Excellent Service Experience

Exceptional customer service! I bought a truck the middle of this year and picked it up in the rain. When it finally dried out I noticed a cloudiness to the paint on what area. A few weeks ago I decided to have it looked at finally. I discovered a fairly significant issue with the paint when I took it to my detailer and then a paint guy. I emailed them clearly not expecting much to happen as it had been 6 months and they had no obligation to do anything about it. I was shocked when Tyler from their service department called me the next day to schedule a time for me to bring my truck in so they could fix the issue by re-paining the area at no charge. I showed up on my appointment day and he had a loaner car ready and I was in an out with no questions asked. He said they would get right on it, but to give them a few days to get it fixed. They called the next day for me to pick it up and it looked showroom new. It even had a full tank of gas and considering I have a 30 gallon tank that is extremely generous. So many things they did that they didn't have to do, were under no obligation to do, but did so anyway. Truly the best customer service I have ever experienced.

I had to submit a request to ship the vehicle to a closer dealership 3 times before I got a phone call. I was told about 7 days and it’d be ready to test drive. I’m on day 9 and haven’t received a call about the test drive yet. Fingers crossed maybe soon.

I came into CarMax in Tulsa to discuss a specific car located in Texas. I was helped by Jaime Monroe and she was very knowledgeable and did not pressure me to buy anything. They are bringing the car I want to buy from Texas for FREE and based on the guarantees CarMax provides I feel so comfortable making the purchase. This is the easiest purchase of a vehicle I have ever had. Thank you Jaime, I’m very satisfied and at ease with my choice!


Worse place I have ever seen to buy a car

Worse place to do business was approved for a corvette then treated horrible by sale person and manager simply due to color of my skin I am sure had all my paper work ready was approved not pre approved but was treated like me and my wife were crap simply due to color of are skin

Bought a Lexus ES 350 40k miles, four years ago. Great buying experience. No hassle. Got me in and out with financing. The paint job, front bumper went south on me about 6 weeks in. Not carmax's fault. Lexus had a problem with paint on that year make and model. Purchased a warranty. Best decision made in a long time. Very reliable car, extremely reliable warranty. During the last six years, the warranty has paid for about 7k in repairs.

CarMax did a good job for me!

I was shopping for a used Chrysler Town & Country Van in excellent condition that had a 6-way power seat on the front passenger side and was white on the exterior. This particular model was very hard to find and CarMax only had about 4 of these nationwide out of about 340 Town & Country vans that they had in stock. I found one on-line that was in Texas that I liked. I contacted Brian Bricken and he started the process of having this particular van transferred to Tulsa. He called and let me know when it was here and ready to test drive. Brian was very easy to work with during the entire process. I test drove the van and liked it. Then I went through the actual buying process at CarMax which was quick and painless. Once I bought the van I took it to Christian Brothers Automotive on 81st street and for $99 plus tax they did a very thorough inspection and only found a few minor things that they recommended to be fixed. I then made an appointment with the CarMax Service Department and Bob helped me through that process. He gave my an appointment to bring the van and have their tech go through my short list of things that needed fixing. They replaced all the windshield wiper blades. They purchased and installed a rechargeable flashlight that was supposed to be in the van. They they ordered a plastic threshold to replace on that was slightly cracked. They also replace a piece of weatherstripping that had a minor tear in the black rubber. I am very pleased with my entire CarMax experience. Now I understand why there are so very many vehicles running around town with "CarMax" emblems on the rear of the vehicle. The next time I need to purchase a vehicle I plan to go on-line and see what CarMax has to offer.

The salesperson was very accommodating and easy to work with. The car was delivered from California in four days but had to wait an additional eight days for title transfer. Thankyou Oklahoma! Picking up the vehicle was fairly easy and the staff was professional and congenial. The vehicle was everything that was promised and I would definitely recommend them .



Purchased a 2014 ford fusion was exactly what I wanted .. was in Arlington TX. Transfer was free however took 2 weeks to get to tulsa then after beige explained to about certified car check and all paperwork done.. drove off the lot only to return the car account the software for the audio and satellite would not work after 10 minutes they took to a dealership where the car has been for 2 days now and yet to be looked at
