Standard car dealership, money > customer

I wish I could tell you this dealership was different than the typical car dealership, but I can't. I wish I could tell you I didn't wait for an unnecessary 10 to 15 minutes to be told no after my first offer, but I can't. I wish I could tell you I didn't wait another 10 to 15 minutes before the sales manager (Phase 2) came to give a semi-reasonable counteroffer, but I can't. I wish could tell you that when we went to the finance guy (Phase 3) that he didn't try to sell me an extended warranty dropping the price 5 different times and FAILING to tell me that it included a $100 dollar deductible every time you get a repair, but I can't. I wish I could tell you that when I called the Dealership Manager about my concern about the finance guy that he did more than say, "I will address that with him", but I can't. I wish I could tell you this is the worst car dealership I have ever been to, but I can't. I have experienced worse, but Twin City Nissan is your standard stereotypical car dealership, makes the customer feel uncomfortable and make them more money.

Worst experience buying a car one could have

After the purchase kept receiving calls from Toyota financial saying I was behind on my payments. Funny as how the car was traded into Twin City. It was a clerical error on Twin City’s part which they refused to admit saying its Toyota’s fault and I didn’t know what I was talking about. How could this possibly be my fault? It’s why we pay a $500 so called document fee expecting that to be taken care of. I was then told it would be corrected however. Next month Toyota actually showed the payment as thirty days late!?? Another call another rude sales manager and I asked to speak with the GM. Never received a call from them and was treated poorly yet again as if I had done something wrong. Finally Toyota financial called Twin City and after three attempts got Twin City Nissan to send the required paperwork to them. Another month and the late payment was removed from my credit report. Unbelievable. If your wise you will take your business elsewhere!

said car had no problems, has multiple problems

Purchased a 2009 Civic with 50k miles, cash. Was told by two SALES REPS that there were no problems. Driving it home I noticed the CV joint was bad $400+ to fix. Weather stripping was dry rotted and came detached while driving, banging against the paint and window on the interstate leaving scratches. If my window was down it would have put out my eye. Had to pull over. Never again.

Great Customer Service!

Being that I am a very inexperienced car buyer, I was extremely nervous about the overall process of purchasing a dependable car. A few days before my experience at Twin City Nissan, I had a rather terrible experience with another used car dealership in Knoxville. The salesman at the other dealership was pushy, unorganized, and was not in any kind of hurry to get me in a car. At Twin City Nissan my experience was the total opposite. The salesman, Mike Jones, was enthusiastic and personable throughout the entire process. He listened to what I wanted and worked with me until he found the perfect car for my family. While the Business Manager, Bill Keeton, drafted the paperwork, Mr. Jones took the time to sit and talk with my fiance and I, and he provided a carfax without me having to ask for it. Bill Keeton was also great to work with. My credit is not that great, but he helped me to finance a car without judgement or negativity. I'm thankful that both employees at Twin City made this experience a great one, and I will definitely recommend this dealership to family and friends!

Tip-top Customer Service

I visited Twin City Nissan on a super hot day in June 2011. I was greeted warmly by two sales agents before I was completely out of my car. I was treated kindly and with respect and was not pressured to make a purchase. I was listened to and heard; great effort was exhausted to meet my needs; and I am convinced that my being there was important. Thank you for truly impeccable service. Vina Clark
