    What a nightmarish journeyi have had with McCarthy. Where to begin. I original bought a used Traverse from them in 2012. It was a good car for about 3... months and then it started having ac problems. I took it in expecting the warranty i purchased with the car to cover this. Suprise suprise it was not. The warrant only covered a small amount. I payed over $400 to fix a car i just bought. 4 months go by and the ac goes out again. I go back to McCarthy and these clowns tell me i will have to pay another $400 to get it fixed. Im so mad at this point i tell them to get me out of the car and get me in something different. They took this opportunity to put me upside down in a 2011 cruz. That im still paying for that i bought back in 2013. So the ac goes out in my cruz in the beginningof July this year and come to find out the extended warrantyi bought also expired in the beginningof 2018. So i call McCarthy to see if they can help me out and work with me on getting it fixed. I was met with hostility from there service adviser and used car manager when i asked for any kind of price break. In fact the used car manager said he would lok into it and call me back..... he never did. The only quote i received from McCarthy to fix my ac wad for $800. I found a great local shop AV Transmission, that not only fixed my ac but changed my serpentine belt, and changed my oil all for $680. Point of the story DONT BUY FROM McCarthy in any capacity.

    Follow up from below: I contacted Karl who immediately spoke with the group we had dealt with in Olathe and he stated, some education was performed. Also,... he set us up with McCarthy Chevy in Lee's Summit where the scratches were taken care of and they found a nail in our tire and plugged. The customer service at the LS location was fantastic and we really appreciate Karl's help in rectifying the situation. I would do business with the LS location but still very leery of the Olathe location. We appreciate Karl's concern and dedication to making "things right". BUYER BEWARE! by AW from Lee's Summit, MO June 26, 2018 BUYER BEWARE! During the buying process, they were great! We came in late afternoon on Saturday so we had to come back Monday to finish everything up. Since the paperwork had been signed on Saturday, Monday their attitude changed. I asked Jamie ("TJ") to have the truck detailed since it had been covered in Midwest dirt when we first saw it Saturday and he seemed annoyed--literally huffed. After they cleaned it, we noticed MULTIPLE scratches on the back tailgate and complained, asking for money back or anything to compensate for the scratches. Jamie disappeared, making another sale, so I grabbed Chris who was nice enough to be the middle man asking manager Larry if they could do anything for us. Larry did not have the "guts" [I used another word] to come out and tell us himself that he would not do anything for us. Not even a free oil change or anything. I left HIGHLY disappointed. Ran into Jamie in the parking lot who asked, "What's going on?" as he was walking with his new sale, I said, "We're done here. This has been horrible" and he walks away. WALKS AWAY! WOW! I waited to hear from Jamie via telephone before writing this review but he has not called to check up as to what was wrong. You all got your sale and completely ignored us afterwards--SHADY customer "care" and we will NEVER be back! Back to Lexus we go where they know how to treat people after spending thousands of dollars--and no, you don't need to be a millionaire to buy from them.     Monty Knight took the time to find me the Equinox I wanted. The whole process was so easy This is my third car from Monty. He is super and what makes... me keep coming back to McCarthy in Olathe

    Terry Norris was our salesman and he was wonderful to work with! If every car dealership had a salesman like him I wouldn't mind car shopping. He... was very respectful and he got us right to the point and was very helpful when it came to the buying. We were in and out! I would definitely buy another vehicle from Terry.

    I had already completed my homework searching for a used truck when I walked in and met my salesman Heath McRoy. We clicked from the moment I met him.... I told him what I was looking for and he advised me one was due in any day. When it arrived, Heath notified me and I went in for the test ride. We agreed on the price for their truck and gave me a fair deal on my trade-in. I then was sent to finance to get the paperwork done. So far I like what I bought. I have been a customer of McCarthy Chevrolet for about 20 years. I am a satisfied customer.

    Two sets of grandparents and a granddaughter went to this dealer looking for a good used car. Our granddaughter attends college and needed reliable transportation.... We worked with Jamie Harrigan who took a great deal of time answering our many questions. Early afternoon we had agreed on a price and our granddaughter drove away with a good used car that she loved. The paperwork after the price was agreed to seemed to take a little longer than we anticipated but..... overall we were pleased with the salesman and the customer service we all received.

    I brought my car in for a simple issue that was fixed under warranty. I brought up a couple other small items too such as the PSI sensors on my tires... needed to be reset and that a windshield wiper that McCarthy Chevrolet had installed was not working...I was happy with everything except the claim I received on my courtesy multi point inspection that the wipers were tested, inspected, and found to be in good working shape - when in reality only half of it was actually on the glass. I followed up with the team on this but the only response I received was 'well you weren't invoiced for that'. It would have been a fine answer if they had said honestly forgotten to look at it or just hadn't looked at it, but giving me a write up of their multi point inspection saying that it was tested, examined, and in good shape wasn't what I wanted to hear and leads me to have a lot of trouble trusting or believing what is happening in the service center.

    Our sales person didn't explain a lot to us he just assumed we were going to buy the car. We wanted to shop around but ended up getting a good deal on... the car. The car runs great! And the problems I did have they fixed right away. All I recommend is not to be so pushy and rude when we say we want to shop around. Other than that good buying experience.
