I bought a very awesome car off of barts, did the online shopping, found EXACTLY what I was looking for. Went and test drove it the next day and the day after went up to get it. We had a written agreement that they would completely detail the interior (it was gross) fix my driver side mirror as it was just sitting in there, and a plastic piece that was hanging from under the car. I picked it up and had people from out of town helping me get the car and I didnt get a chance to inspect it, but did notice walking to the car the underneath had been fixed but got inside and it hadn't even been swept out from my test drive the day before!! Started driving and got two roads ago from the location and my mirror is just flapping in the wind, so at this point im going to assume it wasnt fixed at all. I emailed the manager of that facility to have proof i contacted and ive not heard one peep from anyone. So, with that being said, I will enjoy this vehicle and warn others to beware and shop elsewhere next time. My salesperson was extremely nice but I have a problem with a company not holding up its end of thr deal. That's the only reason I paid a little more.

Unfortunately, when purchasing a used car there are going to be some minor blemishes along the way that may need repaired. If you were promised a timely repair by Bart's Car Store then you should contact the main office and ask for the Marketing department to get that taken care of immediately. We are very sorry for the mishap and will gladly assist in coming to a solution. Thanks so much for buying at Bart's!!

Checked out a couple vehicles. Had different salesmen both times. Neither were too pushy. But also meant they weren't too concerned about a sale.

Amazing!
Scott Eubank has to be the best car salesman I have ever worked with ! He was upfront honest and helped me find what fit my needs. I would recommend Barts and scott to anyone i know. they are excellent!

2nd Purchase!
This was our second purchase from Bart's, although our first having to use credit. Corey was our salesman, and he was totally awesome! He's the reason we came back to Bart's Car Store. He's so friendly, and has always been up front and honest with us. As with any used car, do your research. Corey let me drive about 6 vehicles to find just the perfect one, and even let me bring to my hometown (about 25 miles away) to have it inspected by my mechanic. It needed an oil change and transmission flush, which Bart's took care of, and let me take it to my mechanic instead of "putting me out" by making me come back to Fort Wayne. They even washed it, waxed it, and put gas in it while we was signing the paperwork. Do YOUR HOMEWORK! Before I started to haggle prices, I found the same car advertised on Cars.com and another site (not Bart's) with the same VIN and everything-for a cheaper price than what Bart's had it advertised for. They did honor the cheaper price. Do also watch the paperwork. We had no trouble, got our title work so we could get the plates before the specified date. However, the loan company wanted us to add on stupid warranties that wouldn't of been worth the money for a cheaper interest rate. The money didn't compute, it was cheaper to get the higher interest rate and no warranty. Make sure to ask lots of questions!! We will come back again-as long as Corey is there!

Salesman Matt Hedley was outstanding
Our salesman, Matt Hedley, was outstanding. He took time with two elderly women and helped us find an inexpensive vehicle, when most dealerships and lots would not give us the time of day when we told them our budget.

Bart's Car Store Sold Me a Junk Car
I'm a single mother of two young kids. I don't know anything about cars. I went to Bart's to buy a Jeep for the winter snow. During the test drive I noticed a weird grinding noise coming from under the hood. I asked the salesman about it and he said it was just the ice on the ground hitting against the side of the car. The salesman assured me it wasn't anything serious. I bought the Jeep. Less than a week later the car died and we got stuck at the side of the road. I took it to the Jeep dealership and they told me the car had serious transmission and suspension issues. They said it wasn't safe to drive the car out of the garage. They said it was like the whole car was held together with duck tape. I had to spend over $3,000 to fix everything. Bart's wouldn't do anything about it and they said - and I quote - "it's your problem now". Bart's sales staff were nice before I bought the car but their attitude quickly changed after the sale. I WOULD NEVER BUY ANOTHER CAR FROM BART'S CAR STORE!!!

Great Service
Barts help us get finances for a car that our own bank couldn't . Thank you for the great car we bought from you. love it. I will let anyone who needs a car to come to Bart's Car Store in Ft. Wayne.

Attempted scam by Barts?
After seeing a car I was interested in on Bart's web site, I drove to the dealership. I was approached by a sailsman "Larry". I looked at the car and asked what the price was, and told him I would like to test drive. The salesman told me I would have to fill out a "credit application" before he would quote a price, or allow a test drive. He then tried to get me to fill out a form with all my personal informaton including my Social Security number. I told the salesman that if I needed to finance I would use my credit union. The salesman again refused to quote a price or allow a test drive until I turned over all my personal information. The staff didn't seem to have any interest in selling the car, only in getting my personal info. After being pressed for my Social Security number several times by multiple people I began to feel intimidated and left the dealership. I'm middle aged and have purchased many cars. I have never had a more unpleasant or disquieting experience trying to buy a car.

The salesman mentioned in the review is not an employee of Bart's Car Store. We have outside sales teams come in to handle the extra traffic that we encounter during our sales events. We monitor these extra salespeople and do not welcome back those who have not represented our business to the same standard that our awesome Bart's employees display on a daily basis. used suburban
Drove buy and saw a nice suburban. I test drove it and it ran great. I went bankrupr a few years back. They were able fo get me financed at 8percent not bad for my history. We made the first payment early and the bank gave us 25 dollars back into our savings account. That was a welcom suprise. We had a title issue, delay with the old bank that had a loan on it. They told me what they were going to do to fix it and they did it. We were only a half day late getting the new plate. Overall it went very well.
