I just bought a 2022 Honda CRV Touring Hybrid from Mike Jahangir of Headquarter Honda in Clermont, FL. Mike was very well educated on this vehicle and explained everything this car has to offer. He was so kind and informative and took the time and patience to explain and answer all my questions. I’m a retired manager and have dealt with many employees in the past and Mike rates exceptional. Mike is a great asset to Headquarter Honda and the Honda Corporation. I’ll return to Mike for any future car purchases and will refer Mike to our friends and relatives.

Dealer made me sign a document for a credit application...
Dealer made me sign a document for a credit application in order to hold the vehicle for me. I told them I would be financing the vehicle with Navy Federal Credit Union. They told me that the paperwork would not be used to do a credit check inquiry. That the paperwork was ONLY used to hold the vehicle along with 500 dollars. Next thing I know, I have 4 credit check inquiries on my credit report that I did not authorize. Either they lied to me purposely or they were negligent and incompetent.

Mr. Morgera, we apologize and apologized for the miscommunication. As policy when taking a deposit to hold a vehicle is to have the deposit, completed credit application and agreed upon terms. When the vehicle comes in, we run the credit. If that process was not explained to Paul and you at the time of your initial visit, again, we apologize. We apologize that Andy did not communicate to Tom before Tom ran the credit report and it came back that the bureau was frozen. Tom asked Andy to call you about frozen credit and only at that time was it relayed to Tom that Paul had secured lending from Navy Federal Credit Union. Therefore, you can see how unintentional it was to have run the credit. We did not lie to Paul or you on purpose nor were we “negligent and incompetent” with purpose or malice. It was plainly a mistake and accident to which we have apologized to your wife and you. As Shakespeare wrote, “To err is human, to forgive is divine.” The Headquarter Team
Ok. So you say it was an error. Let us say that is true. What did you do to remedy the situation? NOTHING. I spoke to various people at the time and no one had any idea how to fix the situation nor give me an alternative. The dealership should have called the banks it had solicited the credit checks from and have them call the credit bureaus to fix my credit. I am certain I am not the first person to have this happen to. There should be a way to fix it, but nobody at the dealer cared to look into it. Not once have I gotten a call back to see what could be done. You may even call one of the credit fix companys that knows the ins and outs of fixing peoples credit. Just an idea. But I shouldn't be coming up with the ideas, you should. Listen, I have a credit rating over 800 and I have it that high because I take care of it. Whats a few points off? Sure, you can say that credit checks only take a few points off, but that is for me to decide on my credit. I repeat, when I spoke to Andy, I told him either 5 or 6 times that I didn't want credit with you. And I understand that it wasn't his fault. Whoever he gave the paperwork to is the one that erred. My issue is that not one person at the dealership helped me in fixing the situation nor gave me alternatives. I have family members that have bought 4 cars in the last 3 years from you. I doubt they will return.
