Rating: 1 out of 5 stars Title: Misled, Overcharged, and Ignored – Do Your Homework Before Buying Here Review: I purchased a 2013 Nissan Altima from Cities Auto Sales in September 2023 for $13,000 at a 24% interest rate. I was told they knew “as much about the history of the car as I did.” That turned out to be false—the Carfax showed two previous accidents, none of which were disclosed. Within 10 days, I took the car to a certified mechanic who found 14 issues, including: • Worn brakes and bald tires • Loose tie rods • A broken control arm • A leaking transmission • Suspension problems • An aftermarket exhaust falling off I was also sold a warranty through the dealership, which charged me $100 to inspect the problem and another $100 to fix it. They gave me a repair order showing $1,400 in costs—but only charged $200, which raises serious questions about inflated pricing and the value of that “warranty.” When I returned to discuss refinancing—as they initially told me I could—they refused to help. They wouldn’t finance a $2,000 car on their lot but tried to push me into another $10,000 vehicle. The sales rep was more interested in my previous job at a treatment center than helping me resolve the issue. I submitted a formal complaint via email, complete with documentation, and the next day received a call where I was told, “We aren’t going to do anything with that.” I have the call recorded. I’ve since filed complaints with the Minnesota Attorney General, BBB, and Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. This dealership showed no accountability, no professionalism, and no regard for customer safety or fairness. If you’re considering buying here: • Get a Carfax • Get a mechanical inspection • Don’t rely on their promises • And absolutely get everything in writing

They are great on sales, not so great on customer service
They are great on sales, not so great on customer service AFTER the sale. Six months after purchasing my vehicle from them I needed one of my tires patched due to a nail puncture. The place I took it to called and informed me that the lug nuts had been cross-threaded with the lug stud, requiring the lug stud to be broken in order for the wheel to be removed and tire patched. I called Cities back wanting to see if I could bring the car back to them to undo what was done to the wheel and tire. Instead I was ditched of a call back twice, and the third time I called and spoke to a "manager" I was yelled at and gaslit, blaming me for not bringing it back to Cities for a tire rotation and blaming the new place because "they must not be smart" and accused them of stripping the lug nuts themselves, when this is the very first time I've visited the place. Now I'm out of a vehicle for the weekend, and out of approximately $150 it's gonna take to get it fixed. Customer service isn't just about the purchase, but the relationship you keep with customers AFTER THE SALE to keep them coming back. I'm sad to say that moving forward I will only go to them when my warranty needs to be considered in a repair, and I would not recommend Cities to anyone else.

I bought Durango, the tires were bald.
I bought Durango, the tires were bald. Tom said the tires had 30%tread left on them. Not true and with in a week I had to buy new tires and I brought it to a certified Dodge dealer to have the transmission looked at and they changed the tranny fluid. The mechanic said that the tranny fluid was black.

Jose was our sales rep that we worked with and he was amazing! Friendly and answered all of our questions. Dan was great from a financing side of things! Example of great service is there was something keyed into the side of the Jeep we purchased and I asked if they could take a look, within minutes they had stuff out to take care of it! I would recommend these guys!!

Ms Cole we explained to you at great length about the pre-approval process - We legally can't activate a pre-approval for anyone with any lender without putting you into their system as it is not an approval until we do that- That pulls your credit one time and doesn't affect you or your score in any way - without that we can't sell you a vehicle period - I'm sorry that you were confused about that and we did try to explain that to you but you would not accept that when we told you - we stayed here 3 hours past closing time to assist you getting into the Honda that you wanted so I don't understand how we did anything wrong, especially with the time element - As far as price transparency you said we weren't yet all of our vehicles have prices hanging in them and also on our website - lastly on your down payment concern we ran with what they told us upfront & resubmitted it to Capital One they immediately adjusted your down payment to the $500 you had planned on - Also at 830pm on a Saturday night we are extremely limited to our resources to do anything as most places are already closed - we're limited to a computer on the other end not a live person - from my 32 years of experience I don't think there is anything we could have done differently for you, I'm sorry you aren't happy but we did our part to the fullest extent but sometimes we just can't make people happy no matter what we do - we will let you know when your plates come in & best of luck with your Honda
