I waited as long as I could to provide this review. My experience with BMW of Albany has been the most frustrating car buying experiences I've ever had; to say the least. What should have been a simply online car purchase has been dragging on now for over 3 months. And just for clarity the car war "NOT" financed, it was a cash buy for a 2018 BMW 330i xDrive GT. The process started Dec 19th and was insured & paid for in full by. Dec 21, 2024, all tax, tags, and shipping cost documented & agreed upon were paid in full. Prior to the payment for the full amount of the contract a cash deposit was wired to hold the car, that was suppose to be refunded in full. However I was sent a partial refund 3months later with absolutely no explanation or documentation nor was there a written signed legal agreement for the missing refund. The finance and title departments inefficiency and knowledge in the online car buying procress. Also note, I initiated my purchase via TrueCar so what is calculated becomes your actually buyers contract thats honored by the seller, unless you do add ons. Every step in purchasing a car in house that take 1 day, reguired days of my time: ie: 1. Day 1-Deposit ( waiting on sellers agreement review) 2. Day 2- Auto Insurance (waiting for seller to sign agreement) 3. Day 3-Wire transfer for full amount of purchase contract sent 4. Day 6-Finance sends me a blank financing agreement after receiving the wire transfer and has to redo it 3 time before getting it correct. 5. Day 11- Car arrives, with no documents, sticker still on the windows, brake fluid light on(when I was assured it had been fully serviced to BMW standards), and 1 key fobs (when again I was told there were 2 key fobs) STILL NO DEPOSIT REFUND 6. Day 15- Title registration documents arrive for signature and notary. 7. Day 71- Tags & registration arrive STILL NO REFUND 8. Day 78- Partial refund arrives My sales representative Brandie and the manager Devin I will say were great at communicating and trying to resolve my issue, however the finance department and administrative department are horrible.

I had a great experience leasing my second car from this dealership. Anthony Wilson did an amazing job answering all of my questions. His customer service skills were awesome! If your out to lease or buy a vehicle you should ask for him, I think you will be pleased!

When buying my car the person in finance was very sexist
When buying my car the person in finance was very sexist and racist. Should have been a warning to just walk away but I special ordered it online. Now every time I drop it off for service they take over 6 hours to do an oil change. When you ask at the start of the appointment a time frame they just lie and then won’t answer the phone when you’re asking where your car is because it’s been with them the whole work day. Brandon and Heather give absolutely atrocious service. I will never get a BMW again while living here to avoid dealing with this dealership.

Warning!
Warning!!!! warning!!!!This dealership sold my wife a car that was purchased in order to support our family and clearly failed the safety inspection with seatbelts not functioning and having major problems with the sensors. They are extremely nice and professional during the purchase process. Now they are nowhere to be found, and no help at all. What a nightmare!!!!

Car delivered to meeting location over 1 hour late.
Car delivered to meeting location over 1 hour late. Salesperson tried to cancel delivery after we have been on road 45 min, even though confirmed delivery day before. Upon purchase, “we owe form” indicated scratch treatment and touch up paint would be done before delivery. It was not! Car was not clean inside. Complained several times and sent email with pictures because we live 4 hours away. No response!!!!

My recent service experience was VERY disappointing....
My recent service experience was VERY disappointing. Since August 1st I had been calling the service department to schedule a regular service. It wasn’t until the 29th did BMW finally pick up my car for service after several calls to check on my scheduled appointment. After the pick up, I never received communication on the status of my vehicle. Each day I had to call the dealership to check on my vehicle. I was told on several occasions that I would receive a loaner and never got one. I went an entire work week without a vehicle and poor communication. At this point it was nearing the end of the week and I still was calling to check on my vehicle. Victoria said that two guys were on their way to deliver my vehicle, however hours later she called saying that they aren’t able to. She then said she would bring my vehicle after hours and again led me on to think I would be receiving my vehicle and never did until the next day. Not only did I struggle with talking with her, but I also contacted the dealership twice to speak with the manager Gil, however he never returned my calls after the receptionist stated that she notified him of my call. Had they were just honest and communicated with me, all of this could have been avoided! Overall, this experience was the worst I have seen since I have been a customer of BMW for over four years!
