TOTAL SCAMMERS! CAUTION!

Purchased a car Oct. 31,2021 took it for evaluation and the hood would not even open so took car back and swapped for CLS 550 took it for evaluation and it had approx. $2800 worth of repairs. I might add the paperwork was less than complete and the distraction while trying to figure out the paperwork was intentional. Less questions asked at that time was best for them and Dean was very good at getting around all that. Dean said he would have the CLS repaired and he came to my house took the car (second car, CLS 550) from my driveway with my license plate on the CLS 550 and I never saw the car or my license plate again. What a nightmare trying to get a new license plate. Police report was required before the state would issue a new plate. Mirabella took the car and never even returned my license plate. The Tampa police say they can't arrest because Mirabella DID NOT SIGN my Bill of Sale. Pretty slick! Certainly my oversight however, what scammers. Mirabella then proceeded to title the first car to me WITHOUT my knowledge (the one they brought to me as a loaner while they supposedly repaired the CLS 550) all this time I am thinking they are repairing the CLS. What a surprise in my mailbox when I got the title to the first car, the car I had returned and the car they bought to my house as the loaner while they supposedly repaired the CLS. Dean the salesman lied numerous times about the car being repaired..lie after lie. Total scam and find out they have put the car(CLS 550) on EBAY auction while I sit thinking it is being repaired and they really all the time are trying to auction it. They have since come back as European Motors of Tampa and are reopened on the same lot as when they were operating under Mirabella Motors. Beware!!! I am trying to find atty help as the first atty was really not helpful and I was told I need a consumer protection / car dealership fraud attorney. There must be a good attorney, locally, to fight this? I know the corporate veil is strong but, there must be some justice somewhere? Nightmare experience and very costly as this car is needing some more repairs and many undisclosed issues with this car. Recently visited New Orleans and had to have the car transported from Mobile, Al back to St.Pete, FL due to drive shaft going out on interstate 10 while driving back home. Car rental expenses, towing, and repairs have really totaled up on this car. TOTAL scam...I am not giving up...Watch out for this dealership it is really bad news!

Avoid at all cost

In August I found a vehicle on Ebay that was being auctioned by Mirabella Motors. I placed a bid however the auction never met its reserve so the auction ended without a winner. When I saw they added the vehicle back for sale I got in touch with Tony Mirabella. He let me know he lowered the reserve and that If I wanted the vehicle I could send him a deposit and he would close the auction. Before I sent the deposit I expressed some concern since I was unable to go and see the vehicle in person. On the phone Tony went out of his way to assure me he was a “reputable dealer” and that I would be “happy with the vehicle”. I thought it prudent to send him a quick email which spelled out that if the vehicle didn’t match the description that I would receive my deposit back within 30 days. After sending the deposit I immediately scheduled an independent inspector to go and check out the vehicle. Tony passed me off to another employee to get the inspection scheduled and after a couple of weeks they were able to retrieve the vehicle from another auction and make it available for inspection. The inspector was to review paint, interior, and quality of maintenance. They also perform a test drive however for some reason that day the vehicle wasn’t able to be driven. In any case the inspection report came back with photos and a narrative that indicated poor color match and door jam and fender mis alignment. An airbox that was stuffed with leaves and greasy hand prints on the interior door (Light Gray Interior). When I got back in touch with Tony to let him know I would like my deposit back he initially wasn’t available. Then after several weeks he was “slammed since getting home” and that he would “get to it next week”. After a week or so I followed up again and he asked me the address where to send the refund.

After another week or so I followed up again and he asked for a copy of the inspection report. After another week or so and on regular intervals I’ve followed up with him and their office through email, text, and phone calls. I have been ducked and dodged with no answers except a request to not leave a negative review and “I’ll follow up with Tony”. My deposit was on the magnitude of thousands of dollars which as of now it seems I’ll have to file a small claims suit in order to recoup. Since i'm out of state I’ll have to pay an attorney to stand on my behalf. Long story short, I would exercise caution if you plan to purchase a vehicle from them. Your experience may vary but after some research I’ve found this may be a typical experience.

Great... until they get your money! BEWARE!

I live out of state and found the car online. I negotiated a deal over the phone with Dean. I flew into the Tampa airport where Dean picked me up and drove me to the car lot. The car was as it had been described. We filled out the paperwork and I paid in full with a cashiers check. I asked Dean how long it would take to get my title and he said that legally he has up to 30 days but he would have it to me in about 10 days or so. So, around the 15th day I sent him a message asking if he had heard anything back on my title. Ever since then it has been lie after lie. He has told me 5 different times that it was sent out and I would have it on a certain day. But, every time I asked for a tracking number he either ignored me or made an excuse not to give me one. At the time he was still well within his 30 day legal period, so all he had to do was tell me the truth that he hadn't gotten it sent out yet. Instead he chose to lie. Now we are 34 days in and still no title. The last time I spoke with him on the phone he was extremely rude and hung up on me. And now he is not even answering or responding to my messages. Now it is looking as if I will have to take legal measures to get the title to my car. He is a great salesperson and everything went great... until after he got my money!

William

My experience at Mirabella was fantastic! They had exactly what I needed at the right price. The overall experience was quick and easy and Dane was kind enough to come in on a holiday to meet me as I came in from out of town. If the vehicle you want is not on the lot, they will find it for you. I will be doing business with them in the future.

Would definitely recommend

I have purchased two cars with Dean over the last couple years and he is always a pleasure to work with. I am very particular with what I want and he is very patient and accommodating which I appreciate. I will refer anyone I know looking for a luxury vehicle to him.

Shady Dealership

Unfortunately, I had to change my review of this dealership after an exhaustive 2 months of back and forth with DEAN for selling me a severely problematic car and failing to disclose the damages. Sad as I believe that I was taken for a ride by this guy, I still can’t believe it myself but Dean is the embodiment of a sleazy Florida used car salesman as they come. Don’t be fooled by the multiple positive reviews that you see here on their Google page, I fell for it too. These reviews were given by people after he had pressured you to go to his Google page and leave a review immediately after delivering your car. Of course you’re still ecstatic from buying a car and prime ready to give out five stars but that’s where the problem begins. He buys damaged and questionable cars from California, relies on mostly out-of-state or long distance customers, displays this charming personality and then turns around and screws you over. I bought a Mercedes-Benz S550 from him. Discovered that that the Sunroof is damaged while driving the car home from the dealership, seat functions stopped working, pneumatic pump damaged, air suspension leaking just to mention a few. If you are considering buying a car from this guy named Dean, please consider coming in with your mechanic, make sure everything is working in the car. Even at that, I still will not recommend him or this dealership for the xxxx they put me through in the last 2 months. After making every attempt to get these guys to do the right thing, by fixing some of the severe damages on the car, and even when I agreed to meet them halfway on the costs, Dean simply chose to ignore my calls and texts leaving me in nearly $3500 in bills. I have contacted the relevant consumer protection agencies and the local TV station to investigate this guy. I strongly believe that he may have gotten away with selling shoddy cars to unsuspecting people for far too long
