On June 26, 2010 I purchased a 2002 Hyundai Sante Fe from M2 Auto Group along with a 90 day warranty from your corporation. As any used car dealer would do they told me that the car was in great condition, I test drove it and all seemed well (from an untrained mechanics eye) it looked and drove well the car fax came up clean and overall all seemed well, I proceeded with the purchase and approximately 24 hours later the car was un-drivable. I couldn’t believe it. I got in my car and noticed it was extremely hard to turn my wheel and drove immediately to my mechanics and this is what he told me: The powering steering hose had a large leak and was pouring out fluid and could not be driven until the hose was replaced. The passenger window will not go up or down from the passenger’s side The oil was MUD The transmission fluid smelled like celery also thick as mud The brakes started screeching and would need to be replaced immediately The Air conditioning which was advertised as is perfect condition by the sale rep said all it needed was a charge of free-on which leaked out within 24 hours and needed a new hose and to be recharged again. My mechanic also informed me in the very near future the car will need other maintenance I will have him draw up an estimate on the further repairs that will be needed within the next 90 days. I contacted M2 Auto group on Sunday 6/27 numerous times and no one answered and the answering machine was so full you could not leave a message for them, I then contacted them on Monday 6/28 and left numerous messages for the manager Juan who was the only person I could speak to because the owner of M2 will not speak with anyone, I then contacted Juan back Tuesday 6/29 numerous times again with no call back to me, by Wednesday 6/30 I told my mechanic to go forward with the abundant amount of repairs needed to get my vehicle functioning. Total $614.00 is repairs within 24 hours of owning my truck :'( Since the repairs have been made I have contacted Juan at M2 Auto Group countless times with no avail, all I get is the run around for reimbursement. Luckily I did purchase a 90 day warranty with Guardian Warranty Corporation and some resolution is better than no resolution. I did report M2 Auto Group to the Attorney General's office and to the Better Business Bureau my one complaint will add to the many they already have. Also before you purchase anything from this awful business see what others have gone through I was one of the LUCKY ones! BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!

This morning after seeing an ad on another site I called M2 to ask if they had still had the vehicle.I asked specifically if there was anything wrong with the vehicle because based on my search the price was alot lower than fair market value.I called twice before making the trip to make sure I was going to see what the pics had shown.Well I get there and after a 10 second look around I notice there is a space between the headlight and the fender thats atleast 1 inches off.Look in the wheel well..no cover that should be there and if you touch the headlight it will fall inward.Otherwise in good condition so maybe based on the price I overlook the terrible work that was done to fix what Im sure had to be the result of an accident.I go inside and guy hands me the keys.I start it up I see an engine light.I try to turn the ac/heat on and it won't work.I try the windows/doorlocks...nope.I go inside and guy asks what I thought.I ask about what kind of accident this truck was in and I get..."well most trucks/cars that are older and used have been in accidents".All the while guy is doing other things and not even looking at me.Sure there are alot of vehicles in accidents but if repaired right it shouldnt matter so much.I tell him the truck has alot of issues and I get a response of "oh".A complete waste of time and a bit of honesty in the ad could have avoided me taking a unnecessary trip.

Rude service aside, the cars they sell generally seem to have been modified poorly or had home-brew repairs done on them. I Bought a Mk 4 Volkswagen Golf from the dealership. Upon inspection, it needed a few things, but the main issue was that the check engine light had been reset to that it didn't show up during test drive. Not even 30 miles into ownership and the check engine light came on showing misfire. M2 refused to acknowledge the problem and said that it was not their fault, I should have inspected the car better. How can you inspect a car thoroughly when the test drive is one right turn and a stop sign, for a total trip of less than a mile? The car was nothing but problems, and finally ended in disaster when it broke down on the highway, never to work again. If anyone is considering buying a car from this dealership I'd recommend walking away, and for those of you that did purchase a car from this dealership, might I suggest a very small deductible because it will get very expensive very fast.

Was looking for a nice used luxury vehicle to which I located at this dealership. However, the experience just over the phone turned me away. The sales rep. was not even paying attention to any of my questions and every answer had a pause with a real low tone answer to which I could not make out. Then as I continued to ask questions on the vehicle, the sales rep start it to show less care, and less interest in helping me. Jobs are hard to fine and unemployment high, but some how this guy has a job...

