It was a shady place, the car was in bad shape and we test drove it and then quickly left - no way I’d buy a car from there

"I strongly advise against dealing with Maxkar Auto, a dealership in Fredericksburg, Virginia. In my experience, this dealership is one of the most corrupt establishments you can come across. If you are considering buying a vehicle from them, exercise caution and pay attention to every detail. It is important to note that the prices they display on their website may not be honored in their agreements. Additionally, they may try to repossess your vehicle even if it has not been late for up to thirty days, which goes against consumer rights protection. I urge you to consider this information before purchasing from this dealership. I have personally reported them to all three bureaus and hired a lawyer. They have taken personal property out of a vehicle that they don't have the right to take. Not to mention that they exercised a breach of contract during their first attempt to repo my vehicle, which was current and up to date with the monthly payments. I had put down $18,000 on the car, and yet it had only been two months with current payments, and they unlawfully initiated the placement of the car on the lift while my wife was in the vehicle at the present moment. Law enforcement was contacted, and their assistance was requested. The one repo employee ran and hid until the cops arrived. The repo company did not have a legal document stating that a repossession was requested."

Not a very honest place the car was in really bad condition I would not recommend them to anyone

Contacted dealership for a pre owned Escalade. Sales man sent immediately an email. I reply with some questions. No reply. I resent my email. Everlasting silence. Sales manager sent me an email. I reply with my remarks. Silence seeems to be golden….

Intended to sell my car to Maxkar Motors but ended up buying an SUV from them too. They matched the offer I got from Carmax and didn't charge any processing fees. When I brought my car to them, a beautiful Lincoln Navigator caught my attention, the trade in deal they offered was fair. You get what you are promised without extra warm and fuzzies or pressure which made me comfortable. This is my first encounter with this dealership but I would recommend them and use them again. Simple and straightforward.

Nothing beats honest car sales people, they happily let me take the car to get it checked out by an independent mechanic. They were professional, patient and best of all not pushy. Great buying experience!

Decent prices with great selection of cars, but I am mostly impressed with their transparency with rates and approvals, you actually do get what they promise. We unfortunately don’t see this at many dealers, but kudos to Maxkar Motors for their honesty and for helping me finally get a car I actually want with a payment I am comfortable with.
