If you’re considering purchasing a vehicle from this

If you’re considering purchasing a vehicle from this dealership, I strongly urge you to reconsider. I purchased a Mercedes-Benz from them, and within just four months, the valve body failed—an issue costing $4,000 to repair. Despite being assured at the time of purchase that the vehicle was in excellent condition and free of issues, I have now been left with a costly repair and no support from the dealership. They misrepresented the car’s reliability and falsely led me to believe there were no concerns, even insisting on full asking price due to its supposed quality. Now, they refuse to take any responsibility, citing that the vehicle is not under warranty—something they failed to clarify properly during the sale, as we know new Mercedes Benz has an automatic warranty; but apparently it expired just last year. This experience has been incredibly frustrating and unfair. A car should not require such extensive repairs this soon after purchase, and a reputable dealership should stand by their vehicles. I hope my experience serves as a warning to others. Do your research and take your business elsewhere

Not your typical used car lot

Me and my family have bought 4 cars from Jay Wolfe Auto Outlet. I have had nothing but top notch service from them the last 3 years that I have been dealing with them. Josh worked w me my first time in and got me financed when I was very doubtful that anyone could.

Don't Be Fooled!!

We bought a 2007 Chevy Cobalt here yesterday and within 24 hours we have had to replace the battery and the air conditioner has quit working. It was purchased as is but we thought Jay Wolfe was reputable and we were assured that the car had to be passed by three different mechanics before it was available for sale. Now we are just holding our breath waiting for what happens next. This is a starter car for my son and I am almost terrified to let him drive it because there is no telling what else these mechanics might have “missed” or skipped over. My husband and I bought our last 3 brand new cars from Jay Wolfe but they have now lost our business for good. (I gave one star only because I was unable to give 0 stars.)

Don't waste your time making an appointment!

At this dealership if you are wanting to see a particular car don't waste your time making an appointment. Someone can walk in 30 minutes before your appointment and purchase the car. I have been to other dealers without an appointment and been told the vehicle was being held for another customer to look at who HAD AN APPOINTMENT. I could look at it but not test drive it until the customer WITH AN APPOINTMENT had a chance to purchase it. When I went inside and told them I had an appointment to see Jackie they asked me to take a seat because she was with another customer......who was purchasing the vehicle I had driven an hour to come look at. Then the manager comes over and tells me that Jackie had asked him what to do because she knew I was coming in shortly to look at the car. The manager told her to go ahead and sell it to the other customer. I wish I could remember the managers name to call his fine customer service skills to task but I pretty sure when they read this they will know who it is. They probably won't care either. Jay Wolfe auto group you have lost a current and future customer.

Eh okay

Check engine light came on after two hours of buying. Dealer fixed it though. Hard to get service when they are busy. Otherwise fine people.

Junk Cars

I purchased a 2002 Honda Accord from here on September 15, 2016. I needed a commuter car in a hurry after losing my company car and taking a job in town. This was my fault as I should have done more research on the 02 Honda. I asked the salesperson if I could keep the car a few nights and decide but was told that was not an option. About 4,000 miles into owning it a maintenance required light came on. I found that these lights are automatically tripped so did not worry much about it at that time. Then the transmission began to slip in low gears if I did not come to a complete stop. At 7,000 miles the car lost power on the highway causing me to drop from 60mph to 40mph and almost get rear ended. I have found that these Honda's are notorious for transmission issues and it is a known problem to Honda. Any google search will tell you this. The transmission replacement was going to cost 2500-3000 with not much warranty to speak of. I decided to purchase another vehicle from another location as I no longer felt safe in this vehicle. I expressed my concerns to GM Lou S. who indicated since I purchased a vehicle from another location there was nothing he could do for me. This car lasted only 3 months and cost me 5K. I had requested a refund of my sales tax or something to help with the purchase of another car but Jay Wolfe made it clear they would do nothing for me unless I purchased another unreliable piece of junk they sell at this location which I refuse to do. I would never recommend this place to anyone. I have a real hard time believing that they were unaware of transmission issues based on the history of this particular year of Honda yet I do believe they will try to make a profit on vehicles that should have been sent to the junk yard. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for a vehicle.

Excellent Service After the Sale

I purchased a used car from this dealer. Over the weekend I discovered a problem with the car. I took it to them on Monday morning and they fixed it the same day with no questions, no hassles. They were very helpful and courteous. I would buy from them again and I would recommend them to a friend.

Dishonest

After they shipped the papers for final transaction we were surprised by a phone call to find out the car had been sold to another customer. Keep in mind this was after we agreed on a price and spent valuable time to coordinate with the staff how to acquire the vehicle. The dishonesty of this situation is disgusting and frankly unprofessional. This is not how business is to be conducted. Very disappointed in the quality of the business relations of this dealer.

2005 Envoy

Bought my 2005 GMC Envoy XL SLT from Jay Wolfe Auto Outlet on Barry Road on August 1, 2015. Mark was my salesman. A week later, I noticed some leaks, so I called and spoke with Lou and he was right on it and said to get it back there so they could look at it. Brought it in and they fixed it. I told them about other issues it was having that I started noticing just a couple days after owning it and they didn't address those issues. My oil pressure low light came on and said stop engine, so I had to get a new sensor, clean the screen, my intake is full of oil, vehicle smoking and now noticed metal shavings in my oil. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS 'DEALERSHIP'.

2005 Ford Taurus

We all know what buy here pay here is. We bought a 2005 ford taurus from Jay Wofe low miles priced way over the value but it is what is yes we agreed to it. Long story short our payments were sold to a "company" called Mid Atlantic Finance Company. One of the stipulations on buying the older car for such a high price was if you got full coverage with a deductible of $500.00 if it was totaled you owed nothing more than the deductible, fast forward 02/16/2015 the car was totaled insurance paid Mid Atlantic finance company 4800.00 now Mid Atlantic is saying we owe another 3000.00 which in the original contract it stated if you kept full coverage with a $500.00 deductible it was like "gap" insurance. Just a little 30 days after the wreck mid atlantic finance company is on my credit as a deliquency. We did even know Jay Wolfe had sold the loan at first we just got a payment booklet and crazy harrassing phone calls, our payments were always on time too. Mary Ponder sold this car.
