Avoid McCarthy at All Costs
I bought a 2019 Silverado Trail Boss in 2020 from McCarthy. Part of the deal was to include a free loaner every time I bring the truck in for service. But every time I request a loaner, I'm told none are available. So that was money wasted. As for service, I've never had a problem with the work they do, but the process is deplorable. I always make an APPOINTMENT for service, yet when I arrive for my scheduled appointment, I'm told it'll be a 2-3 hour wait! A 2 hour wait for a freaking oil change? Especially when I made an appointment? UNACCEPTABLE! Had I not been locked into a certain number of "free" oil changes when I bought the truck (another raw deal from McCarthy) I'd take my truck elsewhere. I have tried to give McCarthy the benefit of the doubt numerous times, but the story is always the same. I simply cannot give this dealership an acceptable rating. My advice...GO ELSEWHERE.

In the running for worst chevy dealer.
Missed and had to go back and repair multiple items that they missed. Forgot to refill my transmission fluid and they have no interest in owning their mistake and fixing the issue that is costing me thousands of dollars.

Sold me an illegal vehicle
Sold me a car w a lien. Have been to DMV and McCarthy still hasn't gotten the lien fixed yet even though they said they did. Terrible. Would not recommend. Complete waste of time.

McCarthy Chevrolet My Only GO TO for anything Car
Pedro, is one of the best service advisors I have worked with in my 15 years with McCarthy. He is very helpful, straight forward, and keeps me in the loop. He always responds in a timely manor and does not try to sell me things I don't need. Because of the service team at McCarthy Chevy, I recommend all my friends and family use them for service and buying vehicles.

I don’t think my money was green enough
I am a credit challenge after being in a bad financial situation from my previous marriage. The first visit 6 months ago was wonderful!! I ended up not going thru with my sale. Recently I came back to get a vehicle and felt like I was an irritation they were forced to deal with. I’m wondering if my saleswoman can even crack a smile. I was forced to Jump thru hoops to get bank approval but I did it. I really needed a car so I bit my tongue. I will not solicite there business again. I felt like they couldn’t accommodate or even wanted to help me. It was obvious my difficult schedule was one they had no extra time for. They need to be out the door on time. No staying late to take money for a car sale. The saleswoman had another salesman call me 3 times to check my location status coming there to finish the paperwork. They rushed so fast I had to remind the credit guy to run my card for the remaining down payment. Maybe if I’d been purchasing that new corvette my money would have been green enough and I’d been offered even a free bottle of water.

Avoid McCarthy Chevrolet in Olathe
My salesman was friendly and personable. The service I have received since my purchase has been less than stellar. After purchasing, there have been problems that should have been caught by their advertised multi point inspection. I have owned the vehicle about three months and took it into the Lees Summit branch (where I have been getting my Chevrolets serviced for 15 years (and have recommended to friends and family) earlier today to get my first oil change and was told that the rear axle has been leaking for some time. I called the Olathe dealership and they told me that there was nothing they could do. I have purchased my last few vehicles from McCarthy and am extremely disappointed. The Lees Summit branch has been helpful to work with but with my recent troubles I can not recommend the Olathe dealership.
