Lexus of New Orleans

I had an auto search going through Cars.com for quite some time until I was ready to buy. I originally was going to buy from my local Infiniti dealership but all 3 times I went, no one came out to greet me. Well, I expanded my search and came across an Infiniti that checked off all of my boxes, but it was in New Orleans. Skeptical, I reached out and was put in touch with Shelli Ali and boy was I lucky. The car I wanted was originally out of my price range. After a short time, Shelli came back with a deal I thought was very fair for me. I arranged a flight and a room and went to New Orleans. Prior to my arrival, Robert, who I think is the sales manager noticed that there was some wear on the carpet under the floor mats. He went above and beyond and had someone come right away to the dealership and fix it. On top of that, one of the floor mats was mismatched. Within minutes he had a new set ready for me at no charge. They were in Baton Rouge and he offered to have them brought to me. I said there was no need to do that as I was heading through Baton Rouge back to Austin and would pick them up on the way. Keep in mind, I was buying an Infiniti, not a Lexus and they went above and beyond to make the customer happy. If you come across a car at this dealership but aren't a local, you can trust that they will take care of you. I didn't realize my local credit union didn't loan on out of state purchases. I didn't find out until 3 hours before my flight. Shelli hustled with the finance department and got me a rate comparable to my credit union and saved the day. Since I was coming from out of state, they had the car detailed for me. Good lord, their detail department was 5 stars. The car I bought was a 2016 and the detailers made the car look better than brand new. I now have my dream car and the experience from the start was by far the best customer experience I have had regardless of industry.

So... it’s my wife’s birthday coming and I’ve seen her looking at Lexus cars on her iPad before bed. I don’t say anything, I just take a mental note and go about my business. Now my wife is my biggest supporter and appreciation just doesn’t end when it comes to her so I’m thinking “I’ve gotta do something big for her birthhday” as far as gifts go. Now I know nothing about Lexus and their cars so I spin up there as clueless as a deer in headlights and luckily I fall into the hands of Davin Chambers. He doesn’t know me and I don’t know him but he asked such detailed questions and was so attentive that by the end of the process I wanted to invite him to game night with the fellas. I’ve rarely encountered service like this but just know that when my wife saw her birthday gift, the expression on her face and the look of gratefulness and feeling appreciated was warm enough to get us through the winter in the snow. Davin you helped me show my greatest supporter that she’s irreplaceable! If you need anything related to cars, Lexus, or both I suggest asking Davin first. Listen, when I tell you that Davin Chambers is a mountain mover and miracle maker, understand that I’m trying not to go overboard. He helped me decide on what I wanted based on my list of needs and my family and social dynamic. He’s patient and very understanding. Plus he didn’t gouge me on the price!! He’s the best.
