our people, our process, and the quality of the vehicles we sell. If you’d like to review the documentation from the reconditioning, we’d be glad to do so. MB of Fredericksburg
Stay out of these SCAMMERS! I went to buy a vehicle from this dealership and Thomas Wilson was the sales representative. He and the leadership did everything to conceal the terms of the auto loan including the payment terms, APR or interest rate and the true value of the vehicle. Whenever I asked they tell me it will be in the document the bank financing the loan will send me. I made a payment of $500 as a down payment for the deal to be secured. The cost of the vehicle after the down payment was about $27,000. When I received the bank’s document, there was no true in lending statement in that it did state the interest rate or the apr, and also the value financed had shot up to $32000. It was so ridiculous how the bank’s statement looked. I had never seen such a crooked documents before. I sent the vehicle back but they refused to give me my down payment. The sales consultant was Thomas Wilson and the Manager Ryan Brent. These guys are dangerous for real, they will scam you out fir real.

I was trying to get a price from Lucas Hidalgo, he refused and said I needed to come into the dealership. It’s almost as if he has never sold a vehicle to condone that doesn’t live in the dealership’s backyard. It was supposed to be a simple transaction but he made it difficult.

Backed out of an agreed upon sale on the day of pickup. Had already refused other offers for the car, resulting in financial damages. Do not sell your car to this location.

We had the worst experience buying a used car. We were lied to over and over again instead of just telling us the truth of why it was taking so long to process. You ordered the wrong part to fix it. Don’t have us wait forever for the car that was supposed to be ready the day before. And still we had to drive the car back to get the right part put on. The service we were told would take an hour, it actually took over 3 hours and they STILL did NOT replace it!!! The WORST
