I basically had decided on the car when I arrived at the dealership. However, what was not described to me was that the car's check engine light was on, the battery was completely dead and the gas tank was minutes from empty. After much discussion, I was promised to have the engine repairs paid from by the company, only to be denied when the mechanic called to confirm this promise. I had to buy my own battery before even completing the sale and of course, some gas just to get it home. They didn't seem to concerned about what these things did to their reputation, only that they would sale the car. They also joked to my face that it would be discounted the following day, but they had no intention of applying that discount for my purchase, despite all the other disappointing realities of how very little effort they were making to sale me the car. I agreed to purchase the car after being promised that they could cover the repairs. Two weeks later, while the car had been sitting in the shop for several days awaiting to hear back from Byrd's, they denied the assistance to cover the repairs.

I enjoyed conversation with this dealership. Unlike others they really read your emails and respond in a timely fashion. Answered all of my questions very nice people and fair.

My husband and I just bought our first car and it was literally the ideal car buying experience! Our car was in excellent condition, the staff was incredibly friendly and it was a no-pressure buying experience. We drove an hour and a half to get to the dealership, and it was more than worth it!
