2013 Passat TDI
I decided on a car and Jason met me when I arrived, ready for a test drive. Jason had the utmost respect for me as a person and a customer. This is my second purchase from Stokes VW. I am very pleased.

oil change
I bought my car at the Stokes Mazda dealership and received some free oil change vouchers. I was expecting average service seeing as I had the vouchers. But, to my surprise, the service department was great. Not only did they have me in and out quickly, but the department manager kept me informed of the progress on my vehicle and informed me that my vehicle needed an alignment. I would come back even if I didn't have the vouchers!

Always an excellent experience
I bought my 2011 Mazda 3 at Stokes Mazda, new. The buying process was easy and low-stress (I hate buying cars!), and I absolutely love my car. I take it to Stokes for oil changes and most recently new tires and an alignment. Everyone was courteous and friendly, as always. And, not related to this particular visit, but I recently brought my car in for an oil change, and needed to study for the bar exam. The guys at Stokes set me up in their upstairs conference room, where I could study in peace - what service!

Service issues - wait times and unfinished work
Scheduled (online) to have an oil change service early in the morning around 9am. We finally left around 2 after 4 hours as we waited patiently. I normally done check my engine fluids but I didn't trust them from my recent experience today. They didn't even top off my coolant!!! This could have caused my engine to have major problems! I would not recommend this VW! Beware if you do go to them for anything.

Upon further research, I see that there were also 2 outstanding recalls that were performed which is why it took 4 hours that morning. Our service department should have made you aware of the additional time and I apologize if that was not the case. Dedicated & Professional Salesman
Clarence Nelson is, by far, a very dedicated and professional salesman. I purchased my 2013 VW Beetle on a Saturday and was not able to take delivery until the next day--Sunday. Clarence came in, on his day off, even though the dealership was closed, to see me off and make sure all my questions were answered. HOW'S THAT FOR GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Great Salesman! My 2013 Blue Turbo Beetle
I am so happy with my new turbo beetle! Kevin Spivy, who sold us the car, was so nice and very helpful with everything. The customer service is first rate and Ed Seyle was a pleasure to work with! I've had many compliments on my new car and I make sure I let them know where I purchased it.

Stokes Version of "Carefree" Maintenance
I took my car in for its routine 30k maintenance and courtesy wash on a Wednesday. As I was walking up to pick up my car the first thing I noticed was my car was dirty. Rain would have washed off more than they did. Then I saw a nice size dent right in the back of my car. When I told them what I had found they were quick to set up an appointment for the next day to fix the dent and fully detail my entire vehicle. I was very relieved that they were handling the problem easily and, so far, professionally. The next morning I bring my car in and they gave me a loaner which is great when your car is in the shop. Around 3pm they call me and say their detailers had changed their hours without telling the maintenance department but they will be in tomorrow. They tell me to keep the loaner overnight and I can pick up my car tomorrow. The next day, lunch comes and goes with no word from Stokes so I give them a call at 1pm. They ask if they can call me right back as the office is busy right now. An hour later they call and tell me they are working on the car and it will be done soon. Finally at 5pm I get a call but now they tell me the detailers couldn't finish the car and I'll have to pick it up tomorrow. It is now Saturday, two days into the holiday weekend, and I still don't have my car back from a simple oil change. Stokes VW calls at 1:30pm telling me the car is ready for me to pick up. I drive over and walk inside to sign for my car. The attendant immediately starts explaining that the detailers never showed up so she just had the maintenance guys clean the car. And in her words it should be ok, "because we aren't charging you for the dent repair or car detailing." Well I am so glad that you aren't charging me to repair the dent that you put into my car (which after three days still isn't completely fixed) and that you lied to me that my car was being worked on. The maintenance guys who "detailed" my car left large streaks of polishing compound and/or wax all over the vehicle. There was a muddy foot print on the back seat and there was still dirt on the console and in the cup holders. On a good note they really made sure the tires were very nice and shiny. Thank you Stokes Volkswagen for your carefree maintenance. However, I am not so sure it is me that is "carefree" with my vehicles maintenance as it is your employees and maintenance technicians.

Amazing experience
I bought my first car there this past Saturday and I was terrified going into the process. Right away they were super friendly, not pushy at all and didn't try to pull any fast ones on me. They found me exactly what I wanted and got me a great deal on my trade-in. I really am so happy with the service they provided and would definitley recommend them to my friends and family!