I had been looking for a vehicle to replace the one I'd...
I had been looking for a vehicle to replace the one I'd had for several years. My inital visit to M2Auto was to check out a 2006 Jeep Laredo. I asked if I could test drive and the battery wouldn't start. I was told due to the cold weather that was the reason, however I kept that thought in the back of my mind. I test drove the Jeep and something just didnt' feel right about the vehicle. The salesman informed me that it had indeed been in an accident and the front end/grill had to be replaced. So I stayed clear away from this vehicle, however while I was there I noticed a 2003 Volkswagen Passat W8 Motion. I inquired, test drove and everything seemed to be in order for what I was looking to purchase. Low miles, car fax came up clean and overall from an untrained mechanics eye looked and drove well. I proceeded with the purchase. Approxiamately 3 weeks after having the vehicle a dashboard signal came on. I took out the owners manual to find out what is was as it was the malfunction indicator light. I contacted M2auto and told them of the issue. And I also inquired about my transferred plates. Freddie told to come in and they would take a look at the vehicle. I took the vehicle in Bobby wasn't there so I had to deal with Mike to called Bobby for every quesiton. Mike couldn't find my plates, and then told me that no one had time to look at my vehicle. He called Bobby and told him of the issues. I spoke with Bobby and expressed my dissatisfaction of the problems with the vehicle and not receiving transfered plates. Bobby told me that he is only the manager and doens't handle the plares, I told him that a a manager it is his job to ensure that his employees do what is expected of your customers, especially since I had made it quite clear that I wanted to transfer my plates. He hung the phone up on me. Finally a mechanic performed a diagonistic test on the vehicle and told me it was the torque converter clutch (transmission). Bobby told Mike, that he didn't want me to come back to the dealership to get any repairs done. I've filed a complaint with BBB and NJ Attorney General's Office and will continue to inform other's of there lack of professionalionism, courtesy and respect of unsuspecting buyers. BTW I still haven't recieved my transferred plates...

Originally I was alittle hesitant to purchase a car from the reviews. I found them on the internet and was coming from 3 hours away. I had left a deposit then found the reviews later. I called and expressed my concern to Robert and we spoke for over a half an hour about the car, the purchase process and just the business overall. When I arrived the car was ready and the checked out well by myself(not a mechanic of any sort) and I also had a local mechanic stop in and check the car out before I laid the money out. The mechanic brought up a few wear items to take into consideration with the higher miles. I purchased an extended warranty which turned out too be a pretty good deal. Within the 3 months I have had the car, I had to have a minor repair to the Rear window regulator/motor and a Brake Caliper. Overall it was a pretty painless experience, I'd recommend the extended warranty if it fits in your budget incase of any large mechanical failure. Good Luck Randy

My car died so I needed to find a new one. I can't...
My car died so I needed to find a new one. I can't remember the guys name the shorter of the two in the office. Anyway, he said he had this GREAT Jetta GLX coming in and I was shopping for a VW. When the car finally came in, oh and I asked that he call when it did come in, I called and it seemed like I pulling teeth just to get an answer about the car. They said i could come in and check it out. When I got there, the car was no where near how he talked it up to be. I looked like someone wearing a full arm cast attempted to do touch up paint ALL over the car, not a good job and the color didn't match up either. The rear bumper was hit and cracked.Side molding was coming off and some how half of the bottom skid guard was missing. They "detailed" the car prior to me getting there and the inside smelt like mildew and wet dog. When I went into the office after seeing the car he asked what I thought, I said its alright. ALRIGHT?!? The car is better than ALRIGHT, like I'm an idiot and had this stupid look on his face like I offended him. Unlike the last person who commented, the guy let me test drive the car and trust me you didn't miss anything. He drove the car off the curb without a ramp or anything. The front tire was flat and they had to but air in the tire. (the time prior to this, another car in the sales lot had a flat. And if you know MK IV Jetta's the milage and time is always on, even if the car is off. Not one but two Jetta's in the sales lot had dead batteries) My test drive consisted of him directing me around back streets, that he kept warning me about cops and not to go over the 25 to 30 MPH speed limit, and even at that speed the test drive was over in literally 5 minutes or less. After the test drive he had me park close to where it was parked but in the Krausers parking lot, I can only assume they just drove it back up the curb. We went back to the office and he eventually quoted me a price. It looked like they had just sold a car to someone but was doing everything else but finish with them. The one guy that was helping the buyers was talking on his cell phone while the guy that was suppose to be helping me was doing something for him on his cpu. Then a customer from out of state came into the office and had spoke with them about a car, now me and the buyers are just sitting there being ignored (I could tell those poor poeple that just bought their car were getting PISSED). They directed them back outside as they could not find the keys for the car. I finally get my number 4016.00 out the door, everything. So I said, ok so its 4k, NO its the price I told you. I asked him if he was serious and he said he was and again making that stupid face. Done, over, good bye, and never again. I'll by a scooter before I ever even ask them a question about a car. They have no business being in a sales oriented business. Oh and to comment on the last guys posting, he said he thinks the "5" rating is a fake. Your absolutely right because seen the exact same post on a different site word for word. They think highly of them selves.

I was on my way to this dealer and called to ask to test drive a car. The dealer asked if I was ready to buy now. I said very soon but not tonight. He said "you can look at the car but you cannot test drive it, I don't want to move my cars unless you are ready to buy". I hung up, made a U-turn, and went to a reputable dealer that I used in the past and ended up buying a car that night after all. Every time I called this dealer, they answered the phone with just a quiet "hello?" as if they were a private seller. They never answer "M2 Auto Group". What are they trying to hide? They always give short answers over the phone as if you are bothering them. They received a grade of "F" from the Better Business Bureau. Read the first review where they scored a 5. It is obvious they wrote this tacky review themselves or had a friend do it. I did not purchase a car from them so I cannot give a complete review. But use caution before buying a car from them.
