I purchased a FJ cruiser from Terry at Classic Auto...

I purchased a FJ cruiser from Terry at Classic Auto Sales. The vehicle was as advertised. I purchased the FJ sight unseen and relied on pictures and Terry's description. The FJ was delivered/shipped in one day to Kentucky. The FJ was delivered as advertised. Very satisfied with the vehicle and dealer. Terry was easy to work and the transaction was seamless. Highly recommend

Buying online

Terry very difficult to work with, he was reluctant to offer information I requested. Nice looking cars but I won’t buy from someone with a terrible attitude.☹️

Have no idea who this is. False review.

2002 Porsche 911 C4S

I inquired and eventually purchased a 2002 911 C4S from Classic Auto Sales. When I called the very first thing I asked about was whether the IMS bearing had been done and whether there was documentation. Terry's response was that it had been done and there was a 2" thick binder of all the service records. The ad on their website said the IMS was done. I even sent an email specifically asking if the IMS had been done when I initially inquired about the car. As fortune would have it, the IMS bearing was not done nor was there documentation of it being done... false advertising I suppose. I didn't haggle with them on price as I thought it was a very fair given the car, especially if it had the IMS bearing service done. When I took delivery of the car it had a screw in one of the tires. Of course when I asked Classic Auto Sales about this they said the transport company (who they scheduled) did it. When I asked the transport company they said it already came like that so I was out of luck and the first thing I had to do with my first 911 was go get a tire hole patched. What joy... I also asked on multiple occasions if it came with the owners manuals. Again, I was told it did. The car arrived with no owners manuals and when I e-mail about them I get no response. My most recent email asking about the owners manuals was 5 days ago. The only reason I'm not giving them 1 star is because the car cosmetically is how they described it to be. Very clean, cold AC, incredibly clean interior as well as functioning parts. I deeply regret not getting a PPI on this one. lesson learned. It's off to the shop today to get some work done to it that I was told had been done previously.

Gave this customer over $30,000 worth of Services in a file since the Porsche was new-All the history and records-Been inspected several times-No Issues-No problems. Just an unappreciative person

Terrible attempted buying experience

I really wanted to be able to make a deal here but I’m the end had to walk away from what was probably a great car because of Terry. I was trying to buy a Porsche C4S remotely and he was difficult and obstructive. He did not want to directly answer questions, would just say “The car is perfect” or “Read the ad.” He didn’t want to facilitate a PPI even at my expense. He wouldn’t show any of the service records he claimed to have. I still made him an offer that was admittedly $3k below his asking price but above market and he just said “No thanks.” That’s it. In the end, the car might have been everything he said it was but since he was so difficult and so obstructive the only rational choice was to walk away. In the end I bought the same model with similar miles and similar condition but a year newer for $5k less. Still had to get it shipped (from even farther away), but unlike Terry, this seller understood the challenges of buying remotely and cooperated with me to help me validate the claims about the car.

My car had every receipt from the dealer since new and in the last 3,000 miles had just had $11,000 in complete Full maintenance. He offered me $5,000 less. No thanks. Should not have given a negative review. I would give him a big negative review.

GREAT ESTABLISHMENT

This is a guy with a years of experience in the car industry. I thank you for answering all of my questions and the for the exceptional car you showed me. I felt at ease when you provided all the paperwork too.

Classic Auto Sales Rocks!

Terry was super helpful and I was finally able to find the car I wanted after searching for months. The process was quick and easy. I was able to show up, test drive the car, and then was back in a few days to purchase it. He keeps the cars in amazing shape and really cares about the cars and the history behind them. I was not looking for a classic car but he was nice enough to show me some in his collection and I was blown away by his knowledge and appreciation for these classics. Whether you are looking for a classic car or a regular car Classic Auto Sales is the place to go!

Great Experience

Terry sold my Porsche Cayman and bought me a Porsche Panamera. The transaction from start to finish was exactly what we discussed and I ended up getting the exact car I wanted for a great price. If you're looking to be schmoozed and have your ego stroked by a car salesman then go to a dealer and pay more. If you're looking for a straight up honest transaction with a good guy then come to Classic Auto. Terry has a good eye for cars and I can honestly say I got the best deal possible on my Panamera.
