My husband and I visited this dealership with the intent to buy. When we did a test drive of the car, we then went to the salesperson's office to discuss terms. Also, included was a certificate for $50.00 to test drive the car. After several sales pitches between the salesperson and her manager, we were getting agitated. We felt like cattle before the slaughter. We left and then continued to call us and we asked about the $50.00 gift certificate that they said was mailed, that was at the end of August and nothing as of late November. You can't trust what they say because they don't deliver what is promised. Needless to say we bought another car but not at this dealership.

Customer Service: Excellent Attention to Details
This was my third purchase of a Forester, and in spite of the many complexities of ordering a Forester in 2022, this has been the best purchasing experience by far! I ask a lot of questions and have high expectations of customer service, so it was a really pleasant surprise to have my hopes exceeded while dealing with Frank Subaru. Jose, Nadia, and Jackie all worked very hard to answer my questions. Because of the complexities of the vehicle being delivered to the dealership, it arrived when I was across the country. Noting that the interest rates were going up, the dealership reached out to me and fedexed me the paperwork so that I could complete it before my return. Jose gave me a ride to pick up my car when I got back, and Nadia showed no trace of impatience when my orientation/follow-up session lasted more than 2 hours. (I had never driven a car with all the new safety features.) In short, these are hardworking, conscientious, and knowledgeable people! My Forester is everything I hoped it would be, and I feel confident that if I need anything, they will be able and willing to help. *Note: prior to this I had been very impressed with their repair department. That's one of the reasons I came to them to place my order. (I think it was Brian who helped me.) I am impressed by all aspects of this dealership!

purchased through costco auto program, got a great deal, and frank subaru honored pricing and easy purchase! have since brought it in for included maintenance. the service manager was able to sort out a technical request that really helped us enjoy our car more. thanks Frank Subaru!

Katherine is a Great Service Advisor
I brought my car to be serviced the other day at Frank Subaru, and was once again pleasantly surprised. I made an early appointment and they got my car into the service bay early and got me out early even though I asked for additional services. I mentioned to Katherine that I had fluid pooling under my car that didn't appear to be coming from the AC condenser, and she said she would have the tech check it out. I also asked her if they could steam clean the engine, because it was filthy. Since i knew I was going to be there for a while, I brought my laptop to get some work done in their customer service lobby. Having a place to work means bringing your vehicle to get serviced at Frank is not down time. After checking the source of the moisture, it turned out that the moisture was coming from the AC condenser, so there was no leak to fix. (With the cover underneath the engine and transmission its hard to see where moisture is coming from.) While the work was getting done, Katherine kept me informed. She also checked for open recalls, and made sure all my service was up-to-date. She recommended another optional service item, but I still managed to get out pretty early in the morning. The best news was that when I got the bill it was a lot less than I thought. Katherine applied points I had stored up, and got me the best prices on the service. She also told me my brakes would last at least until my next oil change which saved me a little bit of money on this visit. Katherine is truly Great! If you live in San Diego, and you have a Subaru, take it to Frank for service, and see Katherine. She will give you the royal treatment.

New Car
I was buying my first car, they were really friendly at first. But felt a little pushed too quicklly for signing all the documents and wasnt explained well what was needed. The owner and salesman i worked with were helpful but one of their finacial managers didnt explain well what they needed from me and i was very confused on what the whole process was. After the process was over, i tried calling to see what was needed but ended up even more confused.
