Great service experience

Ed Palomeno in the service department was extremely professional, and most importantly, Kept me informed throughout my service experience. I usually have anxiety dealing with service department based on past experiences. My car has less then 10,000 miles on it. So when getting a warning light, and message that said, drive train malfunction, drive moderately, and contact service. I was extremely nervous. I called fields and got Ed. He made an appointment for me the next day. When I arrived to Fields, he had a loaner waiting for me, and said "go grab some breakfast on us, and I will call you as soon as we diagnose the problem. I went and got some food from the chef they have on duty every day for breakfast, and lunch. I got into my loaner, and was off to work. By the time I pulled into my office parking lot, he was already calling me to tell me I needed to replace a solenoid, and it would take a day to get the part. What I liked most was he kept calling me to keep me up to date with everything. He called me when the part came in. Then he called me to tell me the car was being worked on, and finally that it was done. feels good to know that he cares about the fact that the person on the other end is probably worried about his car and the time frame of when I would get it. I will always get my car serviced at fields, and Ed Palomeno is my guy. Thanks Ed

Jerry Marichal in service has treated me fantastic on my two trips in. I have a closer be dealer to my home and office but I'll drive the additional 20 minutes because I know he'll take care of me.

Christian did a great job of fixing my car. He kept me advised along the way and provided a great loaner. He is another reason I only would deal with Fields.

Great Experience

Fields BMW Service is always a great experience. They do what is need (only what is needed), are timely, professional and cost conscious. I usually order a loaner car. The process is easy and efficient. The dealership amenties of drink, food and lounge are wonderful and the free car wash is the icing on the cake!

Extremely professional service

I was very impressed with the thoroughly exemplary and professional customer service at this dealership. My service advisor was Ed Palomeno, and he was very proactive in keeping my vehicle in top shape. He was very informative and courteous, and made the entire experience as pleasant as possible. Overall, a 10 out of 10.

The Best Service

The best service in town. When I drop my car with Jerry Marichal, I know he will take care of it as it is his own car. Jerry has been taking care of my cars for the past 8 years. When I call him for any appointment, he knows what exactly needs to be done and the time frame that I need the car back. He has never failed to impress me, his quality of work and professionalism is exceptional. He is working with a great team and I recommend him and Fields to all my family and friends as I did and still do.

Women don't need 6-cylinder engines

I walked into Fields BMW this weekend planning to test drive a 428i or 435i convertible. The man who greeted me told me I didn't need to test drive the 435 because it has a 6-cylinder engine, and (honest to god, this is what he said out loud), "the 4 is probably good enough for a woman." I've never been confronted with such blatant sexism before. It was a horrible experience. That guy should be fired. Do not spend your money at Fields!

Terrible service experiences - NOT recommended

I made the mistake of purchasing a BMW X3 from Fields Northfield several years ago. The car has underperformed for a BMW - NOT quality engineering. It has been in the shop more times than I can count. Everything has gone wrong. And the service has been the most disappointing I have ever had with any car dealer. They routinely overcharge anytime they touch the vehicle. Be prepared to spend thousands and thousands on repairs. While other auto specialists offer FREE diagnostics by hooking up computers in today's world, BMW charged OVER $500 just to identify the problem with a Service Engine light. (Read online that a do-it-yourselfer fixed the same problem in 30 minutes and the parts were half the cost.). So it took a BMW technician 5 hours to diagnose the same problem and another several hours to fix it. Sure.... NOT trustworthy!
