I visited the second week of November 2016. This is an absolute bait-and-switch dealership. They have cars on their website that aren't even in their lot. I drove 40 minutes to them because I was in contact with a representative for 3 days and was told the car was available (bait). When I arrive, they tell me that the car is in another lot in Long Island and they are working on getting it over to this lot today. Then after 5 minutes, they tell me the Long Island lot sold it over the weekend. But hey, "we have other cars similar to it," (switch). Bullsh**. They list an appealing car at a good price on the website, even tell you they have a "Veteran's Day sale" and then they tell you that car is gone so they throw other cars that are less appealing and much more expensive. I felt so disrespected. Another thing, they rush you in the office and have you sign papers before you even check out a car. Why couldn't I see the car? Because, "it is in Long Island." I told him repeatedly not to run my credit because of hard hits on my credit and guess what? He comes back from the back with my full credit application. Even after he assured me that they were small/soft inquiries on my credit. I checked Credit Karma...they put 3 hard inquiries on my credit report. Thankfully the dealer I went to later on that day to buy my car of interest had my credit union and I was approved. I was interested in a 2014 Ford Fusion SE Ecoboost, 1.5L engine for $10,999. This car was on their website and craigslist as being available for $10,999. After everything played out as explained in my first 2 paragraphs, they tried switching me to Toyotas and Hondas for $15,000. I told them nothing else interests me. They kept telling me that past buyers have complained about the Ford's transmission and I should not consider Ford. They are just so full of garbage. If you have also been fed these lies about cars being available and then told it was sold when you arrive, don't hesitate to leave a review.

I am so happy with my car purchase. It was a pleasant experience at Hillside Auto Mall. The staff was so courteous and professional. They made me feel welcome and I went through the process with ease. The person who took care of me (ELI) did a great job in making me feel welcome. Im sure I will be back at this dealership soon. They are awesome.
