This entire experience was amazing from start to finish, Gerard was fantastic from the moment I sat down with him. He cares about his customers and it shows. Jeff in finance was one of the nicest funniest people I’ve ever met and the manager Paul was amazing as well. Would not go anywhere else to get a car.

My experience with the dealership and especially Gerard

My experience with the dealership and especially Gerard my sales person was a pleasure. Everything was up front and easy to understand. Communication as we got close to delivery was timely and very accurate. Gerard clearly explained all the preliminary details and then gave me a detailed mini course on how to operate the vehicle. Even when he was unavailable due to family issues Gerard was in phone contact and Alex stepped right in in to tie up the loose ends. I could not be happier with the experience, and so far with the car. I waited a long time but it was worth it.

BUYER BEWARE!

They are incredibly unethical! Overcharged for sale by adding freight and delivery plus $3K over sticker. Personally saw vehicles being delivered while we were onsite at the dealership. If you put down a credit card deposit, do not expect to get it back without numerous attempts. It's been 3 weeks and still no reimbursement. We paid 39,800+ for a $33,800 vehicle and when we changed our mind they offered us a trade in of $27,500. The sales person was decent, but the dealer itself is not interested in customer care or positive reviews. Asked to speak with the owner and the manager told us go find them ourselves. Refused to give us contact info. Offered a voucher for $200.00 to buy floors mats because we noticed they were missing on a new car? In terms of the refund deposit don't expect to get it without following up constantly. Overall, shady and overpriced!

Gerard was fantastic and helped me get into a 2022

Gerard was fantastic and helped me get into a 2022 Carnival, which was very hard to come by. He was honest is what cars he had available and helped me make the right choice for my family. He was patient and accommodating when I had my 3 month old with me trying to work out the deal details and eventually pick up the car. It was refreshing to have someone so helpful to work with after I had some not so great experiences with other dealerships…. I highly recommend Gerard and the Smithtown Kia team.
