In the past Cochran's service has been very good.

In the past Cochran's service has been very good. My recent purchase experience though gives me some pause to purchase from them again. The entire process was strictly transactional. The salespeople were always rushed when speaking with them over the phone and neither the salesperson or sales manager thanked me for my purchase. I was very surprised by this this as this was the 4th vehicle I purchased from them. They have a huge selection of vehicles which is the primary reason why I'd still recommend them. But be forewarned.

Complimentary safety inspection and brake repair

My front brakes and rotors needed to be replaced at 33K miles on a 2018 Buick Enclave. Total repair including the recommended brake fluid flush came to $601 including Pa. state tax. So without tax about $540. That seems high. Might try Midas or some other local garage next time. I question if I really needed the rotors replaced. I paid more but maybe got a good job done, and quality GM parts. Complimentary safety inspection and top off all fluids. I would have been nice to see a report of the inspection. Like measurement readings or what was inspected. Ex. even though my TPMS (tire pressure) was not lit, I knew one of my tires was low about 29-30 psi. According to OnStar Recommended tire pressure: Front: 35psi | Rear: 35psi I still saw my tires low. I think a little more information would be good.

I was having a serious mechanical issue with my GMC

I was having a serious mechanical issue with my GMC Sierra truck and was concerned it would breakdown on the road. I began calling GMC service departments in my area in an effort to find a service department which would take my truck that day. Finally, I reached Cochran Buick/GMC and the woman scheduled me for an appointment at 1:00 that day (45 minutes from the time of my call). I drove 1/2 across Allegheny County to Cochran only to be told that no appointment had been scheduled. Moreover, the truck could not be looked at that day and it was unlikely that they would look at before Monday. The service rep did not attempt to offer an accomodation and at one point he haughtily informed me that "that's why people make appointments". I reminded him that I "had" made an appointment and that I just didn't make up the entire story just to waste gas and time. He stared blankly at me the entire time. I've never liked Cochran sales department and only called the Service Dept because I was desperate. Some things never change.... They are a bush league outfit.

Service department review

Brought my daughter's car in for a scheduled oil change. Service dept. realized that inspection was due in two months and they offered to do that also at the same visit on a busy Saturday. It saved us another trip to the dealership. When it was all done car was serviced and washed and it was done in a timely manner. Positive experience!I

Sold me a car in 2021 with a bad carfax, wouldn’t rectify

Sold me a car in 2021 with a bad carfax, wouldn’t rectify the issue, lost $2500 on my trade 6 months later… high upset will never purchase from there again

Our policy requires the Carfax be disclosed both in the online advertising and in a physical copy presented at the time of sale on each vehicle we sell. Trade in values very dealership to dealership, in this case you have chosen to trade the vehicle elsewhere for less value than our team offered. Our purchasing of the 2022 Cadillac CT5 was a great experience from the test drive to the finalization of all the car details before driving home. The salesman Shawn and the Sales Manager Dale were friendly, knowledgeable, and considerate of all our thoughts and desires with our trade and our purchase. No high pressure , they gave me time to decide. I will be a returning customer for sure.

Poor service at the gmc dealership!

Poor service at the gmc dealership! Navigation in my car worked until I had service! Now the navigation does not find the address, service manager rude, very rude!! Asked to speak to his boss, was told it was mr Cochran , but refused to tell me how to contact him! Got to oil changed and tires rotated, every tire has different pressure according to gmc OnStar app! Inspected car without emission report! Lies lies and more lies! I want to speak to his boss
