disappointed customer

Dealer is untrustworthy can not give a straight answer to anything. Agreed at a price then changed his mind. Kept us on the hook for a week. Did not return calls.

We are sorry you missed out a car. Unfortunately the cars we deal with move very quickly. However the deal in question was a wholesale unit sold to another dealer. You were offered the same price that was the unit was sold to another dealer. You declined the offer and told us to sell it. We were very honest and transparent clearly you mistook that for some sort of negotiation tactics which we do not do! Sorry for any inconvenience we may have caused you. Great experience - buy with confidence!

I cannot speak at all to the prior reviewer's experience, so I will outline my own, which was quite pleasant, as this is the first time I've purchased a car sight-unseen. I apologize if my recollection is incorrect. I initially contacted Bass Auto through the website and received a call back from Joey the same day, at the end of the day (I had missed his call-back). Once I finally caught up with Joey on the phone, he was upfront and gave me an accurate description of the car, and his genuine interest in the car was easy to pick up on. Also easy for me to see was his experience in selling these cars / shipping these cars, and putting customers who are across the country, shopping sight unseen, at ease. I had questions about potential cost of shipping and he gave me an estimate, but also told me he'd look into it further to get a better sense. His concern for accuracy and clarity in communication, both in shipping estimates, and in condition of the car, were clear and genuine. Every single time we connected on the phone he took the time to explain details, answer questions, and never rushed or used any high-pressure sales tactics. We did discuss independent pre-purchase inspections, and he did not dissuade me from anything that I wanted to consider. Ultimately I chose not to get an independent PPI, for myriad reasons, and we finalized price and after trading a few txts, he faxed over a bill of sale which I signed in the evening and faxed back to him. All communication post-bill of sale was excellent. Once that was completed, shipping was the only additional piece of the puzzle. He was extremely patient with my nervousness about shipping and went into detail about his experiences with car transport. He was able to secure shipping rates significantly less ($200 less!) than any I was able to find on-line, which was extremely helpful and, again, points to the accuracy of his initial communications and shipping estimates. It did take a few days to get a shipper, but during that time we continued to trade txts / phone calls, and at no point did I feel uncomfortable with his response or his communication. Regarding internal and external condition of the car-- I was not interested in purchasing a beauty queen, but rather a great reliable daily driver that I could thrash in the snow- I was not at all expecting a perfect car (it is 9 years old!), and my expectations were set appropriately. Minor cosmetic issues do not annoy me, so I think Joey did a great job in setting appropriate expectations, in answering all of the questions that I had, and in shipping. Overall, the transaction went smoothly. Were there dings / scratches on the car? Yes. It's a 2005 car, and I expected some dings and scratches. Were they all described to me up front? Almost every single one of them was described in a thorough walk-through with Joey on the phone. When I compare my notes from that phone conversation to the car that showed up, they were spot on. Is it the perfect car for me? Absolutely, yes. I can say that my experience with Joey was great, and I recommend him without reservation. I would not hesitate at all to purchase a car sight unseen from Joey again!

Great Experience!

Found a car I love at a great price! This dealer was very helpful in answering all my questions and went above and beyond to get me in to the car I wanted. Can't say enough good things... Great car buying experience. Thank you Joey!

Wonderful Service... great car at a great price...

Right from the get-go, Joey was extremely helpful in answering all my questions and helping me get in to the car I wanted. I got a car I love for a fantastic price. This dealer was up- front, no pressure, and very accommodating... Above and beyond any other car buying experience I have had. Thank you Joey!

great experience!

I can't say enough good things about my experience here. I found the BMW I have been searching for.. at a price that was rock bottom. I shopped around for long time looking for a 09 stick with navigation, I'm happy I found it here! I will without a doubt be a repeat customer. Thanks joey!

great car... great price.. great service!

Being my first luxury car ever I couldn't be more satisfied. From the moment I got to the dealership I was greeted wonderfully. Joey helped me into the car I wanted and gave me a great deal. I'd definitely return to this dealer and recommend him to all my friends. So worth the trip hour and a half drive from NJ.

great price, excellent quality

I purchased my Audi through Bass Auto and I can't speak highly enough of my experience with them. I shopped around locally and found their prices and quality to be the best. They also gave me the best price of any dealer on my trade.
