we came in looking for a car to get around town in, the salesman Andrew Canaday was great help and very knowledgeable . the process was very easy and the new warranty they offer is awesome.

quick and flexible

I was able to trade in my old truck, find the truck i wanted and fill out paperwork within an hour. Everyone there also was super helpful makin sure i was satisfied with the deal i got and makin sure I was getting a good price for my trade. They were real transparent with everything i filled out and everything they said and I went home satisfied with the trade i made

Buyer Beware

Buyer beware!!! Buying a used car from Automaxx in Summerville was the worst car buying experience I’ve ever had. My husband and I have been looking for a Honda Odyssey for a while and we found one at Automaxx. The Automaxx website said it had new tires, it did not have new tires, so we informed the salesman we were working with and they put new tires on the van. While they were putting the tires on we signed all of the paper work and the van was ours. When they finished with the tires we went out to the van and the first thing we noticed was a big scratch on the front bumper and a parking sensor completely gone, there is a hole in the front bumper. I asked the salesman about it, he said we can take it to the Honda dealer to get it fixed. So now we cannot use any of the parking sensors because the missing sensor sets off the alarm. When we put the three car seats for our three small children in the van we noticed all six of the rear headrests are missing (we thought they were in the trunk, they were not). We were told we can also purchase those if we want them, they even offered to give us the dealer rate so they would only cost $1,800! So now, we cannot have passengers in our van because of the safety risk of not having headrests and we cannot afford $1,800 it costs to replace them all. No one was willing to help us, and we had already signed the paper work, so they would do anything more to get this rectified. We then left the dealership very unhappily in our ‘new to us’, damaged, unsafe van, but first we had to stop and get gas in the van so we could make it home. The next day we spoke to the manager to see if they would meet us half way or if we could come to an agreement on the sensor issues and headrests. We were told they cannot keep dumping money into our van, there is nothing they can do about it. We offered to pay for the tires if they would fix the rest of the safety issues and the sales manager accused us of calling him a bad person and told us to “pack up your family and leave”. We soon realized the tires were not balanced (the van shakes on the highway), it needed an oil change, it needed new windshield wipers, and we also found out there is an open safety recall on one of the rear airbags. We’ve done some research and found out that legally cars are NOT supposed to be sold with open safety recalls. They sold a car and they are done, not caring that there has been no resolution. We called them to give them one more chance to do the right thing and we were told “there is nothing they can do for us”. This is our warning to anyone who is thinking about buying a car from Automaxx…once you sign the paperwork they will do NOTHING for you, be careful!

Great experience

Had to get a new vehicle and after looking at other dealerships I came here. Looked at the cars for sale and after a little bump was able to get a car I wanted at a reasonable price. The Jordan helped us and explained everything and answered what ever questions we had. I would recommend this dealership to a friend.
