Absolutely horrible experience at Sound Ford in Renton. I came in seriously interested in purchasing a Ford Lightning and already had my trade-in appraised elsewhere for over $40,000 before even walking through their doors. Right off the bat, their manager tried offering me only $30,000 for my vehicle. It immediately felt disrespectful and insulting. What made it worse was the attitude throughout the entire interaction. The manager came across as condescending and dismissive, constantly trying to justify the lowball offer with questionable statements about my car’s value while also claiming the Ford Lightning wouldn’t depreciate badly because it was discontinued. The whole conversation felt more like being talked down to instead of being treated like a serious buyer. After leaving frustrated, I went directly to Bowen Ford, and the difference in customer service was night and day. They immediately valued my trade-in at $43,000 with no games, no disrespect, and no unnecessary negotiation. It showed they actually understood the market and respected that I knew the value of my vehicle. I ended up buying my Ford Lightning from Bowen Ford, and I’ll gladly continue giving them my business moving forward. Sound Ford completely lost a customer because of their poor attitude, lowball tactics, and lack of professionalism.

I had a mixed experience at this dealership. The sales assistant, Natasha, was fantastic and very helpful. Unfortunately, the sales manager ruined the experience with poor tactics. Dishonest finance department. Added over 10K to the agreed sales price and increase the number of payments to hide the increase. If you buy from them go over every single number or they will try to pull a fast one on you. Most dishonest automobile finance that I have ever encountered.

I have never in my 10 years of buy cars been treated like this by a car dealership over the phone by a “manager”. I called in to confirm the price of a used car, the first guy (I believe he was just a regular sales worker) was normal, gave me the main info, miles, price, basic car history, etc. I told him that I was thinking about driving over there to see the car and have a possible day/time that I would drive there since it’s 2/3 hours away. Tell me why the “manager” calls me back and repeats the whole convo again but this time with an extremely rude, argumentative, and snarky attitude. Wouldn’t even confirm the price, just pushing for me to drive there and then talk about it. When I inform him that I don’t live nearby and it’s a 2+ hour long drive, with gas prices super high, he dismisses it and says that people never sold a car without seeing it first. 1) who said I was immediately going to buy the car at the drop of a hat? It’s a big investment so shopping around is bound to happen 2) what kind business acts like that over the phone to a potential customer? I suspect that this kind of behaviour is being allowed due to some kind of training? Other reviews has led me to assume that. I hope the other employees aren’t having a hard time working there. I ended up buying a fairly new, used car within my budget at a different dealership near me.

Bait and switch. Call on Wednesday to reserve a unit for test drive on Friday. I live 6 hours away. The unit was priced well, low miles and great condition. 5 minutes before my arrival they called and said the truck sold and want to tell me about the other options they have. Dishonesty is a really bad trait for a used car dealership. Lots of other options, use them!

I asked for a new truck they said NO that they had to buy it back and they sent me a buyback contract the next day 24 hours later, now I'm seeking legal council and all of a sudden they want to give me a new truck per general manager.
