For two months, I searched for a dealer that would work with me. I had made a few bad decisions over the years and my credit history suffered as a result. Nobody within a 50 mile radius was willing to work with me. That all changed when I sat down with Frank, the single most honest salesman I have ever met in my 30 years. When everyone else asked me for more money down out of pocket than I had in my entire checking and savings account. Frank asked me what I had and what I could do every month. Even after an initial rejection from a few lenders, Frank and Jimmy in finance fought for me and managed to put me in a 2009 Mitsubishi Galant that I can now proudly call my own. I cannot say enough in this short review about what a fantastic organization Star is and the extent to which they are willing to help you. I hope to one day come back to them and pay cash for my next car!

Great buy at Star auto mall
I had a great experience purchasing a vehicle through star, I had been in various dealers prior to visiting and to be honest, I hadn't recieved such a sense of care and respect that I did at star. Staff was great, and the whole was very easy and smooth, I would definitely go back in the future.

These guys are the real deal
I was hesitant to go check out their cars since they are not a big name I've ever heard of in the Lehigh Valley but I am so glad I got over that. This place is exactly what we all say we are looking for--a dealership with genuine people who have an always changing selection of quality cars under book value, who never pressure you or make you uncomfortable. Frank is the best sales guy I've ever met, what a good guy! Jimmy got me approved when no one else would, and Ruby made all the paperwork easy and stress-free. I can't say enough about them. They let me drive as many cars as I wanted, without a sales guy tagging along, and there was no pressure at all. Once I found a car I liked, they were very upfront with the car fax, book value, and everything else I would need to know to make a good decision. I bought a Honda CR-V and am very happy with the whole process. I highly recommend them.

First Impression
someone contacted me right away via email. They asked a couple of questions and said they would call me shortly. Never recieved a call so the next day I emailed them answering the desired questions and I never got a response. Their first impression did not sit well so we didn't look at the truck

Buyers Beware
Pricing games seem to be the order of the day here. After finding several car choices on the cars.com site located at Star Auto Mall, we called to confirm availability. Made the two hour drive to Bethlehem to find two of the five cars had been sold. The remaining three were priced $1,000.00 to $1500.00 more than the listing on the cars.com website. We were told that it was the fault of "someone" in the office. After insisting they honor the advertised price they agreed, but tried to make us feel we were getting a real steal, but were in fact paying full price. I should have walked away.

We saw a car we liked on the internet and sent a repley in. We were contacted by Toyna the next day. She was very helpfull,Hector was our salesmen and he did everthing he could to get us our best deal.Together with there managers and loan dept they put together a real good deal. Not your average dealership
After visiting many dealerships and having the typical salesman pitch numerous times, visiting Star Auto Mall was very refreshing. No gimmicks or games. Just very focused, friendly and customer oriented people trying to find a car for you. They took time with me, answered my many questions and were very reasonable to deal with. Even after the purchase they were concerned with cleaning cleaning and buffing the car and wanting to do everything possible to make us happy. This is how people should treat customers... other dealerships need to take a lesson from these guys. I feel very comfortable recommending them to friends and family as I know they will be treated with respect. Great job guys!

What a HORRIBLE experience!
I called about a vehicle and they said it was at the shop. The girl said she would try to get it over to the dealership so I could take a look at it. Sooooo, two days later with no call, I called them back to ask what was up! They said the vehicle was still not there and they would get back to me ASAP. Another two days went by and I called because I was a little upset with there communication. I talk to the sales manager frank and explain that no one has contacted me about my interest in the vehicle and he said " I will personally call you back myself tomorrow and give you a status of everything." Guess what FRANK!!!! Still waiting for that call!! Don't worry, I went to another dealership and bought myself a SUV. Thanks for the great customer support!

Recent Purchase @ Star Used Cars
Recent events created a need for a vehicle in short order. Having no prolonged per purchase period created some difficulty for us. We visited a number of used car dealers and found they were less than attentive when we could not provide a specific vehicle description for them. Most would show us the single car they thought we wanted from their inventory rather than providing a selection from that inventory. Steve at Star was more accommodating in this regard, to the point of suggesting we could drive 'the whole lot' if we wanted. [+5 stars] We looked at several vehicles and drove 2 or 3 before the Boss (no not Bruce, my wife) became seriously interested in the purchased vehicle. The decision to purchase was made and the process became more clinical and remote versus the selection of the vehicle part. [+3 stars] The process was explained in cliff notes form preventing intelligent questioning. [+3 stars] There were a number of things we might have done to smooth that process, however the short time frame made this difficult for us but Star managed to accommodate us despite our minimal preparation. [+4 stars] While the paperwork was in process, Steve provided a tour of the facility including the service area [+5stars] As the final paperwork process was in process, we discovered we were paying for additional coverage (service plan type stuff) which increased our actual cost by about 13%. Probably a good decision, but I was a bit disconcerted regarding the delay in the cost/ benefit discussion. [+2 stars] Over all, a good experience and we have a vehicle meeting our needs and budget after visiting 10 dealers in 12 days. [4 stars]
