I've been to several Chrysler dealers in the area, all of them were very rude until we tried Humes Chrysler Jeep Dodge. We were treated wonderful, Bob Corritore was the best Salesman we've ever done business with. We have had some credit problems in the past involving medical bills, Kevin in Finance didn't give up on us and got us approved for 0 down. We picked out the car we wanted a beautiful 2006 Chrysler Pacifica AWD. We got a very fair price, Bob was very honest they up front told us the Pacifica needed a vent piece and that they would order it. We would'nt have even noticed it without him pointing it out. We will be coming back for a next vehicle. Thank You Humes, my daughter absolutely loves the Pacifica and thinks of reasons to leave just to drive it.

Well my experience with Humes was good at first. They tell you what you want to hear until you are suckered in and buy the vehicle you were looking at. I recently bought a 2007 PT Cruiser. Made the seven hour round trip out to take a look at it. It had rust on the hood which was a deal breaker. Overall I thought the car was in great shape for being a nine year old car except for the rust. I asked if there was other rust underneath and was told no but I still decided to pass on it. The car kept popping up so I called back and we discussed them fixing the rust on the hood. We agreed on a deal even though the price was higher than book value if they fixed the rust to my satisfaction. I was not happy that the car was over book value but they refused to go any lower. So against my better judgment I agreed to be upside down on this car and make the purchase. A stupid mistake that I will not repeat. I made the long trip out once again to this dealership. I bought the PT and drove it home. I called my mechanic to look it over. Turns out there is more rust underneath! I wish I could say I was shocked that I was lied too but I am not. I was going to insist that it be put up on a lift to look at it myself and I didn’t due to time constraints so shame on me! Plus, my mechanic informed me that the AC doesn’t work. I called and spoke with the general manager about the rust and broken AC. The general manager said this car was from Erie and what did I expect about the rust? Winters are hard there! He gave me some song and dance and said he would have to talk to the salesman about the AC. Five days pass and nothing. I called the salesman and he said he had been out of the dealership but I was on his list of call backs. I am sure he was going to call me back. Not! When I explained that I was disappointed with the rust and the broken AC he got so rude! I was flabbergasted that this was the same salesman who had been so nice and accommodating! I was basically told to pound sand that things break (hinting that the AC was fine when the car was on their lot! It wasn't working and they knew it) and that it was a nine year old car without a warranty and it sucks to be me. So BUYER BEWARE!! I wouldn’t buy a used car from them again if my life depended on it! The funny thing is the finance guy was telling me how they were such an above board dealership. That Mr. Humes tells everyone when they are hired if he catches them lying to customers they will be out the door. Well Mr. Humes you have some house cleaning to do! I have a 2007 PT Cruiser for sale if anyone wants to buy it. Needs some work.

We recently just purchased a Jeep liberty from Humes on Saturday morning. One of the best car experiences we have ever had. The process all together did not take long at all. Our salesman Ted Brink was a very nice man to deal with he wasn't pushy as we were deciding on our decision to buy the vehicle even let us take it for a second test drive to make sure its really what I wanted to purchase told us to take our time on the test drive. They were very happy to lower the price to make it easier for us to purchase. I would definitely buy from them again and would recommend them to my friends or any one wanted to purchase a used vehicle.
