Good experience at the time of sale, with friendly, attentive, non-pushy service. After the sale, we realized that there were several inaccurate descriptions of the vehicle, which were not obvious upon inspection. They also did not have the title (that information was not revealed until after the sale was completed) on hand, and it took over three weeks to receive. There paperwork errors were blamed on us, and instead of being helpful and apologetic, became irritated, condescending and attempted to push the blame elsewhere. Overall, not a very good experience after the sale.

We apologize for the gap in service. In most situations with title work and such, if there is a discrepancy in the sending and receiving of a title it will usually involve information that we are missing. We do not submit title work unless we have all the data requested by the DMV. Sometimes, if a customer doesn't send in payment or submits incorrect information we have to wait until we get the correct information. Again, a sincere apology.

So here is my story... I was in a car accident and totaled my car and needed a new one fast. Went to a few places and bought a car for cheap here. This was supposed to just be a temporary car for me but I have no problems with it so far that I will use it until it breaks. The salesman was really nice and knew a lot about the different makes & models that they have. Thanks for the inexpensive car!

I happened to purchase a used car here. It wasn't in the best of condition but it is a car with high mileage. Since I don't travel far it made sense to buy. Unfortunately, I had to spend an extra 500 to get a new belt, oil change & tires rotated n balanced. The person I dealt with was named Boris and overall I'm happy with my purchase.

Purchased a vehicle last year and was told it needed nothing. Took it the next week to my mechanic who gave me an estimate for 2500 worth of work that needed to be done. I called them immediately and it was a huge fight eventually I agreed to paying for parts and they would do free labor. Still cost me another $1500. Now this year I go for inspection and it turns out one of the things they were supposed to fix the valve cover gasket is leaking so much oil that it failed due to fire hazard. This part if installed correctly should last 5+ years minimum. Now they won't return phone calls. Save yourself the time money and a huge headache!

Lemon

I drove a long distance to see a car they had. The owner assured me that the car had a small accident and that front bumper was the only thing that was replaced (which I didn't mind). When I actually went to see it, there were more problems than good. First of all, the two front airbags were deployed, ever part on the car was a different color. Then, I decided to test drive it anyways, the tires were rubbing against the bumper and the clutch was bad. The window buttons were working properly. Many more problems to mention but I don't have all day. STAY AWAY FROM THEM AND THEIR LEMONS!!

I had little problems with the Honda Civic I purchased but everything was straightened out. Things came out very smooth after talking to Boris. I would say M2 Auto is committed and strive for excellence.

Looking for decent car to get to chemo treatments for stage 4 cancer patient. Went on a Saturday afternoon was initially told car was in small accident and told small refundable deposit 10% would hold car until we could bring mechanic in. Went back after finding out the car was actually in 3 serious accidents and had more damaged then reported to us by salesman. Was cussed at by management when we went back with this information, they then put up a brand new sign that said no refunds on deposits while we were standing there, and told us to prove it. Have since contacted the Better Business Bureau of NJ.. Would not recommend this used car lot to anyone. This is how they treat senior citizens and cancer patients

Dealer response

We would like to apologize for your recent experience at M2 Auto Group. We take pride in offering quality vehicles and more importantly, being honest with our customers. Vehicle history reports are available for all the vehicles in our inventory. The price of the vehicle has been adjusted accordingly to its history, not it's mileage and condition. We understand that our Posted Policy could be overlooked, but if you refer to your bill of sale it states the refund policy and is to be explained to each customer prior to leaving a deposit. We do not believe that we spoke before but we do want to apologize again for your negative feelings about the vehicle and the treatment you received while here. We want you to know that your experience has led us to make sure that our customers are informed of any prior damage that occurred. Since last year, we have made significant efforts to improve the customer service throughout our dealership, and although I am sure that you might be a little hesitant, I would really like to speak with you to see if there is anyway we can rectify things. I would really like to show you how quickly we can turn things around in your favor.

My experience at this dealer was pretty good. Alex was really calm and professional IMO. I bought a second car that is better on gas to take to work every now and then. Doing this also helps with a discount on insurance for my family. So far I haven't had any problems with it and could not be happier since it was a really inexpensive purchase.

The guy at this place was pretty cool. I went in there to get a cheap used car. They had a bigger selection than I thought they would have had. Everything went very smooth and I have no complaints. Thank you.

I would absolutely recommend this dealership. Boris was friendly and knowledgable he answered all my questions. Brois was amazing. He helped me through the entire purchasing process. His personality knowledge and no pressure sales approach was what made me stick with the purchase of a Subaru outback. I felt that he was straightforward and trusting.
