I am in the market for a used Honda Odyssey. This dealership had one with nice specs at a nice price in stock. But when I told them I wanted to get it evaluated by an independant mechanic, he tried to dissuade me, assuring me his mechanic had looked it over. I took it to an independant mechanic anyway, and found the timing belt and brake system both needed to be replaced, for a minimum $2000 in work. When we brought this up with the car lot, they disputed the findings and would not negotiate. The staff are very friendly and the facility is small but comfortable. If you buy from them, just take it to a mechanic first.

Thank you Bethany for your review, although, we believe it was a bit unfair for you to say that we tried to "dissuade me" from taking our vehicle to another mechanic. That is very untrue. You came to our dealership for three days straight to look at the Honda. The first day we told you we ALWAYS let our customers take vehicles to other mechanics if they wish, but our vehicles are still sold "as-is." We are always upfront about everything that we know about the vehicles and give our customers a chance to drive them, inspect them, look at AutoCheck reports, and nothing was different for you and your father-in-law when you came to us for three days. After the first day, you said you were also going to go to other dealerships to look at other Honda Odyssey vehicles and that you may be back. The second day we allowed you to take the vehicle to your husband, who could not make it to the dealership because of a sprained ankle. When you brought it back you mentioned again that you wanted to take it for a third day to a mechanic, which we didn't have any issue with. The third day, we let you take the vehicle for more than three hours in order for your mechanic. We trust his evaluation and let you know that although he was quoting you higher than we know other dealerships would fix the same issues. However, you didn't want us to fix the brakes so we said that was fine. The timing belt issue for a Honda Odyssey for it's year and mileage is a totally normal issue. You can call any mechanic shop and ask when a 2007 Honda Odyssey's timing belt should be replaced and they will tell you 135,000-150,000 miles. Ours is just under that, and we said that isn't something that we could take care of for you, but other shops we work with could. Your father-in-law was very uninterested in wanting us to touch the vehicle at all, which is fine and understandable. All of that being said, your out the door was too low for our dealership to take. When it's already priced BELOW retail value. When we said we could not take the offer you both said "okay, thank you" and that was it. You both left and didn't seem interested in offering anything else. We negotiate with all of our customers, that is the nature of our business. We may have considered a higher offer, even if it was below the listed selling price. We again appreciate your review, we're always looking for ways to improve, and maybe our communication is something we can work on if you really believed we were unfair with you. We hope you had a good trip back home to Illinois with your husband and children. Good communication
I emailed a few times a vehicle on the lot and they we're quick to reply with everything that I had ask. Unfortunately I waited to long to go and get they vehicle. Someone had bought it 2 nights before I planned on going to purchase.

Super helpful
I ended up not buying a car from them because of my financial situation. But they were soooo helpful. And they told me if I needed help in the future even if it was from a different dealership they would still help me and make sure I wasn't getting screwed over.

Amazing Service!
Very cooperative people, great deals and clean cars. Found the best deal for the car I was trying to buy here in Indianapolis. They also have a service shop on site. Customer service was excellent!

Excellent service

Excellent Service
Everybody bent over backwards to make us happy. Our salesman, Alex, was top notch. After we purchased the car they went ahead and detailed our vehicle which was a pleasant surprise. Awesome experience!
Went in on Feb. 26th and purchased a 2010 Ford Taurus. My experience was awesome. Cinthia knew her job and executed her duties flawlessly. If in the future I need to purchase another vehicle I would definitely consider Crown Autos again.
