They know their way around many vehicles, offer advice during the buying process, and have excellent trade in value if you are selling. Right Car Right Price
I bought my 2014 Audi A5 from this dealer, this dealer is one of the few that buys from new dealer trade ins, and not from Auctions, they have all service records and info on the car, the staff was very friendly and from start to finish about 2 hours, Jaffar the manager goes over everything in detail and can give realistic accurate numbers and gets you great financing, I don’t have anything Negative to say- keep up the good work, - John

2010 Benz GLK 350
Called Moe and told him I wanted to stop by and see the GLK 350 same day, he welcomed me. Got there, notice exterior damages immediately. The listing states the vehicle has a sun/moonroof and it didn't. Moe kept asking irrelevant questions about how I planned to paying for the vehicle and how old I am which I started to get annoyed with. He insisted that he test drive with me and that no one is able to test drive their vehicles without them in the car. I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF THIS BEFORE. What if I came with my entire family and there was no more space? I drove the car for about 8 minutes (Yes, I counted) with Moe giving me directions and complaining on how I drive. I explained to him I need to see how fast the car accelerated and slowed down. He asked me did I like the vehicle, I told him I couldn't tell based on the short drive. I was so turned off by the way he was acting that I wasn't even interested in purchasing the car. Just based off the short drive, I noticed the driver side window adjuster did not work properly. The middle console was broke. The gas tank cover was not on AT ALL.

Virginia Auto Traders is out to sell used cars. They are very business like in this regard. They were very professional as well. I felt that they should have been a bit more fourthwright about the vehicles and their policies from the beginning. I am at this point satisfied with my purchase (less then two weeks ago). Angel was very personable and promptly contacted me and reached out to me from the beginning. Jafar,Sadeek worked with me through all the paper work.

Awful
I put a deposit on a car and then was told by me calling the next day that it was sold already. Then my 500 dollar deposit wasn’t processed for a week so I won’t get it back for another week. Awful service and scams.

Virginia Auto Trader Co. (“VAATCO”) - GREAT
My experience with Virginia Auto Trader Co. (“VAATCO”) was great! I learned about VAATCO through my insurance company USAA. I’ve been with USAA for more than 30 years and they have never steered me wrong; so, I really trust them! The moment I called, I spoke with Angel. He truly is an angel. 😇 We arranged an appointment for me to look at a 2008 Honda Pilot. Due to a few postponements, Angel was very kind and understanding about rescheduling my appointments to see the Honda Pilot. The Honda Pilot handled very well during the test drive. Angel was well versed about the Honda and was able to answer any questions we asked. The application process was a breeze! The Finance Department was so enlightening. Dwight was awesome. He was so knowledgeable about the finance process and credit building. I learned so many things and the next thing I knew, I was being handed the keys to my new car! The only suggestion I have is one from my father. That is installing a space heater or a radiator in the waiting room to provide warmth for customers in that area. Words cannot express how fortunate I feel about meeting the gentlemen at VAATCO. Each person is so polite and knowledgeable about their section of the automobile business. The office runs like a “well oiled machine.” In the end, VAATCO feels like family and I would recommend them every time to everyone I know!

Stay Away
Important warning to potential car buyers - do not consider doing business with Virginia Auto Trader Co. Unfortunately, I purchased a vehicle from them two weeks ago and it has been a nightmare. Not only did they sell a bad car they were not honest about work done to the vehicle and have not made any meaningful attempt to resolve the issues I would hate for anyone else to have to endure this kind of treatment and suffer the financial hardship we are experiencing as a result of their unethical business practices.

Dear Mr. Hymel, It is typically not the policy of Virginia Auto Trader, Co. to respond to parties who were neither principals nor directly involved in any transaction. As any reputable dealer would, we extended your husband and son an opportunity to have their prospective purchase inspected by an independent third-party facility of their choosing prior to purchase, which they opted to do. Once that process was completed, with them both apprised and aware of the results, they decided to return to our dealership to complete the purchase. Again, this was AFTER the pre-sale inspection--not before. The vehicle had also been inspected by our technicians who found and repaired an oil turbo cooler line. Obviously, if the vehicle was in the state of disrepair that you claim here in your review, your husband who is an intelligent, polite, articulate and decent man would have called us to decline the purchase. We invite you to review all of the documents associated with this transaction, including the inspection results, and our repair orders for the oil change. It is our goal to have satisfied customers. As our many reviews overwhelmingly indicate, we generally do.
Dishonest Dealer
DISHONEST DEALER! We recently purchased a car from Virginia Auto Trader Co. Huge mistake. We went through the USAA buying service and thought that somehow that gave the dealership some level of credibility. That couldn’t be further from the truth. The dealership LIED about making a repair on the vehicle. Consequently, the car did not pass inspection (they ensured and has significant and costly problems. We contacted the General Manager, Jafar Rafai, to discuss the issue and give the dealership a chance to make the situation right. After 2 conversations, he committed to getting back to us about the issue the next day by 1pm. Four days and counting and still no call back. Since then we have learned that they even LIED about changing the oil in the car. What kind of dealership doesn’t bother to change the oil in a car they are selling and then lies about it? The scumiest kind. This dealership clearly has no integrity will stoop to the lowest levels of deceit to sell a vehicle that has significant issues. Potential buyers …do yourself a favor and run away from this dealership (or any R&R Automotive Group, Inc. company owned by Sadique Sultany) as fast as you can. Rating: -10 / 10 DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!
