At first, I was hesitant about going to Auto Place Inc.

At first, I was hesitant about going to Auto Place Inc. due to the past reviews that people have written. I decided to take a chance with them, which was the best decision. When I arrived, I showed them the three trucks I wanted to look at, and they handed me the keys to them. They let me take my time looking at them and test-driving each truck. The team was not sitting over me like most dealers do. If I had questions about something, I went into the office to ask, and they answered everything I asked. I could take as long as I wanted and did not feel pressured to buy a truck from them. At the end of the day, I bought a 2015 Ram from them. The one thing that came up after I purchased the truck and was driving it home was that I started getting a vibration in the front end when applying the brakes. When I got home, I checked the brakes out and saw they were worn and needed replacement. I knew I bought the truck “AS IS,” but I still sent them an email about the issue, and the following day, when they were open, they called me and said they were sorry to hear about the issue and we wanted to take care of it for me. They did not have to consider that because I bought it “AS IS.” So, I drove it back to them, and not only did they replace the front brakes and rotors for me, but they also replaced the back ones. That is fantastic customer service, and I would recommend Auto Place Inc. to anyone looking for a used vehicle. The one negative thing I have for them is that they do not offer a CARFAX report on the vehicle.

Buy truck

Made offer on internet and offer was accepted. Drove 200 miles to buy and was informed the vehicle was already sold. Don't reccommend dealing with this company.

You claimed you emailed us on Wednesday. You then drove down the following Saturday without calling us (4th of July out of all days). When you arrived, we told you the vehicle was a pending sale. You got mad and belligerent. You kept saying we accepted your offer via email. When asked of you to produce the email or the name of the person who accepted your offer, you couldn't (fun fact: I'm the only one that has access to respond to emails and I haven't responded to anyone in the last two months because we've been so busy). If you were to have called ahead of time, we would've told you it was a pending sale. If was still available, as a courtesy we would hold it until you arrive from out of town to avoid the situation you experienced. We would never want to make you or anyone else drive down to be disappointed. Contrary to your suggestion of not dealing with us, we recommend our customers call before heading down for a vehicle, especially if you're from a distance to avoid the same predicament as you experienced.

Read the reviews! They don’t deliberately mess with people. Before buying my son a F150 from them I researched and visited a lot of dealerships. My husband and I were very pleased with them. All the bad reviews are people either not doing business with them or don’t understand that it’s a used vehicle. Lily insisted for us to take it to a mechanic. We did just that. Sure it needed some items like any used vehicle but we ended up buying it. Would recommend them in a heartbeat!

Terrible way to run a business

I recently had the displeasure of going to this business. I wanted to purchase a Mercedes Benz CL they had for sale. I called the dealership and was told by a really nice gentleman that he needed a certain amount of money down. So I went to the dealership with the money for the car only to be told by a young woman there a different price. I didn't care about the money I wanted the car. She told me to go online and do a credit application. No problem with that. I did it and I didn't hear anything from them for a week. So I called the dealership back and was given a number to another guy. I called him and left a voicemail and I haven't heard anything from them yet. It's been a month. I am highly disappointed with the manner in which I was treated. I really wanted that car. Oh well...

Sometimes our finance manager does get busy, is with a customer, on the other line, uses the restroom, is eating or even forgets to follow up. After all, he is human. That being said let me point something out: He won't miss out on an opportunity to sell a vehicle. He prioritizes the deals he can get approved and then works on the one's that might take a little more effort. If he did get you approved, you would've been the first person he called. You are more than welcome to contact our dealership again if you feel like we haven't responded to you in a timely manner. It seems foolish; if not outright utterly unbelievable to even consider you are still truly waiting on a response from us. And as such, decided to write a one-star review instead of picking up the phone and calling our dealership. If this is the approach you give to purchasing a vehicle then you might be waiting to purchase one for a long time. In my opinion, that would be a terrible way to shop for a vehicle.

Love our Navigator

I had been looking for months for a 2088 Lincoln Navigator. Auto Place had the one i was looking for. Chocolate White, fully loaded and under 100k miles. Mark took it home so I could come to his home on Sunday morning to see it. Mark is very professional and we made a deal in his own driveway on a handshake. picked the car up Saturday and we love it.

Auto Place

Integrity, Honesty, Character??? I know these are not usually associated with a used car dealership. That is why I was amazed by Mark and his staff at AutoPlace. Like most places He gave a 30 day warranty, but looked me in the eye and assured my He would take care of any problems to make sure my van was what I expected. 3 Weeks in my engine light came on. I took it to Mark and the test showed a bad O2 sensor. He gave me a loaner car while the 02 sensor was replaced. No charge. After the 30 day period was up, I noticed I didn't have reverse lights. I call Mark, he says bring it in. He gives me a loaner car while he has the reverse lights fixed. No Charge!!! Then after 60 days my engine light comes on again and van is running a little rough. Once again I call Mark and he says bring it in. Repeated misfire on one cylinder. Once again he gives me a loaner car and pays for a full tune up at no charge to me. I know approximately how much these repairs run and these were not cheap repairs. I am 58 years old and have never had someone go out of their way to make sure I was taken care of like Mark, Lilly, and his staff at Autoplace. Highly recommended. ---Mark Burkett

Do not buy anything from this place

We bought a used truck from this place and were told the brakes had just been repaired. Just eleven days later the brakes went out and my daughter was almost killed. The place should be avoided at all costs. Unethical people and the worst caricature of used car dealers.

Let's go over the facts you deliberately left out! (a) Your daughter was 17 years of age with minimal driving experience (b) The police report indicated she ran a red light causing the accident at an intersection. Nothing was noted that was about the brakes failing (c) Brakes do not suddenly fail. They show symptoms before suddenly failing. If what you claim is true, car manufacturers would be responsible for a multitude of accidents (d) We actually offered to fix your truck because we felt for you and your daughter. I could empathize with your situation because I have a wife, mother and sister. Regardless of the circumstances, I felt like offering help was the ethical thing to do (e) You declined and suggested you are a Harvard educated attorney and we have to take back the damaged vehicle and pay you $10,000 because you settled $6000 with the other driver due to you not having insurance on your truck. (The irony of an attorney not abiding by the law by failing to have insurance on their own truck is fascinating!) (f) When we declined to do so, you berated me specifically stating "all you car dealers are one below rapists and child molesters" (g) When I rebutted with "all you attorneys are one above rapists and child molesters" (treat others how you want to be treated) you became livid and suggested you would go to the media with this story (h) You ACTUALLY went to NBC5 news. LOL. They contacted me. Once I told them our side and what you left out they decided not to pursue the story anymore due to your version's frivolity. Ultimately, we are ethical people. We do not deliberately do anyone wrong. If you try to paint a picture of us as being unethical by omitting the truth, then we will paint a picture of you by revealing the truth.

2004 chevy 2500

Mark and his staff were awesome! My son found this dealership while being stationed in Omaha ne. Mark went over the whole vehicle with him with pics. I flew in from Denver picked it up and drove it to Omaha. The truck was just as described. Thanks for everything we will recommend you to others.
