After a long journey of shopping for a vehicle, my

After a long journey of shopping for a vehicle, my journey came to an end where it all started; at Walker Acura. I initially was serviced by Joe Loyacano, but ventured to other dealerships for about a month and a half and ended back in the services of Mr. Loyacano. The particular vehicle I was searching for was extremely hard to find, so when I reached back out to Joe at Walker Acura, I expressed my deepest desire to have that Ram Truck, and he made his personal responsibility to get me in it. In a situation where the odds were definitely low and against me, Joe worked endlessly, even on his off days, to give me all the help he possibly could. Thankfully, at the end of the situation, we got the green light! I truly feel that if I was dealing with another salesman at any other dealership, even at this dealership, I would have been still car shopping. Also, the finance manager, David Ovalle, is an exceptional guy and is also good help as well. I’ve only had the truck a few weeks now, but so far so great. If you’re in the market at this particular dealership, seek Joe Loyacano, he’ll take care of you for sure! Thanks Joe (I’m still busting’ bugs in my new truck)

This place is staffed and managed by the most

This place is staffed and managed by the most unprofessional individuals I have ever encountered. They billed me thousands in (fans, radiator, thermostat etc..) repairs. When following-up with service regarding issues with their repairs, I have been given the run around, left on hold, having my calls now being refused. I have left messages, emails, taken surveys, yet no one will return my call, nor address my concerns. They will not take responsibility across the board as an organization from what it appears. I have spoken with Lisa, Emily, Sam, John, and they have lied regarding following up and escalating my calls to Phil, the manager who is never available. It's been weeks and I have yet to be treated like a paying customer. Moreover, it's obvious there's something shady going on around there because in addition to my main functional concern, he work is so sloppy that they failed to screw my under panel back and it was ruined by the time I realized what happened. I discourage anyone from using this dealership for anything. They aren't worth the average hard working citizens hard earned money and/or business.

My car was brought in for a recall service and a service

My car was brought in for a recall service and a service was done on my car without my permission & I was forced to pay for it. No service that requires payment should’ve been done without my permission. I spoke with the sales manager on June 28th, and I was informed that the service manager would be returning from vacation that day and would contact me regarding this matter. I have called and left several messages and no one has not returned my calls.

STAY FAR AWAY FROM WALKER ACURA

The Service Department is horrible. No one ever answers the phone. If you want to speak to them you have to drive there. THEY WILL NOT ANSWER THE PHONE! It's ridiculous. Never in my life have I experienced such incompetence. I wasted my time and money for them to "fix" my car. after them having it for 7 days I get it back for the battery to dies on me 4 days later. But according to their diagnostic tests my battery was Great! ales department is no better. They bragged that everyone there was new and no one knows what's going on. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!

INCOMPETENT OR DISHONEST?

Had a problem with the griver's power seat. Cost >$2500 and 10 days to get a new seat frame installed. We were travelling and had no choice but to get it fixed. After I got home, I found that Acura had a service bulletin for the problem I had. A part that cost less than $100 and 1 hr labor (at $150 an hour). It should have cost less than $300 to get it fixed. Not happy.

Deplorable

We had a problem with the power seat on our Acura MDX which was out of Warranty. The problem developed on a Thursday afternoon on our way to New Orleans. We immediately called to make an appointment. The earliest they could look at the car was Monday, so we made an appointment for 8 AM when they opened. It took them about 2 hours to determine that we needed a new seat frame at a cost of over $2000 and 2 1/2 hours labor at $150/hr to install the seat. Since we were on vacation, we had little choice other than to have them order a new seat. We arrived on Thursday at 8AM and checked in to have the seat installed. At about 8:30 the service advisor came and said it would be about noon before they would have it finished. When I asked about the 2 1/2 hour estimate she said it was an estimate of the cost not the time it would take and there were lots of wires that had to be installed correctly. (1st big lie, the wires should not take more than 10 or 15 minutes). She insisted we take advantage of their driver to drop us someplace. We accepted the offer and 40 minutes later we were returned to where we were staying. I started calling at about 1:30 to determine the status of the car. After leaving several phone messages that were not returned, I finally got someone, Hannah, in the VW dealership across the parking lot to find someone to answer the Service Dept. phone. I was told they were still working on it, and could they offer us a loaner car. 40 minutes later their driver picked us up, an at about 4:00 we arrived at the dealer to pick up the loaner. The service advisor told us it was harder than they had anticipated and the tech had never done it before and was consulting with Tech Support to do it right. (Another lie, as we would find out later). Leave with the loaner car and arrive at our destination 40 minutes later. Start calling about 11AM to find out the status. Only answering machines. At about 11:30 we decide to drive to the dealership. Arrive about 40 minutes later. The car is still not ready. After a heated discussion with my wife in tears, we got to talk to the Quality representative. We then learn that they didn't start work on the car until 4 PM yesterday, but it was still not ready, but when they were finished, they would deliver the car to us. First good thing in 8 days! Back to the place we were staying. Another 40 minutes. Called at 2:30 to find out status. Still not ready, but would be ready soon. Unacceptable as we had plans for the evening and would be using their loaner car. Agreed we would pick up the car Sat AM. Arrived at the dealer at 7:45AM Saturday. Finally got out of the dealership at 8:35 and arrive back at where we were staying 9:15. They did wash the car!! Much of the angst and ill will could have been avoided if they had just told us when we arrived on Thursday morning that the tech that was to do the job got tied up on another job, and offered us a loaner car then, instead of multiple lies. We understand stuff happens. It would have saved us much angst and over 5 hours of time back and forth, if they had been truthful. Lynden Camin

Great car and great dealership

I leased a 2018 ILX from Walker Acura in New Orleans. Sal was my salesman, and he was great. The car is better than I could imagine. Everything about the car is great. Make the right choice when purchasing a new car and get an Acura. Great value and extras for the money

Not an actual luxury dealership

I can't say enough about how awful this dealership is. Less than two months after being pressured to buy a 2019 RDX, my car is in the service department for the second time due to errors with the technology, the reason I bought the car to begin with. During the actual buying process, I was lied to multiple times by the sales agents, and the customer service is horrible. Customers are made to stand around when bringing in their car for repairs, as the rep inputs your data into their computer. There is no place for the customer to sit during this process. The actual waiting area is dirty and old, and there are no vending machines. I drove an Infiniti for nine years, and that was an actual luxury experience. You were greeted as soon as you stepped out of your vehicle when bringing it in, and you were seated with the rep responsible for service/repairs. Today I was sent away in an old RDX which has none of the features I'm paying a lot of money for in my car, unreliable as it is. If you're in the market for a luxury vehicle, please, please look elsewhere.

Best salesmen

Tony is amazing! He will work with you in every way possible! He took his time & made sure he could do everything he could & he got me into a car 10 years newer then what I had ! That's a blessing . Thanks to him I no longer have to drive around in worry . I highly recommend going to see him if you're looking to purchase a new or used car. You won't regret it. Their facility is also very nice , it's well put together for those ending up in there for a couple hours.
