On October 24, 2024, I had new rear brakes installed and

On October 24, 2024, I had new rear brakes installed and during the installation they determined I needed a new rear axle seal and rear carrier bearings. The entire bill came to $1,830. I have driven my vehicle 2300 miles and took my truck to another facility to replace the front brakes. In the process, the service rep at the new facility determined I needed to replace the rear brakes as well due to warped rotors (they are sending picture of the same). Of course, Preferred's "disclaimer of warranties" relieves them of any responsibility. I have heard the Preferred dealerships tend to find "additional" problems when they service vehicles. True example: They told me I needed new brakes two years before I actually required them during an oil change. It also appears they use poor quality replacement parts as well. I will never use a Preferred facility again for any automotive work or the purchase of another vehicle.

Was able to schedule service timely, they diagnose and communicate the issues to get authorization and repaired in a timely fashion. I would recommend for your Duramax servicing needs.

Wheels were not properly torqued.

Wheels were not properly torqued. I always check my wheels. Somes lug nuts were not tightened to proper tightness. Some I had to break loose with pipe extensions on a breaker bar. Torque is supposed to be 140 foot pounds on this truck. This is the 5 t/h time that I caught not be torqued properly. I had to install new rotors from going out of round once. I quit reminding the service writer because it never fixed the problem.

Mark was unable to recall the warranty paperwork that was

Mark was unable to recall the warranty paperwork that was shown to him twice and discussed a third time. He lectured my son on returning calls when he himself sent messages to the wrong phone number. Mark could not find the repair that done 14 months previously and had us back in the shop for the same issue; he conveniently list the paperwork showing this repair. Fixing a knock sensor took 5 business days. Had to return car as Mark wrote up the bill wrong leaving off the dealer purchased extended warranty. Thankfully this is our first negative issue but I wouldn?t recommend Mark Goss as your representative in service.

Sold us an absolute lemon.

Sold us an absolute lemon. Bought a 2016 Acadia for a decent price that was in-line with other area dealerships. 3 months later the entire exhaust system needs replacement at a price of $9000. Certified mechanic at the dealership said its pretty clear the exhaust system is shot from the vehicle sitting for a long period of time with inadequate maintenance when vehicle was brought out for driving again.
