Wow, I'm 63 years old, and this is the only car buying experience I've ever had that was flawlessly smooth! I was searching for a particular car that Craig happened to have in his personal collection since 1984. Craig agreed to part with it, and I made the 750 mile trek from Ohio to inspect the car first hand. Prior to the trip, Craig had forwarded me many photos of the vehicle, and provided every good or bad detail of the car he could, both in phone conversations, and via email. My inspection found nothing Craig had not previously explained. I actually spent a few hours inspecting the car on the rack, during which time Craig continued to point out the good and the bad. A few hours, and full disclosure of the good and bad? How many people can say that? Craig's honesty and kindness were impeccable! I was never rushed, and never pressured. If I had walked away from the purchase, I am certain Craig would have simply retained the car in his personal collection. Fortunately, I proceeded with the purchase, which as I mentioned went flawlessly smooth. I followed Craig to his bank where I completed the wire transfer of funds. I felt so very comfortable at the bank, where I noticed Craig was held in very high esteem. He seemed to be a member of the bank's family, and it showed. As the vehicle was also in his wife's name, I had the pleasure of meeting her at the bank. She was also very kind, and explained how difficult it would probably be for Craig to let go of something he had held for so long. I rated the "Repairs" as Excellent because Craig went to great lengths to search for, find, and include several original vehicle components he had stored in his archives. The transaction completed, Craig continued by finalizing enclosed trailer transportation of the vehicle for me back to Ohio. Being my purchase he could have left that duty to me. However, Craig made quick arrangements on his own. A short week later, the vehicle is now safely nestled in its new home. Yes, this sale was a personal sale from Craig, and not thru the dealership, but in reading other reviews, and thru my own experience, I truly believe Craig treats every customer or potential customer with the same honesty, dignity, and respect. Hats off to Craig Holcomb! He has a friend here in Ohio, and I hope many others from wherever will have the opportunity to have the enjoyable experience I did!

I could not be happier with my whole buying experience. I bought this car over the phone based on Craig Holcomb's description. When your going 400 miles to pick up a car you've never seen there is a certain amount of doubt. This car was better than described. I think Mr. Holcomb is probably the most honest dealer I have ever had the opportunity to purchase from. No hidden fees or surprises at pick up. He even picked me up from my motel filled my car with gas and called me on my ride home to make sure all went well. At 76 I have purchased many cars, this purchase ranks as one of the best ever. I see why he has been in business for over 45 years, his honesty and integrity is a rare thing in this day and age. Keep up the good work Craig your a great guy. God Bless You.

I bought a 2001 GMC pickup through Craig's dealership. He was very honest and straightforward with me during the entire process. When I asked details about the pickup, Craig told me how clean it was, and when I saw the vehicle for myself, his answers were spit on!! I grew up in South O and drove by this dealership probably 10,000 times in high school. Fast forward 30 years and our family car is totaled in Denver, we live in KS, I am in NE visiting family and our bank is in MO. I was here over the weekend for 48 hours, we needed a car quick and Craig was fantastic. No hidden fees, no pressure, just honesty and a great deal on a RAV4. He communicated clearly and quickly with us as we figured out the finances with old car. In the end, his word was gold and he saved us a trip back to NE. I've bought new and used all over the Midwest and this was EASILY the best car buying experience ever!!! When my kids get ready for college in a couple years, I'm coming back to Craig first.

We just purchased a 2008 Ford Escape from Craig. We have to say that this auto purchase has been the best experience we have ever had, new or used, Thanks to Craig. We feel that we got the most bang for the buck. Holcomb's has been in business for many years at this location, and the cars on his lot always look very good when you drive by. This time we stopped, and are very glad we did. You won't find high mileage vehicles there. The Escape that we purchased drives, rides, and handles as well as most newer vehicles.We would highly recommend Holcomb's Auto Sales, and see Craig. You won't be disappointed.

My daughter just bought a car from Craig at Holcomb's. We went there first because I knew she would get a stress free, no pressure car buying experience. After internet shopping, visiting another small dealer and then a large dealer we went back to Holcomb's and bought the car that she had first looked at. She got the pleasure of learning that car buying does not have to be a dreaded task. Craig's inventory is always low mile, well maintained, clean cars for a fair price. A couple of months ago my brother asked me about Holcomb's and I told him of my positive experience a few years earlier when I had bought my car from Craig. He ended up buying his car there also. Three members of our family now own cars purchased from Craig and are very happy with their purchase. I would encourage anyone looking for a car to check out his inventory first.

I had a fabulous experience working with Craig at Holcomb Motor Sales. I have 3 more vehicles to purchase for teens. I will be back. As a female shopping for vehicles, I usually find the whole experience stressful. I want to work with someone who is honest and I want a safe vehicle for my family at a fair price.
