Bought a car from them and 30 min after driving it the engine blew up. Would not purchase a vehicle from them again. They are not honest with you and sell lemon vehicles. They falsified documents and changed the paperwork before sale. This company and James the salesman are completely crooked

Stay away. Just stay away. Untrustworthy business. I even spoke to a mechanic who used to work for them and he said that they only fix what's immediately visible for test drives and they don't touch any long term fixes that they see. I purchased a vehicle from them end of July 2023 and within less than a week I've put over $400 into the vehicle and I have another appointment with my garage for August 17th because I am now having engine issues. They sold me a car with illegal treaded tires so I needed to purchase 3 new tires. On my drive home from the dealership my check engine light went on, so they did replace 2 CO2 censors (which seems to be a common occurance with them if you check reviews) but they did not give me any paperwork to prove it was done. My car had been totaled by a drunk driver and by the time my insurance paid me I only had one day before my rental was due back. After visiting 15 different dealerships, Lakeside was the only one left. I was upfront about the amount I could spend and I was told by the sales manager, Ethan, that he had a 2012 Kia Soul in my price range. I test drove it and liked it and then I'm informed it's actually 4k above what I can spend (14k for a 2012 soul? Really?). I got them down to $10,800, which was still above what I could do. After signing the paperwork, one of which stated that the windshield would be replaced due to a spider-webbing crack all the way across the front windshield, I left the dealership. I was told by Monday afternoon the car would be detailed and windshield replaced. I call that afternoon and was told the car was ready. They did NOT clean the car (dirt, dust, hair, smelly) and the windshield wasn't fixed. I was told the windshield would be fixed the next day, then I was told Wed, then I was told the replacement windshield broke so it would be the following Tuesday, then I was told Thursday. I've now received zero communication from the business or the person who is to replace the windshield. I also have yet to receive copies of the paperwork I signed and have requested it be mailed to me, but, again, no response. This is a shady AF business and I really hope people read these reviews to learn, unlike me.

Lie, cheat, steal. They will sell you a trash vehicle while telling you it’s been reviewed by professional mechanics. They will lie to you about your warranty and the condition of the vehicle. Just don’t waste your time and money here. You’ve been warned.

This place is terrible. I bought a car for my newly licensed driver back in December. I stressed how important it was I had a sound car for my daughter as I did not want her stranded on the side of the road. Two days after driving off the lot the check engine light came on. I took it back in and since the check engine light was not on they could not read the codes. I took it to a repair shop and was told break rotors were very bad and battery needed replaced immediately. We ended up spending over $3,000 on repairs in the first 6 months. The check engine light still kept coming on. I took it into a shop in early October and they gave me an estimate for over $8,000 for cam shaft crank shaft rebuild. I called back to the dealership to see what they could do as this car has had continuous problems since I bought it. Zack acted like he was going to help. They had the car in the shop for two days for just the evaluation. During that process they kept stressing that they thought it would be best for me to just trade the car in. (I would NEVER trade for another one of their cars). While the car was in the shop being evaluated I spoke to a family member who is a mechanic and he did a lot of research on the vehicle and the codes that were coming up and stated I really needed to look at having the cam sensor updated which is an easy and cheap fix. He felt that was most likely the only concern. Once I called Lakeside back to get an update they told me that it was likely a cam sensor but that the mechanic felt the motor was going to go out at any time (not likely true at all). They said they could provide a quote for a new motor or they could find us a new car to trade in. I asked for a quote for the cam sensor only and they would not provide that quote for me. They really just wanted me to put more money down on a different xxx car. The worst part is he said, since you have had this car for a couple of years and because of the issues with it we won't be able to give you very much on the trade... I had the car 9 months and my daughter had put right at 2,000 miles on the car... and we already put over $3,000 into that car is in WAY better shape then it was when we bought it from this dealer. You guys are absolutely terrible and I hate I ever stepped foot on your lot.

Pretty great staff and facility. You can tell these people really care! Will 10/10 reccommend to friends and family. Probably the only place in town that is still locally owned and operated!
