Worst service I have ever received

I have had nothing but bad customer service experiences with Stokes VW for three months now. My car has a factory issue that made the AC leak to the inside. It took me 8 hours to finally get a hold of someone that would help me at the dealership, even when I kept stressing how bad the issue was. After it was repaired, it was returned to me with greasy handprints all over the roof lining and work tools in the trunk. I had to go back again to get the stains out. When they got the stains out they left the roof lining pulled and rugged in many places. Now I have to replace the rook lining. When I tried to talk to the general manager (after 6 phone calls ad 4 voicemails over 6 days) he interrupted every sentence I tried to say and he hung up on me. I will NEVER buy another car from them and will continue to tell people to stay away from them.

incorrect pricing on parts, poor website for query

I called to get the price and availability of a new car battery and a bottle of 500Ml Brake fluid for my car. After waiting on hold for 10 minutes, the call was dropped. Called back a second time and was quoted over $10 for .5 liter bottle. When I asked the gentlemen about the price being too high for .5 liters he said that was the price. I picked up the battery (all was good) and again inquired about the .5 L brake fluid price and was again told it was $10. I get home, work through the website trying to check on the brake fluid price and behold, it was $5 per bottle not $10. I would have bought 3 bottles if the parts associate had gotten the price right.

Service with a smile

Van, tank you for all your help and whoever else was involved. We purchased a new vehicle and without going into to much detail there was an issue with the vehicle that we did not notice right away. A week later we called and advised them of the problem. Without any run around we were advised to bring it back and they would take care of the issue. They advised that it would take about a week. Three days later Van called and advised that the vehicle was ready. We arrived and found that the problem had been taken care of. No headaches. Thanks Van once again for all you have done for us. I will send everyone looking for a vehicle to you and I know that they will be taken care of.

Beyond Helpful

I was nearing the end of my lease of another type of vehicle that was more affordable than my previous. I went to Stokes VW and fell in love with the Tiguan. Thankfully, they walked me thru how to properly end my lease on good standing - which I just turned in yesterday. Alex was my sales person and he's a VW lover, he knows his stuff. Also, they truly care about getting you into a car and they don't hang over your credit score over your head.

Ms. Peaches

My expectations of what would happen once I arrived couldn't have been further than what actually happened. I was told all income was useable income. That was definitely not true. I felt embarrassed, like I was taking a walk of shame.

No value add, I would buy elsewhere.

I've been here twice and I would only purchase here if I had setup a price from an online service where Stokes VW agreed to sell at that price. The salesman Rene needs to turn it down a notch, he's the definition of a 1990 car salesman. He needs to listen a bit more to a customer, instead of showing off that he knows about cars. There's a thing to having a quite confidence. First offer on negotiations was the price on their website and what Carvana would give me for my car... Seriously? I had to laugh in their face, Low Country VW dealership and another VW dealership in Georgia gave me a better first offer, hence, why I went with them. I'm ok with a dealer making money, but a car purchase is a negotiations.... Do your home work car buyers before going here, or you'll be ripped off. Also, after they inspect your trade in, get your keys back immediately, as it's a tactic to keep you around longer, as they'll try and wear you down in the car buying process.

Helping and taking care of customers

Very poor vehicles coming off the truck. Brand new with issues . Engine replacement within first year. The car is a 2018 and I am the only driver.

The staff was very helpful and courteous. I was helped rather quickly and was told of recent vehicles that were bought. They were honest with the prices too so that’s cool

No One Wanted to Sell a Car

I was interested in a specific vehicle and left two messages (1 through a sales person for the sales manager (she said she sent him an email) and 1 in the voice mail box supposedly of the sales manager) to get more information. I tried a third call to the manager, but when put on hold for a while listening to music, hung up. I waited for over a week and decided to try one more time. I talked to another sales person on a Monday. He took my contact information and questions, then promised a returned call on Wednesday. He didn't call back. In fact, not one person ever called back. I gave up on Stokes Volkswagen. I figured if I had this much trouble in trying to buy a vehicle, then imagine what it would be like to try to get help if I had trouble after the sale. Always like to give the benefit of the doubt, but after 4 tries and no one thinking enough of my business to pay the courtesy of a returned call, I figured why bother?

Incredible experience

I love working for Stokes Volkwagen. It is a wonderful place to go to work everyday. I can rely on management to reinforce a quality top notch expierence for every customer I have. I am very grateful to work for a company like Stokes Volkswagen. I also bought my VW TDI from here. I am very lucky to be a part of such a great team.
