So far, and acknowledging I've had the used car only a few weeks, the experience was remarkable for an experience with a car dealer. John was low-key, friendly, made sure the service bay addressed my questions and sold us a 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse with 30,000 miles that came from an estate sale, which he sold us for $8,500. The car works well. The warranty is limited to four months on major systems but that was enough to drive it away without too much worry and see initially that it's got no immediate problems.

We have purchased four cars from Greg at RL Smith Sales, Inc and all were quality vehicles, at a good price! Both our children drives cars from Greg. He is trustworthy...which is hard to find in used or new car sales. It is a family environment, with Greg's dad always there (he started the company) and his Uncle John professionally doing all the paperwork. We have had repairs done by them as we'll once again, we trust RL Smith. We will always buy from them...even though we live 50 minutes away! Worth the drive...You will not be disappointed, buy from RL Smith!

When can that headline be said about a used car dealer? Just bought one of our kids his first car here, and John, the salesman, was professional and informative. Let the car be checked out by our mechanic? No problem. Fix the minor things our mechanic found wrong? No problem. There is nothing -- nothing - I hate more after 30 years of buying cars than a visit to an auto sales shop. This is the first time I can say I walked away feeling I wasn't hassled and didn't have to play the usual salesman vs. consumer games. And I believe, truly, that John was as serious about getting my kid got into as safe a car as we wanted and as cool looking as my son wanted - a Saab. And get this: at pickup time, they showed my son all the workings of the car. But he drove away without fulling closing the hood (though it was obviously latched enough that it didn't fly open). Still, when they realized he pulled away like that, an employee chased after my son, and six miles later, found him at a stop light and told him to more firmly shut the hood. And, finally, here's something I've never done before after buying a car. I couldn't be with my son when he picked up the car. But a week later, I drove out of my way to stop by R.L. Smith and thank them for the professionalism. How many buyers of used cars can say that?

This was my first experience with R.L. Smith Sales Inc. The owners were very friendly, honest and went above and beyond any expectations I had regarding a car sale. I will recommend R.L. Smith to my friends and family. The only regret I have is not joining to the SAAB family sooner.

This dealership has been around a long time. We bought a used Saab from them. We dealt with John who was a pleasure to do business with, smooth no hassle transaction. Also we met Greg in the service dept. and also very helpful. This is the place to go for a used vehicle. Highly recommended.

I've just bought a 9 year old Saab from this dealer, whom I've used before for complex repairs. This car is like new! Price was attractive, and I received a fair value for my trade-in. They did everything possible to make the buying process simple, and without any pressure. I've used this dealer for years for repairs on my other Saab, and obviously I trust their integrity and technical skill. Now I can also say that I wouldn't buy a used car from anyone else. I trust them, and the cars they sell, completely.
