Not only are they competent in the work they do, they greet you with a smile. They keep one updated and consistently return the car ahead of schedule and... quite literally walk the customer to the car and open the door.
Elijah at Grand Kia really took care of us. He knew his product and was ready when we came in. He was not pushy (not like a car salesman) but is a true... salesman. It was a pleasure doing business with Elijah and will most definitely recommend people to him as he delivers superior customer service!
Overall, I would recommend going to another dealer. Our purchase process was not a simple one, nor do the employees working seem to have a full grasp on... anything. Responses from the Finance department are very bare minimum and lack clarity and basic email etiquette. They even emailed us someone else's contract which contained their personal information. Makes us feel quite a bit uneasy about our personal information being trusted with them. Title information was not sent to our county for over a month, resulting in a wasted afternoon appointment at the DMV. When purchasing the vehicle, everyone seemed clueless as to all the promotions and rebates clearly stated on Kia's website. They kept claiming the website was wrong and the deal is no longer in effect (it had just started a couple days prior and was very much so still in effect). After being adamant to receive these promotions and rebates, they gave them to be by using multiple "coupons meant for other customers." Which basically just meant they are finally agreeing to give me the incentives they are more than able to give and should be promoting. In the end, was able to get the car I wanted for the monthly price I desired (although probably would have been lower at a different dealer), but the overall process and customer service from Grand Kia has cemented my mind to go through a different dealer when it is time for another vehicle.
Bought a used Jeep Wrangler here in Feb of 2018 that had only 37K miles on it. Before even receiving the title (in first 100 miles driving the car), my... Slave cylinder failed on the way to Steamboat Springs w/ my entire family in it on our way to a ski trip. Management did refund me for the service bill (after initially only proposing to cover half of it!), but the stress and lost day of a family vacation sitting at the autoshop still left a sour taste in my mouth. Fast forward to Sept 2018, still just 7 months (and under 5k miles driven while owning the car) after buying this car from Grand Kia, now I'm again in the auto shop after losing engine power. I've been without my car for a full week and am now faced with a $780 bill to "troubleshoot" replacing the cam shaft position sensors. If this doesn't work, it'll mean the car requires an entire camshaft replacement, which could be in the thousands of dollars in repairs (which may or may not be covered by my limited 12 month warranty they gave me). These guys sold me a lemon. Camshafts are something that are rare to go out even on 120K+ mile cars. Mine has 1/3 the miles and has now required these two large repairs totaling thousands of dollars. I very much regret buying a vehicle here and would not recommend making the same mistake I made. Look elsewhere, this place is rated 1.2/5 on DealerRater.com and 2 stars on Yelp. The 3.6 stars on Google is quite the embellishment. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
Find another dealership group. They talked me into another lease early saying they would pay off the remaining amount of the original lease. It's been... a month now and I have 2 car payments due and get blown off when I call to ask where the check is.
I was impressed with how my sales rep-Sean was not pushy but very helpful. The rest of the team also took care of all my concerns that I had with my end... of lease options. I ended up with a great looking car(Optima) and a great interest rate 0%. I would highly recommend working with Grand Kia, I would imagine that the other side GMC, Buick would be just as great. Great job Sean!!!!
Randy Pewtress was a professional and courteous salesman with excellent knowledge of the products. He let the vehicle sell itself; no pressure sales tactics... at all! The sales team even allowed me to take the vehicle home to show my wife who was as equally pleased as I was with the Kia. The sales manager, Tony, was pleasant and worked with me on an agreeable price that made me feel comfortable. Tree King was incredibly knowledgeable about the software and button-ology of the entire computer system in the car. I found her tutorial on how to operate the navigation, radio, and phone app most helpful. Glenn the finance manager was very personable and went over every detail in the sales contract and answered all my questions. I would highly recommend Grand Kia to anyone interested in purchasing a new or used vehicle. Just ask for Randy and the team will take care of you!
Doug P is great! He kindly helped my Mum purchased her Buick several months ago and she is so pleased, which is not an easy feat. I purposely went back... to purchase my car from him. I knew what I wanted and he and Kevin in finance made it happen. I had questions about the purchase and Tim, the owner, took the time and patience to answer my questions thoughtfully. I came in for an oil change & was told my battery was at zero, & needed to be replaced right away. I took my car to a nearby Walmart since Kia wanted $189... for the battery. Walmart tested my battery & said it was just fine. I guess they aren't on commission like Kia- and I trusted this dealership until now. I bought my car here & had been a customer since Dec 2012. Not again
