Bad all around, unprofessional

Super unprofessional, after I came in to look into financing options on buying my first car and deciding to explore options first, our salesman informed us that “we’d better come back and see him so he can make some money off the time he spent with us” gross.

DO NOT GO THERE

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND CARMAX TO ANYONE PURCHASING A VEHICLE. I BOUGHT A VOLKSWAGON FROM THEM LESS THAN A MONTH AGO...2 DAYS IN I HAD TO TAKE IT BACK FOR BAD BRAKES....I WAS PLACED IN A LOANER.....PICKED MY CAR UP NOT EVEN A MILE DOWN 55 I HAD TO TURN AROUND AND TAKE IT BACK FOR AN EPC SENSOR...I WAS PLACED IN A SECOND LOANER....WENT BACK TO PICK IT UP....HAD TO TAKE IT BACK FOR THE SAME ISSUE...ULTIMATELY I DECIDED TO TRADE IT IN ON THIS PAST THURSDAY, NOW I HAVE AN FORD FUSION TITANIUM....FRIDAY IT CUT OFF COMPLETELY...SATURDAY MORNING IT CRUNK AND DROVE LIKE IT WAS FRESH OFF THE SHOWROOM FLOOR...SATURDAY EVENING IT CUT BACK OFF.....NOW TODAY I HAD TO SETUP A WRECKER TRUCK TO COME GET IT AND SIT IT BACK ON THEIR LOT TOMORROW.....CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE THEY'RE NOT SYMPATHETIC AT ALL.....I DONT WANT xxxx ELSE FROM THEM BUT MY FULL REFUND IN WHICH IM ENTITLED TO...NEITHER CAR I'VE DRIVEN OVER 3DAYS......BAD BUSINESS.....SO NOW ILL BE TAKING MY MONEY ELSEWHERE BECAUSE CARMAX AINT IT....AND HONESTLY I THINK THEY'RE GETTING CARS FROM FLOOD AREAS . ...DO NOT GO TO CARMAX AND WASTE UR TIME...

Excellent purchase and service

After going to several other dealers, decided to give CarMax a try, credit has some dings, just like lots of folks these days, but they found me some financing quickly with no endless run around like other dealers. Had a serious transmission problem less than a year after purchase but the MaxCare warranty took care of it, plus provided a rental for the week they had my car, no questions or problems, only had to pay deductible of 100 on a 2200 repair. Excellent experience all the way around, I've recommended several people to them. Will definitely go back when I'm ready for my Camaro!! :-)
