Shopping for a vehicle is generally stressful and can be overwhelming when you don’t know exactly what you’re looking for. The staff at Savage Kia were welcoming and made me feel comfortable. The salesman, Matt Gingrich, was very informative, professional and took the time to answer all the questions I had. I was treated as a valued customer without being pressured. Excellent service dept.
Purchased my 3rd Sorento elsewhere (was working at a rival Kia dealer.) The service manager has always gone above and beyond for me. I’ve been in the car biz for about 50 years and have seen and heard everything. I’m very pleased with the service dept. They alert you if something is needed or is on the maintenance timeline. They aren’t pushy and explain everything clearly. Great experience.

Owned a Kia stinger for 900 miles and I Brought the car
Owned a Kia stinger for 900 miles and I Brought the car in to Savage Kia for an oil change, service department must of damaged the leather in the steering wheel. When reported they said they wouldn’t have done that. The cut it right in the field of view and it’s rough enough to feel when driving the car. I would know it was there when I dropped it off. Dealer takes no responsibility for what they have done . I wouldn’t recommend anyone uses such a dishonest dealership.

Service Department Complaint
Listen I had a great experience buying my first KIA from Savage but when I started having issues with my 3 month old car. that is a different story. If I would have known about the service I would have passed. Driving down the highway and my wiper blades front and back come on. Even though my car shows me they are "OFF." Went to the Service Department @ Savage in Reading. They told me I have to have proof that they are doing this. I ask how am I supposed to get proof. They suggested I video tape them. So now they are asking me to video tape while I am driving. REALLY??? I have to prove that it is acting up to get service? Wait I can get service but they tell me it won't be covered under warranty. Not only are the wipers acting up but also sometimes when it does this, my front head light goes out because I get a warning and then my turn signal because I also get a warning. Did I mention that the automatic lock on the drivers side does not always work either? Or that the charging station for my phone heats up so hot that it causes my phone to shut down. So I guess I have to have hope that another KIA dealership can help? I am so frustrated and disappointed.
