Write a reviewWorst experience of my life!
My experience with Silver State Imports had to be "one" of the most racists encounters I've had in my life! I walked in their lobby at 5:43 p.m this evening (they closed at 6pm) to inquire about purchasing a vehicle I'd seen on their website, after standing there waiting to be greeted (as they watched me from their office for about 3 mins) the salesman, Bob Banie then walks out with a disgusted look on his face and said "we're closed" and I then asked, "if they closed at 6pm" and he said "yes" and I said to him "well its not 6pm yet" and he said, "yea but, we're closed" and then he walked back into his office and left me standing there. So I walked out the door to tell my husband about my experience with the salesman. I then see Bob by the gate entrance outside , so I walked up to him to get his and his mananger's information so that I could file a complaint on Monday with his manager and he proceeds to give me his information/card and tell me in a "condescending" tone that they had to close early because of an emergency (not once did he apologize for his actions). He then aggressively asked for my name and when I gave it to him, he acted as though he couldnt pronounce it properly (which lets me know, he really didnt care nor did he respect me as a person!) it felt as though he was making fun of my name. I then walked off, got in my vehicle and left the premises. I understand that we're living in some trying times with racial inequality and all of the "unfairness" that's shown towards African Americans each day, however when I walk into a place of business to "make a purchase" I expect to get the same level of treatment as my peers. It shouldn't matter if I'm a man, a woman, black or white, I should be greeted and treated fairly. I really hope things begin to get better in this world but I must say, its not looking promising! No one deserves to be treated like I was treated today.

If buying online and can’t view car....stay away !
Had Bob Banic do walk-around while on phone together. Said 2012 BMW had a few cracks on front bumper. Shipped car to Fl. Arrived with 5 dents. Three someone tried touching up the paint, but dents were still there. The two between trunk and conv roof roof that were huge and looked like a bike rack had dented them when trunk was opened. These dents did not happen from shipping. Carfax said no accidents but you can see where there was work done to the trunk area and even duct tape marks on each side of trunk that must have been used to hold trunk lid down. When you buy a car online, you are trusting the honesty and integrity of the dealership. STAY AWAY !!

Great expereince; so willing to help!!
Bob Banic was my saving grace trying to buy my new car! I was in another state and he was willing to help me in any way possible to make the buying process as easy as possible. I highly recommend this dealer. I love my new Volvo and it was such a reasonable price!

Tom Gomez was great! Quick and Painless!
I was looking for a used vehicle for about 4 months. I am a newly divorced mother of a growing 4 year old boy and needed something bigger with less miles, but still wanted the BMW experience I am used to. My father does my maintenance so I sent him first to check out a 2012 X3 and drive it. He gave the okay, so I went up and drove it and signed the paperwork for my new vehicle! It was so easy and painless and the team at Silver State was so kind to my son. I appreciate them all, and especially Tom for being quick and easy to work with! Thanks guys! The X3 is doing great!

Loving my car!
I had been shopping around for a while for a car and I came across a great selection of cars at Silver State. I called and spoke with Tom Gomez and when I went up there he showed me a variety of vehicles. I finally decided on the Audi Q7, which Im very happy with. Everyone in the dealership was very positive and helpful during my experience. I will definitely be back when Im ready to buy another car.

Sealing the deal!
I had called the dealership and I began working with Tom Gomez. He helped tremendously in the purchase of my Honda Pilot. Trying to get financed was a little tricky for myself however Tom and Jeff were great at getting this deal done the best way possible. I would definitely recommend this dealership to my peers and family.

Women beware; you're a lesser-class citizen.
While I was waiting for someone to show me the vehicle, the 'good ol' boys' began suggesting who I should talk to as "the better man;" he's the better man, that one's the better man, etc. At first, I thought it was in good fun and played along. Then I'm assigned Tom Gomez who escorts me to the Chevy and I give it a once-over, knowing what to listen for/to notice. I took a test drive; Tom said he "HAD" to ride with me. Unfamiliar with the congested area, I told him I wanted to take it where I could really test its handling; a mostly clear parking lot, etc. He putt-putted me around a couple of blocks and took a lengthy call while pointing his finger. A bit perturbed, I ignored his last directive and pulled off into a lot which he objected to. I told him, "I feel like you're driving me in circles at 35mph. I want to test the car." He looked unhappy but was STILL on the phone (I wasn't very important, I just needed a chaperone). I did some of 'my thing,' and asked him to direct me back. He FINALLY ended the call because we were close to the dealership. When we parked, I asked about the sunroof because it closed differently from my Saturn's. As though he thought me stupid, he literally began heatedly yelling over me while I tried to explain my confusion. I had to tell him to stop yelling at me, that I was sitting right beside him. He backed off and lowered his tone. I asked a few questions, told him I liked the car and left. Two days later I went back with my 30yr. old son. I wanted his opinion and to get the car on the highway (less traffic this day). Suddenly, no one "HAS" to ride with us. Hmm. Afterwards, we're in Tom's office discussing issues with the vehicle and how SS was going to address them. Tom acted like I wasn't there, constantly talking to and looking at my son who became so uncomfortable with this he kept looking down at his phone. I finally said to Tom, "Hey, look at me when you're talking, I'M the one buying the car." Tom looked embarrassed and tried harder to address me instead. I would have dropped this place in response to its employee's pervasive chauvinistic mind-set but I wanted to buy the car, not the dealership. Later, I emailed Tom asking about the progress of the repairs and for an itemization of the $498 dealer fees. He responded about the repairs but blew off the itemization, not addressing it except to tell me the out-the-door cost. I emailed again with the same request: to please itemize the fee (justify it, I'll pay it right?). It's been almost a week and I haven't heard from him again. I was going to make a CASH offer, close to what they wanted, but not now. Besides the clear sexism, their dealer fees are totally BOGUS, can't be justified, and is just free money on TOP of their initial profit. I know dealers do this but it SHOULD be against the law because it's extortion. It's like me saying, "I'll happily sell you this $10 bracelet, but it's going to cost $510 because I put it on the table in front of your face." Lol!
