had our truck in for the same problem three times.

had our truck in for the same problem three times. Each time they sold me parts that didn't fix the problem. They put a bearing in the wrong wheel and wanted to charge me to put it in the correct wheel. After I left 2 messages for the GM. A service manager called me back and said he would put the bearing in the correct wheel at no charge. The first service manager, Shawn, would not help me at all. approximately 6 weeks ago it was in for the same problem whit the wheel and a should when the truck started. After telling me they couldn't replicate the sound I offered to come in and show them. The advisor informed me that he would have the lead tech check it out. The advisor called me back to tell me it was the starter and they wanted to put a new starter in. After picking up the truck and driving it it was making the same exact sounds. This time I called the service manager, Shawn, who told me to bring it in. Once again I offered to drive the truck with the tech. They declined my offer. When the service advisor called and advised me that it needed a new bearing and a $6000 cam timing device, I found out that they had put the bearing in the wrong wheel and the new starter was obviously not the problem. I feel totally ripped off! I am going to pick up the truck and take it to a reputable service department for an independent evaluation of the service that was performed at Chapman Ford. When asked for a written estimate, it is not the $6000 that he quoted me, it is $7000!

Debbso, As we discussed, the bearing repair was in 2023 and the RF wheel bearing was found to be bad. Now, in 2025, the LF bearing is bad. In addition, the noise while starting was the starter grinding at the bottom back of the engine. Now there is a clatter from the top front of the engine after startup. Due to your insistence that you are hearing the same noises from 2023, we agreed not to charge you for the wheel bearing and apply the starter cost you paid toward the timing repair. As we discussed, the right wheel was never in question. I was surprised to find out months later that you replaced the right wheel bearing ,and not the left no wonder we continued to have the same problem. Again, the truck has been in your shop three times for the same exact noises. Once again, I offered to drive the truck with the tech and was told it wasn’t needed. I specifically asked Dave, the service advisor, if the starter didn’t fix the problem would I be charged for it. I was told just to bring it back and Chapman would take care of it. You can imagine how surprised I was to not only learn that the bearing was put in the wrong wheel, but now I would have to pay another $8000 to fix the problem that was to be fixed on the two previous appointments!

Bryan Milan at Chapman Ford is very douchey.

Bryan Milan at Chapman Ford is very douchey. He lied to me and pulled a “bait and switch” on me. He said they would order a Raptor R for me at MSRP, $117,000, if I came down and put down a non-refundable deposit. I told them that I’d pay in full, cashiers check, if they could give me the truck at MSRP. They said they would. I got down there and they said MSRP was $157,000 because they added a dealer “addendum” or markup to the MSRP. Newsflash, MSRP is manufacturer’s suggested retail price and does not include dealer markups or addendums. So they also lied to me and treated me like I was a gullible idiot who is willing to throw away my money. Their sales motto is, “A fool and his money are soon departed.” They treated me like I was a complete financial idiot. Yes, I understand that the Raptor R is in very high demand and low production, and therefore it’s fetching a premium price. And I understand that financially illiterate morons will pay that price. They certainly treated me like a financially, illiterate moron! They thought they could take my money. I walked away. And they don’t give a xxxx about disabled veterans. Don’t go to Chapman.

We have multiple communications in writing with you stating there is a market adjustment.  There is no bait and switch; we were very upfront about the market adjustment.  At more than one point, you acknowledge the fact you were advised we were asking for a market adjustment and that we would be willing to adjust the market adjustment for you but that you still would not be interested. I’m completely correct and you are completely incorrect. Bryan saw “gullible sucker” on my forehead and tried to take advantage of me. He promised to order at MSRP and pulled a “bait and switch” on me and lied to get me in. Jamie

Do you have the recording of the telephone conversation when I spoke to Bryan on the phone? No, you don’t because If you did, you would know that he lied to me and pulled a bait and switch and told me that he could get me the truck at MSRP. Yes, we did discuss a market adjustment, but that doesn’t change the fact that he still lied to me and did a bait and switch to get me into the showroom. Do you have a recording of our phone conversation?

Do you have a recording of our phone conversation? No, I don’t think you do. If you did, you would know that Brian lied to me and pulled a bait and switch. On our phone conversation, he said that he could get me the truck for MSRP with no market adjustment. When I got into the showroom, he added the market adjustments and yes, we did discuss it as I tried to get him to come way down, but he refused. You don’t know what he promised me on the phone because there is no Recording of our phone call.

Our transaction is almost final, and she has walked us all the way through waiting for an ordered Bronco Sport. She took the frustration of car buying away and got to business. We recently purchased a 2025 Ford Mustang GT at Chapman Ford in Scottsdale, Arizona. Everyone we crossed paths with were professional, yet made us feel like family. Chelsea was waiting for us, as we had called in. After explaining what we were looking for, she introduced us to Mike Brill.
