This dealer falsely advertises its prices.

This dealer falsely advertises its prices. My wife and I went to buy a vehicle they showed for 30K but they would not sell it to us for that price. They will not sell you a car for their advertised price and they will not offer you the advertised interest rate. This sales department is shady. I wish I'd read the reviews here before stepping on their lot. Save yourself the grief and buy anywhere else.

This dealer falsely advertises its prices. My wife and I went to buy a vehicle they showed for 30K but they would not sell it to us for that price. They will not sell you a car for their advertised price and they will not offer you the advertised interest rate. This sales department is shady. I called Sound Ford to confirm the sale price on their

I called Sound Ford to confirm the sale price on their website, before I decide to come in and make a purchase on the vehicle I wanted. The sales manager Mike was awkwardly shady and would refuse to confirm the sale price listed on their OWN website…. He said to me “I’m not going to discuss pricing over the phone or email. If you want it, come in and we can discuss price”. I told home I just wanted to confirm their site price to make sure it was accurate before I came in and bought it, yet he still refused. Very awkward, shady and very bad sales/customer service. I just hung up and will refuse to ever go there. Sounds like a tactic to raise the price when someone shows up, after you’ve waisted your own time/gas to get there. I’ve never experienced this with a dealership…. If you’re reading this review today just go to their pricing online, call to confirm and you’ll see what I mean. They also seem to be showing inaccurate low pricing on car gurus/carfax. I was in the market for a Ford Maverick Hybrid.

⭐ 1 Star – Extremely Disappointed with Customer Service We were ready to purchase a vehicle and trade in our Ford Explorer. Yes, there was an issue with the title—but we worked directly with the Department of Licensing and even corrected it on Carfax. We called Sound Ford three times in one day trying to finalize the deal. Despite making it clear we were serious buyers and just 5 minutes away, there was zero follow-up. Long story short: after multiple attempts and a complete lack of urgency or customer care, they lost our business. We ended up driving a little further to Pierre Ford in Lynnwood, and we’re so glad we did. Everything was handled in one visit, and we drove off in our new vehicle the same day—Explorer sold, paperwork done, and treated like valued customers. If you’re looking for a dealership that actually wants your business, don’t waste your time with Sound Ford. Their lack of follow-through made it clear they didn’t care. Again—we called three times. Unacceptable.

Wasted my time with a bait and switch.

Wasted my time with a bait and switch. I'm surprised by the positive reviews both here and on other sites about Sound Ford. I have had the opportunity to work with great dealerships. This was not one of them and Sound Ford can join the list of disappointing dealerships that use old-school sales tactics. They gave a price proposal that included a $3k discount by phone. I also completed a trade-in form and got a KBB cash offer from Sound Ford. Upon arriving in person, I was very clear with what I was looking for to make the deal happen. Unfortunately, they changed the numbers drastically and did not honor the KBB cash offer they sent. Instead, they reduced it by over $4k. An hour of me repeating what I was looking for, the most they budged was $2k on the KBB cash offer, which was still $2k under market for trade-in value. As a side note, working with the sales rep Cece was great, and pricing is out of her control. This review is a reflection of her colleagues.

Been shopping for a 2024 Maverick for about a month

Been shopping for a 2024 Maverick for about a month online. Had some other contacts with Ford dealers in the region. The Sound Ford folks very quickly offered one with features I wanted and even got it below MSRP. Made an appointment, paid cash, drove away in about an hour and a half. Good customer service, very considerate folks. In my case, I paid cash, but they seemed well set up to discuss financing if needed and trade-ins. No last second changes, added fees, delivered what we all agreed on. Kinda what buyers want so they can figure out what they can get. Also compare this review to what Pierre Ford in Lynnwood offered (after they knew what I requested and would pay cash: $2000 above offered price if I didn't finance with a "preferred lender" and have a trade in. Plus, the cars they wanted to show had all kinds of stuff I didn't ask for. Give Sound Ford a try, they seem very straight forward if you want a car. Thanks.

I have two major issues with this car

I have two major issues with this car dealership: Exterior Detail Damage I paid for an exterior detail, and when I got my car back, I noticed a couple of chips in the paint. I immediately reached out to someone at the dealership to express my concerns. After just one email exchange, they completely stopped responding. I had to escalate the issue by contacting Ford directly and opening a case with an agent, as this dealership has done absolutely nothing to help resolve the problem. Neglect During Warranty Period I purchased my car here and have always had my services done at this location. Each time, I was told my car was in great shape, with everything showing "green" on their inspections. About a year and a half ago, I started noticing issues with my car, including the engine shaking when stopped and jerking when placed in reverse. I repeatedly asked the service team to have a mechanic check the engine, but I was always told there was nothing wrong. Fast forward to after my drivetrain and engine warranty expired—suddenly, I received a note stating there were now multiple issues with my car. I find it very suspicious that these problems surfaced immediately after the warranty expired, despite me asking several times for them to investigate while it was still covered. Now, the dealership simply shrugs it off, saying it's no longer under warranty and not their responsibility. Save yourself the frustration and look for another dealership. This place does not prioritize customer care or accountability.

As I shopped for a Mach E, other dealerships showed me how Sound Ford double counts the available Ford incentives so they can advertise incredibly low prices that they won't actually meet. They refused multiple requests to send a deal sheet and just kept asking me to come in. I would have paid the advertised price (because it was so ridiculously low with those double-counted incentives), but I wanted to see that in writing before making the trip to Renton. Three other dealerships sent me deal sheets, and I went with one that was open and transparent in the process.

I contacted sound ford on or around June 5 to order a v6

I contacted sound ford on or around June 5 to order a v6 2.7l ford ranger. I sent them the build and they said that they had placed the order but did not supply me with any confirmation that the order had been placed and said that I would hear from Ford. In the intervening two months I made numerous inquiries to Sound ford with no reply. There has been no follow-up. It is clear they never input the order. Why they would lie about making the order is mystifying. If they did not want to do so then just say so and save up both a lot of time and trouble. If this is their attitude towards new customers, I cannot see how they stay in business. I would strongly suggest contacting other dealers for new vehicle orders. Sound Ford has failed on every level.
